Whew! Just caught up...that's what I get for being gone all day. Really people, we need to tone down all this chatter! :rotfl:

Welcome to all the new people...this is great, we're going to have a great, big, fun group.

Ok, off to bed for me. I'm scared to long on to my computer tomorrow because all the east coast people will have had 3 whole extra posting hours before I can get online! Probably will have 20 pages to catch up on!

Night all....

Oh no! Now we might have to get one of those too.

Julie

I'm not sure where the original email about the Rose Regale surfaced but it is one of our favorites too!

We learned about it on the 2005 EB Panama Canal ship from the wonderful Michael Jordan, General Manager and Master Sommelier for the Napa Rose in DL.

We own a wine shop in Benicia, CA and online and it is one of our favorites to tell people about. We ship tons of it around the country. You can view it at www.winemiles.com

Pairs amazingly with chocolate or great on it's own. It is also only 8% alcohol so is perfect after a meal with other wines (or tee many martoonies!)

We will once again ship many good wines ahead to have on the ship! There wine list has also improved amazingly and there were many great wines to choose from on the reserve wine list. (A little known fact, all of the great wines on the reserve list in Palo are also available in the restaurants if you request them.) Your wine can also follow you from night to night if you don't finish it. (Not usually a problem...)

Hey, for all you crocs lovers, you need to make sure you get some Jibbitz to personalize your crocs!!! They're WAY cute and have tons of Disney characters (even JACK SPARROW'S initials)...for adults and kids alike!!!

I was directed to this thread as I am booked on the May 08 repo cruise. I will be sailing with my (then) 14 year old son. I am a single mom and hope to meet some friends before i go or I will be a loner hiding in a book on deck.

I am in my early 40's and my boy will be 14. He is hoping for plenty of teens his age when we go. We last went when we was 9 and 10 so it will be different but we both want the Disney Cruise experience one more time. The way I see it is I am getting 4 cruises in one.... Disney Cruise, Southern Caribbean, Panama canal and Mexico.... It helps me justify the price :cool1:

You came on over! I'm glad you did....you'll find this is a chatty group, and lots of fun. Well, I said I was going to go to bed two posts ago so I guess I should follow through on that plan....

Welcome to the group!

Good morning from the UK. Lovely day here but very cold.

Can anybody tell me how to stop thinking about this cruise all the time? There are 15 months to go - I will be worn out! I was awake in the night worrying about getting a rental car at the port in LA - for goodness sake!!:rotfl2:

I also have a trip to Disney to plan for December and it has taken back place to the cruise. Help:eek:

Good Morning!

-4 here today, -23 with the windchill, and all schools are closed!

:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: What a funny story! Making memories, that's what it is all about! :thumbsup2

Wow I finally decide to read up and jump into this thread and I am already being talked about! :rotfl: I am a OCD planner as well so this should be lots of fun hanging out here a couple times a day to catch up and add more things to my to do list. Call me crazy but I just had to buy a fish extender on ebay since you guys had pictures posted. That crossed one thing off my list. Then I read a few more pages of posts and added like ten more.

Oh and hey to everyone in the Northern Cali area! Me too Me too

Good morning, peeps

Tucson checking in going to be mid 70's and sunny

Yes, I've had a few dreams already about this cruise, it's going to be a long 15 months.

Just wondering if anyone who is reading this might remember my daughter, Rachel, and myself(Julie) from the first May crossing??? She was 10 but, I was still old . Anyway, we weren't with your group but, we sure did meet a whole nice bunch of ya

CRUD, CRUD, CRUD!!! No time to catch up with everything posted since I went to bed, but just have to vent....it stayed at 7 below all night and my pipes froze! This sucks!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome! Be sure and take a look at page one. There is a password protected site where the kids can all get to know each other. Soon we will have one for all the important and personal information for all of us. Just keep an eye on page one for the link or who to PM to get the password.

Ok, I have been playing with a website design, since I signed up on this thread, it is very simple, will be a place for each family to post a picture and short blurb about themselves, host a roll call (possibly with e-mails added to it,) A plans/event page and welcome/recent news page. It would have a sign-in name and password, to protect anyones private info (photos, home town, e-mails etc.)

I would think that between Laura and I we can manage to get all the info into one contained space and then we can party on this meet thread without anyone feeling they have to slog through every single post to keep up to date.

What do you all think?

Pj

(Bananaman, i don't want to hear from you, lol)

He is, but I'm too old and we live too far apart. And we didn't stay in touch. But he sure made my trip a tad bit more enjoyable! ;)

He is adorable! My my, what a great way to raise the bar on how enjoyable a trip can be...eh?

Thanks for sharing!

You can count on me, I don´t drink, I say enough dumb things as it is already, but will love to hang out with you guys.

Julie

Oh, thank you, Julie...really I was getting nervous with the responsibility and afraid the 2DOD club would grow to an unmanageable number!:)

she's a "new" character. She was in the pirate and princess parade...and some CM's were telling me that she was rumored to be in the Judge's tent meet and greet as the mystery guest.

II am not that girl. I want a t-shirt and a pair of cotton shorts. That's it. I am forced to wear pants at night, but I don't want to. They would throw all my stuff away if they saw my vacation clothes. Slobs r us.

Amen, sistah! (Btw, is there a dress code for the 2DOD club??)

Carolyn

about the cruise. He'll get to meet clynne and the kids this weekend too. I KNOW Miss C and the kids will impress him!!

No pressure to live up to that...We'll have to do a crash etiquette course and practice our stimulating conversation starters...We only have a week!!
