I can't imagine packing a tru ball gown! Wow! I am looking online though, there are some gorgeous ones!

I'm not V but an easy idea for leftover turkey(my mom makes this and its easy and yummy). Make chicken noodle soup but with the turkey. I usually take two cartons of chicken broth in a pot boil with chopped celery, carrots, potatoes (or whatever other veggies you would like) a little after add turkey pieces (shredded) and then some extra thin noodles ...when noodles are done serve with a sandwich or alone...easy and tasty. Going to make some now for the DK since its 12:51pm and getting late for lunch.

Hey, I just noticed that I hit 3k posts tonight. That's not bad for doing it in one year and two months. If I keep up at this rate, maybe I can catch up to Holly....Not!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

If we keep this up until next week....maybe we will catch up to Holly. HA HA HA:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Congratulations on you're 2k milestone!

Run, run, fast as you can....can't catch me, I'm the Gingerbread man (or girl in this case)! :lmao: Seriously, it's not a race! Quality counts more than quantity, right?! :goodvibes I often suffer from diarrhea of the mouth. :scared1:

I'm way behind you guys in post - and I've been a member of the site since 2003!
Sometimes it's a curse to have the gift of gab! :rotfl2:

I do have a funny to tell...on xmas my dad and his girlfriend gave Haley a Christmas counting book....on one page it had mittens....they asked Haley to count them and then when she was done they asked what they were....she said cooking hands (that's what we call oven mitts....V speak) they thought it was hilarous that she had no clue what a mitten was.....

Send that little girl up here and we will teach her what mittens are, and hats, and ear muffs, and snow pants, (you get the idea). Tell her John John 2 said she can come up and visit anytime.

I am soooo ffaarr behind in posting, I don't even know how to crawl out..... But I'll be on the ship for sure

There are some nice dresses in and among those. Some are like Disney princesses though!!

Hi guys, I'm not on your Repo (we're on the EB), but I wanted to pass some info along to you. Not sure if it has already been posted. If so, sorry for the duplication.

In talking to DCL this morning when linking ressies, I asked if they had any idea of the theme nights for the EB. She said no, but they just got the WB nights.

This is not all of them, but a few she highlighted were:

Night 3: Formal Night
Aruba: Tropical Night
Night 8: Semi-Formal Night
Acapulco: Mexican Night
Cabo: Pirate Night (I'm surprised at that one since it is NOT in the Caribbean)
Night 14: Ballroom Under the Stars Formal Night

Enjoy your cruise. Your 90-day booking time should be coming up real soon.

Thanks a bunch for the info! Yippee!!!!!!! :woohoo:

Mexican night sounds great! I like that one!! So, does Ballroom under the stars.

Anybody who knows me well will know that Mexican night will be my favorite! :yay:

Aye, same with us too

I am not sure what is it Ballroom under the stars? Mean outside with formal dress or theatre?

Anyway, it look good:thumbsup2

Ohhh, cannot wait Piratepirate:

Scottishwee35:love:
I just showed the list of theme nights and told her I was interested in the Ballroom Under the Stars and she said they did that on her DVC member cruise in October and it wasn't outside like I'd been assuming. She said it was in the atrium and was very cheesy. :sad2: Let's hope ours is different!

OK. I'm one of those lurkers. I've been lurking for over 4 months, but I had a GREAT reason.

The cruise was a Christmas gift to my wife and son. I guess I'm not great at hiding surprises, because the wife figured me out about 3 months ago. I was in heavy denial since then, until now. Since I was afraid of giving too much away, I have been resigned to lurking. Now that it's out, I am happy to announce that my DW (Beth), DS (Jack - 6) and myself - DH (Stacey) will be on the cruise. We live in Santa Clarita, California (near Six Flags Tragic Mountain). Please add us to the list of those going. We are staying in 7548 and are looking forward to the vacation.

We are looking for all the advice from you experienced cruisers as this will be our first Disney Cruise. We did do a short 3 night cruise to Ensenada on another cruise line, but it was not our style.

Our DS is looking forward to the trip, but at 6 it's hard to get too excited this far in advance.

Also, how does one go about ordering a Laynard?

Finally, are there any DIS meets scheduled in the coming months, especially in the Southern California area?

See you on board!!!
WELCOME! My son Tyler will turn 6 four days after the cruise ends. I regret telling him about the cruise because his excitement level every single day is about to drive me insane! :rotfl:

YEAH, I got a mini pirate post number 40500! YEAH!

Congrats!!!

I wear ear plugs so a tv is no problem!! Now, lack of a near by toilet might be!

We can lower the lifeboat a little to catch someone's tv. Can't raise them more to catch the Walt's one though!!!

Woohoo, t-shirts!!!!

I don't know much about Jimeny Cricket, but I trust your judgement there Deb. We are very special people having our own t-shirt.:lmao:

The hostess with the mostess. Can you some cookies and Mickey Ice Cream bars please?:rolleyes1

you can use my potty, but there might be a line, wait behind me.

Jiminy Cricket is my Dsis husband...long story...we love him in my family  I'd order that shirt!!!

And yes, I'll get the cookies of the day and some mickey bars (oops I'll whip those right up!!!) the hostess with the mostess :lmao: :lmao:

Lots!!!

Karen

ya, but how much lots????

Wait a minute - I love the ticky-tacky shirts! At my age a little ticky-tacky is good! I also have lots of Mary Francis purses.

I'll bring the soft drinks!

ok, who is Mary Francis, I'm almost afraid to ask :scared1: & yes, please BYO(sd) in your refillable cups.....:lmao: :lmao:

is the website diettogo? And for three meals a day it's around $116 for three weeks?
How is the food?

You have the site right, but the prices are not that low on the SF bay area site. I've got 5 meals 3 times a day for ~112 per week...

I am not going to wear a name tag! I am going to wear a ticky-tacky shirt and see who can find me!

Woohoo, another cruising family!! Welcome. What a lovely gift to your family.

There are a couple of boys around Jack's age and a whole gang of girls!!!:)

It wouldn't surprise me at all if there isn't another meet sometime in your area so keep reading!

yup, we have a DS who will be 8 and a DD 10 we live in Northern CA so we'd be up for a So Cal meet before we cruise.

Hey all! Yep, I'm still on this cruise, just been busy with our other 6 cruises we took in 2007. I only have a Feb 2008 cruise planned before this one.

I'm still planning on heading up the Pirate day with my other team members, and still planning on doing the scrapbook class (I'm in the designing phase of the book) and will do the DisBoard mini-navigator if everyone wants one.

I'll try to check in more frequently, but I have a hard time keeping up with all the posts!

Happy Holidays.

Good to see ya seaulater :goodvibes can't wait to do some scrapping with you and the mini Navs sound so cool. :thumbsup2

maybe we should ask on teh main board if anyone else has had a ballroom under the stars? I was picturing thousands of white mini twinkling lights draped from one side of the boat to the other, fresh flowers everywhere, soft romantic music playing, butlers walking around with trays of champagne and hors d'ouevres......that kind of thing

I think the girls think I am crazy...I keep putting things in teh cruise box and telling them they can't wear this or that...."it's for the cruise".....they will probably fall over in shock when we actually make it to the ship.:rotfl:

If I had thought much about it I would have thought the same as you. It sounds magical.
