Sometimes, I really wished there was something like 'Bathroom Monkey in a Box' (Just like the SNL skit). You open up the box and out comes a helpful little monkey who will happily take care of all your cleaning needs for the cost of just a few bananas.

Yes, I definitely need a monkey maid.

And on another note: this time next month I'll be getting ready to land at MCO. Woot!

I can tell you where I won't be - Sitting here in a sweater by the heater trying to keep warm!!!!!

Let's see. . . May 16th - We are going to spend the morning at the resort, probably visit the pool a bit, have lunch at the food court, then head to MK around 1:00 and stay until closing and watch Wishes!! I can't wait!!

disney dollars can be bought at a disney store- they can be used a wdw as fun spending money for the kids.
(kind of like monopoly money - only real currancy at wdw and disney stores)

Ok, I feel like I'm on General Hospital when the Cassadine's took over and had that weather machine....Anyone old enough to remember that??

It is SO cold here and snowing. YUCK!!! Didn't Mother Nature get the memo that it's the middle of April?

Just got home from work, and a lovely luncheon for Teacher Appreciation Week at the preschool I teach at. Very nice. We all got some sort of outdoor plant which is totally going to die because you can't plant things in the freakin' snow!

Let's see, where will we be on May 16? We'll be having a leisurely breakfast, and then heading to Epcot. We'll then be heading over to the WL for dinner at the WCC at 6pm. After that, it's up in the air...depends on what the kids are up for!

okay i have another question for you.

if you rent a fridge from disney for your room at pop, do you have to rent it for your full week stay, or can you do it for one or two nights only.

the reason i ask is. my sil arrives before we do at wdw by a day or two.
i have a fridge for my room, and after we arrive they plan on sharing ours. so can she rent a fridge for her romm for just one night, then use ours the rest of the time as we will have adjoining /connecting rooms.

On May 16th, it will be my wife's birthday. We are going to go to MGM and Fantasmic. I have mulled around the idea of doing the Fantasmic dinning thing. You get preferred seating at the show is that the deal? We have some friends with us that day too.

I want to do something special for my wife, but I don't have any ideas yet.

It can be rented for as many nights as you would like, not necessary for length of stay

We are doing the Fantasmic dinner package on the 17th at Hollywood & Vine. You may want to consider doing the package at one of the other 2 restaurant choices, they are probably nicer places. We are doing H&V because of the kids and it's a buffet!
I don't think the seating is "preferred" at Fantasmic, it's more of guaranteed. I guess the stadium can get filled up quite quickly on a busy night.

Ok, after conferring with Michelle about the postcard vs. door list being valid submissions to the contest we have come to a decision.

We have decided to separate the two and give two different prizes!

Here is the deal:

With the postcards, your goal is to being wearing your tag or button on your person, backpack, camera bag, etc. so that other Mayers can find and identify. You are to meet face to face and get their signatures on the postcard. Be sure to get everyone in that Mayer family or group to sign the card, including the kids - baby's included! Use an "X" by the parents name so that we can count the baby. Be sure to always wear your , at the airport, hotel resorts, restaurants, and especially the parks.

With the door list, you goal is to gather most signatures of Mayers who see your door and gather their signatures. They have to visit your door, you can't remove your door list and take it to the parks, or the pool, etc. You can tell your Mayer friends where your room is so that they can sign your list.

After your vacation is over, scan your postcard or take a digital picture of it and we will see who has the most names.

There will be prizes for both winners!

I plan to wear my button on my person or purse/backpack at all times when out and about except one place -- Victoria & Albert's. I just wouldn't feel right being all dressed up and wearing the button there. I also don't think I could get the DH to wear his either on that occasion. He's got a new suit (thank you Nordstrom rack!) he'll want to show off and I don't think he'll want to put pin holes in it just yet.
