MAY 12th-19th!! THESE ARE THE MAYS OF OUR LIVES! Part 4

I have been doing ours for about 3-4 years now. I am thinking about taking the tax course next fall and then working at H&R Block or another tax place. DS6 will be in school all day next year. I don't really want to go back to work at the bank, they are so UN-flexible with the hours. Working Jan-April would be perfect for me!

We have an acct do ours. This year I donated alot of things to charity and have all my reciepts like a good girl.

Am i weird... I LOVE LOVE LOVE WDW but i will not go on the rides... maybe the baby rides... i'm not a ride person but i so love the park....

WHAT NO RIDES. I Love the rides. I ride them all. The only one that bothers me is the Tower of Terror

Mari - I didn't know that you weren't a "ride person"! And I thought I knew my MAYer friends so well!

Well maybe I can talk you into one big ride in MAY!! How about RNRC?!? It's my favorite!! I promise you can't even tell you are going upside down because you are GOING SO FAST!!!

Huggie - I am with you about the rides, you gotta try them at least once. TOT is a bit unnerving to me too, especially when the elevator shakes you...reminds me of the earthquakes we go through in California. LOL! I am there to get my moneys worth - hit those rides!

Mari - I had no idea. There are some amazing "pre-shows" or ques for some of the rides.

I think EE has an awesome que. It is like you are in a museum for the yeti. I think they did an awesome job on que for this ride. Same thing for Kali River Rapids. Not quite as great but good still. It took me several trips plus 2 rain ponchos before I would go on this ride. Now I really like it, but hate being wet.

What are your favorite ride preshows or ques?

Muppet 3-D is one of my favs. I am just smitten with that TV pre-show.

It's been recently that i do not do rides... last couple of years i used to LOVE rides.... maybe i will try one in May.....

I have my days I think I'll post them tommorow i have them at work I also want to change around some ADR's....

I wouldn't even look at it on the last trip, but after riding the Pitt Fall at Kennywood (it just takes you up and drops you) I'm ready to ride TOT




I'm still trying to figure out our days. I do know we are going to go to DTD the day we arrive and sunday is Magic Kingdom. Still trying to figure out the rest of the days.

What can any of you tell me about the Contemporary...??????

Looking at that resort now. I/*we* can't seem to make up our minds as to the resort! just when we think we are going to do one thing, we change our minds!

Hope all is well with you all.
I'm still struggling with the new med, so I am not doing as great as I'd like, but hopefully it will wear off soon and I will get used to it.

Not long now MAYers...

Yes, the dang Contemporary!!!!

You know, growing up, we both thought if you could stay at the Contemporary, that it was the neatest thing and your parents must love you a whole bunch, because only the coolest kids got to stay there. Not to mention the Monorail...

Anyway,
IF and it's a BIG if, they release room only rates for October like they have in thepast, then I could get a theme park view in the tower fornot much more than I am paying now for POFQ.

Makes sense to Mark.
However, I am concerned as always, with lack of space. But dang! Being able to sit on your balcony at night after you put the kids to bed and watching the MK is worth a lot of money to me!
Especially since MNSSHP will be going on...
And being a 5 minute walk to the gate of MK...
WOW.

For the same $ at the POLY, I'd have to get a garden room,
and those are standard and might over look something awful...LOL. I just can't afford it all, but I'd like to.

Its funny Jo because me and my DH were thinking about changing to CRT that would be great.... the rooms look great and it would be great to overlook the park from ones room... but it's like 1000 more then CSR so we'll see....
