As said before, there are many things we will agree to disagree about. Politics is one of many things that we will find a wide array of opinions about in this. Our President's academic credentials will show that he was not left behind. My intent here is not to start an argument or even discussion, but just to make everyone aware that there are many and diverse opinions on the DIS. John1 and I are very good friends who are able to disagree and still love each other. What we do share is a love of Disney and an understanding that still being a kid at heart is not only ok, but a good thing.

Depending of the airline, number of bags. All airlines charge extra for bags over 50 lbs. Cost me $185.00 to get bags home from Hawaii. Bought too much stuff.

Birkner, aren't you medallion level with any of the airlines? We get 75 pnds cause DH is a Delta medallion... It helps a lot!

I flew United from Honolulu and don't have the status to get 75 lbs. Have enough miles to upgrade but never enough on one airline in a year to get the status. However, do fly SWA a lot and love their fly 3 get 1 free deals. I fly based on the best fare, not the FF miles so am member of many FF clubs.

I have NEVER seen the prices drop on a specialty cruise. They might stall and not go any higher, or they might offer incentives to new bookings (which has created problems because people who have previously booked demand the same incentives), but if they dropped the price, way too many people would cancel and rebook to get the lower price.

I think your best bet is to get your ressie in as soon as possible.

Hmmmm . . . is a double dip a specialty cruise?

The priced dropped pretty big on our December 9th DD cruise, in fact many rebooked at the lower rate in GTY 12 cabins.

OMG, I think I am going to freak...I just now realized that we will have luggage restrictions on the airline coming home.......can you tell we don't fly much?

What the heck am I going to do? Is there a limit on number of bags or just weight?

On Air Tran it was 2 bags each, 50lb limit. We blew by the 50lb limit on the way home in December and had to pay $25 for one bag that was over.

I get along with Angie because I also have to get along with my DW . . . we are the picture of America family . . . split right down the middle on party afiliation and loyalty. We really only do not talk politics once every four years.

We're on the eastbound repo Med cruise and the prices dropped $1000 per catagory a couple of months ago because they are letting kids cruise for about $200.

DH was born in Warren. His mom now lives in Wilmington. DH was sad about the game as well.

Now we are happy for the BEARS!!!! I was born and raised in Chicago. My grandfather was part of the Daley Machine. Can't get more Demo than that. Granddad is rolling in his grave over DH's party affiliation.
