I meant we should close the list by March 15th not May.
Hi Keri Jo welcome to the group! If you type fish extender in your browser it will give you a ton of information on what the whole fish extender fun is all about. You will need to make or purchase a fish extender for your fish extender gifts. Basically every stateroom that signs up, agrees to participate in a gift exchange. Each stateroom decides how to distribute the gifts, so it could be individual gifts to each person in each stateroom, one gift per stateroom, etc. Gifts are usually inexpensive and can be made (if you are crafty) or purchased. If you search fish extender gifts you can get an idea of what others have given out or received. We have not assigned particular dates of when gifts should be given out but typically you will deliver your gifts to each stateroom by the afternoon before our last cruise day.We would also like to join in the fish extender fun! Athough this is our first time and we are not sure what it's all about, I want my lil guy to get the most out of this trip!

I have posted the list of all our current participants in a previous post (minus your room, will add this shortly). If you don't mind please let me know your names and age of the child. Not a big deal but this could help others who may want to personalize gifts. If you have trouble opening the attachment let me know.

Keri Jo - for what it is worth, we are doing Epcot on Sunday, and are fond of many of the wines in Germany and Italy. I had read, on another blog, we could bring wine w/ us, as long as sealed and in carry on bag. So we did called DCL to confirm that fact, and yes we can; also, I do think you can bring food on, but I know you are not allowed to take fruit an opened food off of the ship. there are signs trash cans and yes, sniffing dogs as you exit the ship and into terminal for your luggage Best bet, call DCL.I came up with a question! Has anyone done the fish extender before? If so, how did you bring these gifts on board? I have been reading the rules of the ship and not sure what to do if the fish extender gift is for example food or drinks. Do they allow this? Do we have to unpackage our sweet packages to put those items on our carry on? Thanks, if anyone happens to know![]()

Hi Keri Jo. I'm not sure but will see if I can find out. I know in the past people have received chocolates, liquor and other items in small amounts as fish extender gifts. Let me do a bit of research to see if I can find out.I came up with a question! Has anyone done the fish extender before? If so, how did you bring these gifts on board?
