Ok I need some help.

So Meghan who will be 2 next month has been alittle off. First the fever, she seems healthy now. But for the past couple of days she has had the WORST Temper Tantrums. She is usually very easy and will cry then stop and be fine. But now she is crying nonstop for like an hour. She doesnt have a runny nose or anything like that. I checked her mouth and I dont see any teeth. I am sooo confused. Any ideas or suggestions. Isabelle has temper tantrums but not like this. That is why I thought she was sick but when she does stop crying, it is like nothing happened. I just hope she doesnt do this in Disney.

Could it be her ears? Maybe her throat?

My Belle was just awful when she was almost two. DD and DS were never, ever bad once they were out of the newborn stage. Belle, however was a different story. One day, I scheduled an appointment with her Ped, walked in and handed her to him and said "There is something terrible wrong with her. Fix it. Now."

And so he checked her over for an hour, smiled at me, handed her back and said "jodi, it's her disposition. There is nothing wrong with her except that she has a personality to go along with her red hair."

Could be Meghan is coming into the two's and "finding herself".

I just remembered Belle throwing tantrums at my feet, over nothing. I would step over her and ignore it. I tried telling her the whole "We don't act this way, blah, blah ". Never fazed her, so I just ignored it.

Most of the time she would follow me wherever I was going and try it again. We'd walk circles around the house with her doing it.

She is still rotten to the core, however.

Just a thought....little ones don't have a 'word' for everything...(bodyparts)
so ask her to point to the hurt....don't say "where does it hurt" just baby point to the owie...show mommy what's hurting you? is it making you cry...

Huggie - sorry you are having a hard time with DD. I hope nothing's wrong with her. Could just be coming into her personality, like Jo said. My boys are total opposites! My oldest was so bad at that age and my youngest was an angel.
