My father is doing great and depending on how tonite goes, he can go home tomorrow!!

HOwever, he has to go in for a stress test in 3 weeks. So there is a lot stil going on, but i really appreciate you all thinking of us

I'm really tired, so i think i'm going to bed now

Well after we get into the car, my dd says to me, "Mommy, why did you tell Ms.__ that our trip is May 4 and we don't leave until May 7?"

So in the end, DD won't need to be in therapy, well - at least not for missing her kindergarten pictures.....

Love this, I would have done the same thing!!!! I would never move a vacation for a picture.... just think, she could have worn her cap and gown outside the castle and had a picture that nobody else in her class would have had!

Hi all,

I read this thread a lot, (I don't post much) so I feel like I know the "regulars" a bit. I thought you guys might find this a little funny (rather than the "disturbing" that my friend and sister told me).

My dd is 5 and is graduating from Kindergarten this year. DH and I knew the ceremony was going to be in June, so we felt pretty confident about scheduling our WDW trip for early May. Well today I go to pick up DD and her teacher tells me that the graduation pictures will be taken on May 4. Well I immediately told her, we're going to WDW she won't be here for it and in my mind, I was thinking -- now how am I going to explain to my teen and later adult daughter why she was absent from her kindergarten pix and why she doesn't have a cap and gown pic, gonna be lots of therapy bills for this one.....

The funny (or sad according to my dsis) was that it just never occurred to me that we would do anything to adjust our trip -- I mean it's WDW right?!! lol She's gonna be at the graduation ceremony in June, right?!!! I mean we can go to a photographer and have her take some cap and gown pics, right?!!!

on May 18th I will be heading to AK early since i have ADR for Breakfastasaurus at 9 am then we'll be at the park til about 3 pm since we really don't do the whole animal thing. but we'll see then the rest of the day we will be enjoying the resort unless I do another ADR somewhere i still have 1 left from my DDP. any recomendations?????

Oh darn! We have ressies at Donald's on May 18 at 8 a.m. so we will just miss you! Well, if you happen to see a tall, long-haired brunette carrying a lime green baggallini with a yellow Mayer button it, come say hello!

May 18th. . . . . We will be going to AK at opening and DS 8 and I will be running for EE to ride before the line gets enormous!! Then meeting up with DH & DS 5 to ride Dinosaur. Then to our breakfast at Donalds Restaurantosauras at 10:00, where I will look for Mari if she hasn't left yet.
Then staying at AK until 1 or 2. Then back to POFQ to rest awhile and get ready for dinner at Chef Mickey's. Then hoping on the monorail and taking a quick tour of the monorail line deluxe resorts. And when we stop at the Poly I will be wondering around saying - JC Whhhheeeeeeerrrrrrrreeeeeeee aaarrrreeeee yyyyyyooooooooooouuuuuuuuu!!!!!

Arrrrghhh! I'm going to miss you too! I'm just going to have to make myself extra visibie in the AK that day!
