MAY 12th-19th!! THESE ARE THE MAYS OF OUR LIVES! Part 2

May 18th.....our last full day at the World (I won't be sad....no I won't)
Breakfast at 'Ohana's and then a trip over to the MK and a trip to Downtown Disney (got to shop) then back to the resort.....listing for the call of the wild bunch ....known as the MOMF2DISNEYBOYS... Our last dinner at WDW will be at the Kona Cafe....where the talk at the table will be all about the fun we have had and the planning of our next trip...

one month today will be our first full day at WDW. I am thinking AK in the am. head back to resort for a quick break and then head over to MK area since we have dinner ressies at Kona (first time eating there and cannot wait....salivating at just the thought of the desert menu!!)

I was just talking to my dd7 about changing it up the next time we go to disney (have to talk like it is a far of trip...shhh) and instead of doing the autograph book (we have a million of those) we could do the penny press. She was really excited about it. I have seen the books at many of the gift shops so I figure we'll just pick one up our first day.

Now the wait continues.

PS....does anyone have a good scavenger hunt idea for me to do with my girls (7 (reads) & 4 (does not read yet))? I am thinking that is how I am going to get them into the car to head off to the airport. don't know if I want them to know once they get into the car or prolong it for when we pull up to the airport (it is a quick 25 minute drive). Any ideas would be great.

This time next month, I will be at MGM Studios watching my DH geek out at everything and anything Star Wars. We'll also be having dinner at the Brown Derby and seeing Fantasmic that night.

So today is the last day we can play our little game.

on May 18th I will be heading to AK early since i have ADR for Breakfastasaurus at 9 am then we'll be at the park til about 3 pm since we really don't do the whole animal thing. but we'll see then the rest of the day we will be enjoying the resort unless I do another ADR somewhere i still have 1 left from my DDP. any recomendations?????

So I tried last night to get a dinner reservation for the night of May 18th and had a hard time. The earliest reservations I could get were at 8:50pm, which unfortunately doesnt work for us as a family.
Ohana, Whispering Canyon and Kona is where I tried, because we were looking for a buffet (apparently all the Mayers are eating there that night. ). We did finally get one at Cape May at the Beach Club, which worked because then we can walk back to Epcot and catch the bus from there, as well as maybe take advantage of the epcot extra hours that night.

Lake you can always change your ADR's....when you get to your resort check with the resort tour/concierge desk...Ask if they can check on the (place) you would like the ADR to be at....and also ask if they would be so kind as to call (the restaurant) not the ADR line...there are always cancellations and calling direct (not the ADR line) sometimes helps get you into the place you would like to eat at....

May 18th.... we will be at MK at opening and we will be there until late afternoon. Back to the Poly for some pool time and the dinner at Ohanas. If dd feels up to it we will meet our friends at Epcot for EMH.
