JoBird! I looked all over for you and JC my last two days in the parks.....I was sad to miss y'all.

Oh, Sulley! I could not find you either! I was so very sad!

I hope your work is getting better. I was thrust back into the real world this morning making lunches for the kids to take to school.

Ahhhhh...
So, when's the next trip? Dh told me as I was boarding the plane "Go home and plan another one." That's saying a lot coming from him! I better act fast.

I was so happy to meet ya'll! It was so funny, looking back on how we met. When you said to me "hey MAYer", I looked at you and thought "This lady's lost it, she thinks I'm a MAYOR of a town." BWWAAAHHHH! I have laughed at myself so hard for being so blonde.

I hope your weather is good. DH just called and said his morning run on the Boardwalk was very muggy. It's raining in Pittsburgh, of course.

Hmmm....next trip? I've been trying to decide what I want to do, I'm out of vacay time for the rest of this year, so it'll have to be next year.....I'm trying to decide doing 1 week in March during Spring Break and 1 week in August for my birthday or 2 weeks in May.

It's day 5 for us and only 2 more days left!
Went to MGM today and seen all the characters.
It was a good day! Ryan, our 5 yr old rode Hollywood Hotel Tower of Terror and LOVED IT!!
My fav ride so far is "Soaring"!
Wendy's fav ride was Kraken at Sea World!
We are off to MK again in the morning to try and catch Captain Jack character for a quick photo then we are headed to Typhoon Lagoon, then Hoop Dee Do at the Wilderness Lodge!
My fav 2 parks are Magic Kingdom and Sea World!
I'll write up a good trip report when we get back.... Not too impressed with Disney Food. Fast Foods are good, Dinner foods are $$$ and not very good!
Thank Goodness for Disney Dining Plan!! Very well worth the money!!
Everything here at Pop Century has been Awesome!!
Great Food, Nice Rooms, Friendly Staff, Everything is clean and well staffed!

More too come!
Hope to see all you Mayers that we haven't met yet and see the others again before we leave!
I wish we could all meet up somewhere for a quick group photo!
I know thats not possible with everybody going diffrent placesl.... lol

Hi All!

I ran into lake briefly again at Epcot today. We must be on the same path. We stayed in Epcot until 3:30 today then took at taxi to AK for EMH. The weather has been awesome. We are used to humidity in AR so for us, we have thought it was not humid. In AR we have been having 80 to 90 degree days and high humidity before we left. This has been cooler and less humid for us.

My family thinks this is the best vacation ever. I was afraid since this was our 5th year in row that they would be bored but they just love it even more.

It has been so fun to see Mayers. Today I saw a couple of families in lime green and tried to non-chalantly shine my LGMH at them but they were non responsive.

My kids love meeting the Mayers as well. They get such a kick out of it.

So we ran into Disneyanajc today while we were checking into the Poly. The Dh and I were walking away from the concierge check in desk when I heard some one saying 'excuse me' a couple times. I was about to chastise the DH for stepping on someone or getting in their way when I realized it was Disneyanajc trying to get my attention

We hit Epcot today (omg, I feel the pain of deep powder snowboard days today). I also drank an entire country filled with vodka. Grey lemon slurpees are all they are hyped to be and MORE. We called them icy lemon yummies.

Hey just a quick live report. We are having a great time. Dh met MarcyinPa today while I was in Test track in Epcot. We are off to Animal Kingdom tomorrow. Hope to see a mayer there. I am wearing my buttons proudly.

Today was our sleep in day! We were ready for it. Ds even asked last night about it.

We are hanging around the resort today, swimming and arcade. We are heading out to Epcot tonight for dinner at Alfredos.

Aw Jo, thanks for complimenting my children. Seeing your reminded me, my dd occasionally walks around like this . Saying I'm a MAYer. Several CMs have asked about her button. She looks at them like are you just not cool, don't you know about the MAYers.

My ds was so pumped when he spotted you coming off the train in Toontown. It reallly made his day.

