What specific souveneirs are you planning to get at Disney?

We always come home with waayyyy to much stuff but thats what happens when shopaholics go on vacation :cutie:

ME:
Mickey Head cereal bowls
Monorail for the Christmas Tree
Perfume from the World showcase. Yes I know I could get it here but everything is more special when it comes from DISNEY WORLD! I really need a new scent. I am thinking Acqua di Parma or Chanels Coco Mademoiselle.

Dh:
He always gets a soccer jersey form the world showcase.
He also said he wants to get Pal Mickey a safari outfit. Dork!!

DD:
I want to get her a princess Minnie from the store at Toontown Fair.
I was also thinking about a My Disney girl doll. She will end up with a TON of stuff I'm sure :)

Has anyone NOT been seated by their children on their flights??? there are 3 adults travelling with 2 kids on saturday in our group and there has to be a chance that they will be with one of us right!?! i mean they wouldn't make my 1 yr old sit alone or my 2 yr old?? right?? those crazy people on the transportation board get all worked up about it and i don't want to be one of those KWIM?

Monorail for the Christmas Tree

BEWARE the box is super bulky! DH owns 2 of them and one year we had to take it out of the box to get it to fit in the luggage and then the 2nd one, we just shipped home! (it's better that way since we didn't have to pay tax then!

I like to buy a lot of jewelry and i'm planning on buying ALOT of charms for my business and then i want some kitchenware stuff.

DH wants monorail accessories and he loves T-shirts!

DD will most likely get an ariel dress and accessories and stuff like that!

DS will get a new pair of gym shoes, some shirts, and lots ot Toy Story stuff :)

That we would definately ship!

Last year we bought the Cinderella castle playset, a BIG snowglobe, ornaments and some other odds and ends all together and payed like $15 dollars to get it all shipped together. And saved tax I think!
It is such a great deal and they guarantee everything not to be damaged.

It was so exciting when everything was delivered - all those Disney boxes!

yUP! it's fun getting them! we bought the tree of life andthe HO scale MK train and some other stuff and you are right, if the price is high enough, you will def. save money by shipping as opposed to paying tax!!

This year we have our eyes on some end tables from the Art of Disney Store. They have one that has Cinderellas Castle on it, one that has Tink and one that has Mickey! we are debating on if we would get matching or just get one or who knows!

Don't worry. Your flying SouthWest right?
They don't have assigned seating. BUT since you are traveling with small kids you get to preboard. Just get on the preboard line early b/c it can get long since some people think their 12 year olds are considered "young children "
What I would do is as soon as you board have your dh and your dad go and claim your seats and you deal with getting the kids out of their strollers. Or vice versa :upsidedow

yeah this what we are aiming for, but it's give or take with Southwest, sometimes 90% of the flight has small kids, so they don't let us preboard! YIKES! so i have to make sure i get an A boarding pass, and i should be good to go!!! otherwise as soon as DS is buckled into his carseat on the plane, i'm sure whoever is sitting next to him will give up their seat RIGHT AWAY!! :lmao:

Oh and no airline would EVER make a one or 2 year old sit alone! Even without assigned seating!

If by some unlikely chance there are not at least 3 seats together for you and your kids someone WILL get up and change seats for you.
