On your first trip that would do...after TOT, R'nR and Startours....you could be out of there...it is a small park
JC

Ok..I do want to see Fantasmic because I want to see what is different between WDW's and DL's shows. I do want to hit RnR and ToT first before they get crowded.

Sulley....I'm duly impressed...WOW! all those resorts in that amount of time...so maybe I should try this... I do want to see the other resorts and I love Disney's transportation...
JC

Here's how we did it....

Started at SSR (but could really start at any resort), rode bus to MGM, hopped on Friendship boat to BW, walked around BW area and over to BC/YC. Rode bus from BC/YC to MK, got on bus from MK to WL, walked around WL, rode boat to CR, went up, caught monorail around to GF.

Had we not had an ADR for dinner, we probably would have gotten off at Poly and walked around some. We started at about 12:30 from SSR and got to GF around 4:00. After dinner we rode monorail around to TTC, switched to the Epcot one and rode round trip around Epcot, at TTC, rode Ferry back to MK and hopped the bus back to SSR.

Here is a thought that I had. I just looked over the map of MGM and noticed that it is not that large of a park. Can a person spend a half a day there and get their fill? What do you recommend?

I'll admit that I have Disney A.D.D., I can rarely spend more than about 4 hours in any one park without doing something else. In MGM, I really liked the The Great Movie Ride, The Magic of Disney Animation, Beauty and the Beast, and WWTBAM:PI, which isn't there anymore. But....I am not a ride person (I'm a big chicken), ToT, RnR, and Star Tours hold no appeal whatsoever to me.

15 DAYS! 15 days!! 15 days! 15 days!!!

I'm gonna wear myself out before it even gets here!

Must go shopping today...

Found a bathing suit at H&M last Friday. I know I'm a bit late to the bathing suit discussion. It's like me to be late to just about everything.:goodvibes

good morning!

packing is going very well here.
i want to leave tomorrow!

Our family is getting prepeared and counting down the days.

DS only has 12 days left of school until our trip, and DH only 13 days left of his job. He gave three weeks notice and will start his fabulous new position the two days after we return from WDW. he is extremely happy and excited.

DD is learning all about the disney princesses and characters by watching some DVD's and listening to the CD's I made of disney music, but I don't really think she is understanding everything that is about to happen.

This will be the first plane trip for DD, and the first one DS will remember. Between his birth and his first birthday he did a lot of plane travelling. I can't wait to see how he likes it.

I think I have everything I need for the trip, but I have a sinking feeling that I'm forgetting something. Good thing there is 18 days to finish packing and maybe I'll figure out what that is.

have a happy day everyone:goodvibes

Good Morning everyone!! :coffee:

Seacrest- Congrats on 200:woohoo: :woohoo:

Elly- Congrats on 250:woohoo: :woohoo:

I am so tired tonight. It doesnt help when my kids refuse to sleep past 6am. UGH:coffee:

So as far as the parks and getting there for opening. We always get there early. Since we are early risers. Last year we caught every opening.

I think I am a teenager today:banana: :dance3: :dance3: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I think this weekend I will start to lay out all the clothes to get an idea of what I am bringing. I like to wait until the last minute to pack so my doggies don't freak out. I am excited about the trip but I cannot stand leaving my dogs. I cry everytime I leave them for more than one day. :sad2: :sad2:

Gotta start the day, get my butt in gear and get the girls fed and dressed for school.

Jo- Your not late on the bathing suit discussion. I havent even looked. I got 2 last year and I think I will just bring them. I tried them on and they fit fine. I want to drop some more weight before getting another one. What color is the bathing suit?

Grrrr....I don't even want to go there with the bathing suit shopping!!:headache:

I spent 1/2 a day Sunday looking for a decent suit. I must have tried on 20 suits. :sad2: My problem is my top is 2 sizes smaller than my bottom!! I can't wear anything that rides on your hips either, because if I bend over...well....there is sure to be crack showing!:lmao: Oh, and I must have a skirt-tini. Or a swim mini as they call them in Lands End.

I'm generally a Lands End type of girl, but today I'm going out to L.L. Bean to see if they have a suit I saw on-line in their store. Wish me luck....if that one doesn't make the cut, then I'll have to stick with my old suit:confused3

We've eaten there twice and really like it. However, we've only ever had sandwiches and burgers. They have great milkshakes too! My kids love it there...they usually sit in the front of the car, and DH and I sit in the back. It's kind of like a date for us! It had to be our most relaxing meal of our trip!! Give it a try. I've learned that I can't listen to everyone's reviews because the opinions are all so varied!

Congrats to all you TEEN-MAY-agers!!!!

Here's one dancing banana dude for you...

Huggie-

The suit is cream colored with black flowers on it. A little glam with some sequins strategically placed. It's me.

Hey Marcy! I have the same issues you have. I have found that I like the suits that you buy the bottom and top separate. Last season I found a couple of bottoms at Dillard's that had nice seat coverage. I think I bought them in every color. I bought a few tops at Dillard's as well but my favorite tops were from Target. I just kept finding tops at Target for like $14 that I just loved. The bottoms at Target didn't quite cover everything I wanted covered.

Hope this helps!

We go for the burgers and shakes there. We really like it.

Good Morning!

Let's see. . . what did I miss???

When we are going to the parks in the morning we do definitley go at opening. But we also do schedule 2 days to sleep in and spend time at the resort and then head to the parks later. We could never do a park from open to close!!

Seacrest - Last time we went to MGM we went at opening - 9:00 and we were done by 3:00. It's a great park (probably our second favorite to MK) but it is doable in half a day. This time we want to see Fantasmic, so this is going to be one of our sleep in days and we will head to MGM around 1:00 or so and stay for Fantasmic!

Oh - and I am a TeenMAYer today!! :woohoo: 19 days!!