Not sure if you noticed but dd is the ultimate nerdy tourist, fanny pack, lanyard, MAYer button, flip up sunglasses, etc. She now has a tink pin on her lanyard. A CM in EPCOT, asked her why she didn't have more pins. She said because they are expensive and mom won't buy me any. Well she forgot to say because I lose them then I cry. So now we don't buy them, we don't lose them, and we don't back track 3 rides looking for a pin we never find and no one cries. So the CM gave me the look and said, well, I can fix this and gives the poor child a pin. Amazingly enough, he gave it to her yesterday and she still has it.

Jo, I am so glad your dh wants to come back. That is so exciting. I always cry when we leave WDW. I am usually a little depressed when we get back home.

Yesterday, I saw the envelope of doom on someone's door here at the resort. I could feel a little of that sad feeling because I know our envelope is coming soon.

Alfredo's tonight! Our last time there, although dh said, I can always take you to the one in Italy! I just love that man!

OK~tomorrow night, around 10:30, I will be on my way to THE WORLD!!!
I can barely sleep at all this week I am so excited! This is my first trip there! We should be arriving sometime between 10AM and noon on Sat, 18th. Anyone else checking in that day?

I have not been on here very long, and missed the "green button" stuff, but if I see one, I may into myself

Any last minute tips anyone wants to share with a first~timer???

Well, didn't see any other DIS'ers but we had a great time. Had a little trouble finding a few places to eat (we only had one ADR) but I am chalking that one up to a holiday weekend and having to eat early because of the baby. We usually are the ones saying "give us your latest ADRs."
Some friends came up to meet us on Saturday and we spent the day at EPCOT. It was so cute seeing the baby on Journey into Imagination (the only ride we rode that day). DS also decided to roll over for the first time ever while we were there....at a baby changing station....in the American Pavillion restroom! LOL Luckily I had my camera
Mother's Day Brunch was very good! Better than last year even! DH got me the most beautiful pendant over at Japan. He picked 2 pearls and got them put on a gold mother/baby pendant. So beautiful! That night DH and I got to have dinner by ourselves. We called up Disney Dining and ended up with ressies at California Grill. I thought it was really nice and the food was good but a little overpriced (even for disney).

The only weird thing I saw was this man SCREAMING at this woman for smoking outside the smoking section. *Not wanting to start a smoking section bla bla debate, this is just something I saw that I think both parties involved were in the wrong* He was calling her all kinds of names and saying that she was worse than a terrorist and that he was going to get her kicked out, etc. Now, I don't think the woman should have been smoking where she was but she was far away from everyone in the surrounding area. Also, I am sure that had he said something without screaming, or had just simply asked a CM to say something, the woman would have either put out the cigarette or walk to the smoking section. It was awful. And then he passed by all of us sitting down with strollers who didn't want to be in the shop (at Japan) yelling that she was killing our kids. At the time I had just gotten DS to sleep and all I wanted to tell that man was to be quiet because him waking up my kid would be worse right then (again, this woman was maybe 50+ feet away from anyone and there was no wind in the area- no smoke was getting to us).

We went to Typhoon Lagoon, it was awesome!
Then took a 1 hour bus ride over to Fort Wildnerness...
Remind self to Rent a Car next time..... lol
Anyways, Hoop Dee Doo was Awesome!! Great show, Great food!
And thats the first dinner for us that was actually good!

Well tomorrow is our last day here at Pop!
Our flight leaves for good ol North Carolina tomorrow night!
So we are hanging out all day tomorrow at Pop!
Bus leaves at 3:30 for the airport...

Pop Century was Great!!

Just jumping in to say it was a great trip! If anyone is worried about the weather, don't be.. the forcast was for rain everyday and I saw NONE

Well it's Day 7 and we are sitting here at Orlando Airport waiting on our plane to go home..... Our flight leaves at six thirty pm

We chilled by the pool all day at Pop before we left....
We loved Pop Century and plan to come back in a few years.....

It's was nice meeting all the Mayer's that we met!
We hope you all have the best vacation ever!
I'll start working on our trip report and pics!
Looking forward to reading everyone elses......
