Two more haircuts? A piece? or one for each of you? Do you really cut your hair every week?! That would certainly make up for the fact that I haven't really cut mine in nearly 4 years!!! :rotfl2:

:tigger:
Erik

It's every 3 weeks for us. When you put it in the 4 years since your last haircut perspective, I guess that does seem like a lot, but if I DON'T get it cut that often, I start to feel like I should be singing what Scott posted. :hippie:

The UPS truck stopped in front of my house today, and I heard the buzzing and whirr of the engine, looked out the window, saw it was the UPS truck, literally opened my door and waited expectantly for him to hop out of the truck and hand me my docs. I stood there, my heart beating with excitement, holding Scooby in my arms so he wouldn't run out the door, wriggling and writhing in my hands trying to escape. After about 2 minutes, the driver never emerged, and the truck went on it's way. Me, standing alone at the door, document-less.

Maybe tomorrow. :rolleyes1

My TA called DCL today and they did ship our cruise docs to her, and she should have them in her hand when she returns from Calif on Monday and then they will go out to us. Not going to worry about it. I have already printed out everything I can online so we are good to go.

Off to bed now since tomorrow is work, costumes and then parent meeting for students taking scuba diving lessons...(note to self, will scuba lessons make it harder to drown child the next time she makes me wonder what in the world I was thinking when I thought a baby would be a good idea???)

AAaawwww, dang. I could see that happening to me. (Mine have not come either :guilty: )
I love your dog's name "Scooby". I always wanted to name a dog Scooby (just have never had the right kind of dog I guess?) And if I ever had a cat, Toonces.

Hope we get our docs out here in the west soon!

Good evening all you busy posters. I was out all day teaching a mob of 5th and 6th graders, then hours sitting in traffic. I've had b'day guests all weekend (not a good time for house guests!) I think I successfully bored them to tears with all of my cruise talk. :rotfl2:

Happy b'day to Jamie,
I have a list of celebrations - will send it tomorrow after noon to Debbie and Linda.
Also, Linda we have the book bag at our door 6570.

Also, will update the tea with Wendy list.

I know your pain, Chris. Waiting when that darn truck pulls up.

Great story about the shirts, Erik.

Hadley, sending some sun,but not much your way. We'll be terribly pale by the time we get to Florida. We were wondering all day about the marathoners.

Very sad about the school shooting. I had a lot of friends who went there.

Nothing in the mail except a very cool AKL DVC advert.

Kissimmie, Richard,.... WOW that is way too KEWL, you da man....

It has been years since I have used Delorme stuff.

What are you using for start and end points?

Did you have to write much code???

DCL will have to put that on the Dumbo Tron!!!!

Richard--Man, I don't even know what to do with that, but it looks cool.

Chris--We've done that same thing with UPS trucks a couple of times while waiting for something;) --it is so much sadder to NOT get your anxiously awaited item when you get that extra glimmer of hope from the big brown truck pulling up.

Cynthia/Cupcake--I just PMd you. Please let me know if you do not get it as I think you did not get a PM I sent you last week. Thanks:)

Kelly--looking forward to that sun. It's currently still pouring rain here. But the wind has ceased blowing, so things are looking up:thumbsup2

Hoping to get to the party supply store for David's grass skirt today. Al you longer-cruise experienced ones, what else should I be purchasing which I am likely to forgert?

I sent my notes to you in a PM. Hope it helps!
(again big THANKS to cquick :teacher: for her notes on how to make one!)
:rolleyes1 AWWW! thanks!

HEY! KISSIMMEE! that midpoint calculator is fantastic. I don't understand a word of it, but who cares? So long as you do! :surfweb: :surfweb:

How delightful.....I think the last several phrases of that read like a haiku :rotfl:

Thank you! I got them. They will be a great help. Now to find the time to sew. :rolleyes1

Kelly - You mentioned a book bag. Does this have anyting to do with a book exchange? Dh is interested in that. More information would be greatly appreaciated.

Have a great day, everyone. And welcome to all the new fokes!

Lori

Hadley---You and Rio better WATCH OUT!!! Jason's Euchre classes began earlier this week and he's picking it up pretty quick! (Of course he has to...because I already warned him that the first time he loses us a game I'm dumpin' his sorry behind and taking Rio as my new Euchre partner! :thumbsup2 )

:tigger:
Erik

Well, we have broken Rio of the tendancy to trump his partner's ace:thumbsup2 We'll defintly have to take you two on (Hmm can Rio and Erik get through an entire game of Euchre without breaking into HSM songs? Perhaps Jaosn and I will be dropping the two of you:rotfl: )

Yes, currently there will be an ugly yellow bag from the Poway cycling tour hanging outside of our room for the book exchange. (I tried to pick a couple of bags that we wouldn't miss if it was stolen.)

Through an entire game of Euchre without a HSM song? :rotfl: Oh, Hadley, you poor dear....you have no idea....I can't get through a shower or a MEAL without a HSM song....there's no WAY I could get a whole game of Euchre...I can see it now....

....I mean every time someone forgets to follow suit you'd HAVE to break into "NO NO NO...STICK TO THE STUFF YOU KNOW..." (as an allusion to not breaking form and changing suits)....and if ever someone DID trump their partner's ace you'd have to respond with "GETCHA HEAD IN THE GAME".....and if went alone and took all 5 tricks, safely securing my team 4 points, I'd just have to go with "WE'RE SOARIN', FLYIN', THERE'S NOT A STAR IN HEAVEN THAT WE CAN'T REACH.."....and of course if Rio and I DID start playing together and did well as a team...we'd have to, as a duet, break into "THIS COULD BE THE START OF SOMETHING NEW" fading directly into "I'VE NEVER HAD SOMEONE AS GOOD FOR ME AS YOU...SO LONELY BEFORE...I FINALLY FOUND WHAT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR" and then we'd jump up and break into the infamous jazz squares! :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

WOW Richard!!!

I knew they was a good reason to talk you into this cruise!!!

How cool. I can't understand it, but I love it!!!

All I'm doing in plotting points on a map using longitude and latitude.:sad2:

Amazing!

Air is all booked now. We arrive Orlando late on the 9th, so we will be able to attend Scott and Lynn's wine event. Oh, yeah, and cheese. Two adults, three kids.

Have a great day!

Lori

Lori, I have you on the list for the wine and oh, yeah, cheese party.

Lynn :eeyore:
