Thanks Seacrest!!! You're an awesome tour guide already!!!!:) I'll PM you in a sec...

Still no dates yet. DH is having a really stressful week at work, so i don't want to add the pressure of "I need dates so I can plan our vacation." ;)
It's his company's last quarter in the fiscal year and it's a bit hectic right now.
Ahhh, who needs planning and funding and budgets, anyhow? JoBird has a vacation to plan, dangit!:rotfl:

Cola Champagne???? For reals??? I can't wait to see the pics of the food.

I watched Behind the scenes at DisneyLand Resort yesterday!!!! frozen banana.
I am soo excited.

Shelly, I had to go onto their website to track my order. Nothing was happening with it so I emailed them this morning and whaddya know, this afternoon it's posted as being shipped.
Glad little dude is feeling better. Must've been a virus.

Jo

DS made it through school and his temp is fine, but he says his throat hurts now. :sad2: I can tell it does because his voice sounds funny. What to do now. . . :confused3

Mari - I see you got a few responses on the photopass thread. Did you see the link for the thread that someone posted for you about another May photopass share? They are talking about getting like 10 or more people on one. . . That seems like it might get a little confusing. . .

Seacrest & Huggie - you are making me hungry!! Even though I don't know what most of the food is that you are talking about! :lmao:

I noticed but with 10 people it might be cheaper but def. more confusing... i would like 5 to 6 tops.... too many people = a headache.....

My DH makes me want to strangle him... I was telling him about flights that come out to 717.50 but we would leave from another airport... he said no he would rather pay the extra 125 and leave from our home airport.... so now cheapest i find is 836.00 oh and he also want direct flights leaving around 7am to disney and coming back no earlier then 7pm.... i told him don't get mad at me when you the bank account go down..... he's a big sucker for my DD2 and he said it's better for her to enjoy all the time she can (but deep down inside i think he loves Disney just as much as i do...but shhhh don't tell him i said that).... i'm telling u he leaves no space for saving....

Oh Mari you make me laugh!! :rotfl2:

I am so glad I got those flights last week. They have both since gone up. The flight I got going there went up to $120 and the flight back is $102. As of now the only $79 flights left are 6:40pm going there (and I thought 2pm was bad :rotfl: ) and 7am coming back!

Don't get me wrong, I'm still hoping for a better price on an earlier flight down. . . oh, and a credit!! :goodvibes I don't ask for much do I ?!?

JO - I got Dings to San Francisco and San Jose this week, but no LAX yet. . .

Did you try uninstalling your Ding and reinstalling?

Ask and you shall receive is right....haha:lmao:

okay..

Huggie- Montreal is a beautiful city, and a metropolitan city.
Plenty of french is spoken there, but it is also the most english of all Quebec's cities. Old Montreal will be nice. Let's see, well there is the planetarium, and Cirque du Soleil calls Montreal home.
But maybe this will help you more...

Unfortunately it is about a 10 hour drive from where I live. :(
I live right across the border from Detroit in Windsor, Ontario.

So Seacrest.... I am about a 4 days drive from Banff. :(

Canada is a large country and Banff is one of the most beautiful locations, as is Jasper in the National Parks along the Rockies.
The train trips are wonderful, great for families, or romantic getaways.

www.rockymountaineer.com - this rail tour is popular and known to be very good.

If anyone ever comes to the Toronto/Detroit Corridor... I would be happy to play tour guide...hahahaha

Huggie,

We also had Cola Champagne for the first time. It is very sweet and highly carbonated. I liked it - have you ever had it before?

I used to drink that all the time. Have you ever had Malta Goya? YUMMY. When I was pregnant, I used to crave a beer so I would have a Malta and that would satisfy me.

Jo- Cola Champagne is a very sweet soda, kind of like a lighter cream soda.

Huggie: I have never had that drink-I will have to keep my eye out for it. We have lots of Mexican and Central American markets and restaurants in our area, so you can find a lot of unusual and tasty stuff.

Here are the pics of my son and the burrito that he conquered last night:

Mornin!

My goodness, that burrito was huge! I don't know how he ate it all without getting ill!

Well, I have dates for Cali and they are not what I wanted...:headache:
The conference starts on the 20th. So I will be coming out on Thursday the 22nd...Memorial Day Weekend, ugh. I thought it would be earlier. We'll leave Tuesday, the 27th for home.

We could go the weekend before the Conference, but Drew's birthday is on the 18th, and I just can't be away from Little dude on his day. I was once before when we went to Cabo San Lucas for a company trip and it just about killed me. He was okay; Momma, not so much.

So, We will pay more and have more crowds. But, Mark will only miss two days of work, so that's good.

Okay, let the planning begin! I have to get so much done.

Parent-teacher conferences today; the kids have half days.

Oh yeah, I think another ticker may be coming soon. Yay!

Sea~
Do you know which rental car companies are actually in the LAX terminal? I don't want to have to go forever to get to one. I found a rental through Budget for right at $200 (full size, through SW) but it will be more b/c I have to have the GPS. blonde space cadet, and all.
:)

Also, tell me if you think I need a touring plan like through Ridemax. I just know it's going to be crowded. I'm thinking we'll do the parks Friday, Sunday (maybe) and Monday? Leaving Saturday open for touring around or Sunday as well.

I really don't want to be commando like I am at WDW, more relaxed would be a nice change of pace.

Oh gosh I have so many questions.

Jo

Oh my gosh! Look at my new ticker!!! I've never had one like that before.

I like it.

Mari, you are so wise and wonderful! Too many people does = :headache:

I don't ask for much do I ?!?

Not too much! :thumbsup2

You guys are so culturally cool! :cool2:
