are there no more themed nights? I read on the main board no 70's and 80's night?

There is now One Hit wonders night, and Spring break night on the seven night cruise.

I don't have the 50/60 or 70/80 nights listed on my most recent nav's.

I hope you both reach your goals. Holly you have done so well so far - not too far to go now.
Well, the problem is that I started thinking, "Oh, cool! I can eat whatever I want now!" and lost control again. I didn't gain anything over Thanksgiving, but just this week I discovered that I gained 5 pounds. That's really not much, in light of how much I lost, so I'm not upset about it, but it was a wake-up call reminding me that I will always have to be careful. So getting to the gym will help me even more. :thumbsup2

Yes it look absolutely great for my son who is dafties with Pirate!! I am sure he will have a great day. But I never been in Mexico and 4 different parts before. I am not sure if I do booking on our own. Scare if something go wrong. I think I book with dcl to be safe side. If you know experience there or know what to do like booking on your own should be great.

Scottishwee35

If you do the Pirate ship yourself then you walk to the other side of the pier to board. It is the same ship the DCL tours are on, so if anything goes wrong then it goes wrong for DCL too.

oh my, I convinced Samantha that I heard jingle bells meaning the elves were nearby and that she should be cleaning her room or Santa may think she doesn't need any more toys. After a minute and a half she runs out, "mom, they saw me! I'm done!", umm no dear, they stick around the neighborhood all night!

Do you have the ELF ON THE SHELF book? It is great and comes with an elf. If you don't have it get it before next year!

Something really cool happened to me today! Many years ago, I managed a Subway (the sandwich shop) for about 6 years and the owner and I got along really well. His name is Blake and eventually I started dogsitting for him whenever he travelled. I loved doing that because he had a really big, expensive, luxurious apartment! :cloud9: Didn't like the dog much because it was a whippet and always wanted to sleep under the covers becaues he was cold, and crammed his bony body next to me. Yucky.

Anyway, Blake and I went out on a couple dates and hit it off really well. But he's much older than I am, and that was a problem for him, I think mainly because we were at such different stages in life. He wanted to have a family and I wasn't ready to settle down. I was still trying to finish college, working towards my Bachelors degree. He had graduated from U of M, went through his wild days, etc. and owned 4 Subway stores. SO, we agreed that things wouldn't work for us and both moved on.

As the years passed, I lost contact with him. I knew he had married and had a daughter. I think about him now and then, but haven't talked to him in about 13 years. Just yesterday, I was really thinking about him LOTS and how I wonder what things would have been like with him, how his family is doing, what sort of dad he is, if he's still married, etc. Today, my best friend from back home (Shelly) called me to tell me she just ran into Blake Christmas shopping and the whole conversation involved him asking about me, where I am, if I'm single, how I've been, if I have kids, etc. :scared1: She filled him in on everything and when she told him I'm single, she says his eyes got wide and he told her he's divorced and wishes he could reconnect with me, so she gave him my phone number. :yay:

What a coincidence, with how much I'd been thinking about him just yesterday! Because of how interested he seemed, Shelly told me if I don't hear from him this weekend, I should look him up and give him a call because she thinks he might be nervous to call me after all these years, but she could see his clear interest, so I think I will!

Oh my!!!!!! This sounds romantic.

So we have groceries and hot chocolate and we're ready for the storm tonight & tomorrow. It didn't snow long earlier. The weather guy says the storm isn't supposed to start until around 10pm tonight. Up to 7 inches overnight and up to another 7 inches by tomorrow evening. I think we'll go out tonight since tomorrow should be the yucky day. A huge church here in town is doing Scrooge. They've done it for many years and this is the last weekend of the show. It's a 2 hour show, and I'm not sure Tyler would sit through something that long, but we're going to give it a try. :thumbsup2 Actually, I'm going to give him a choice between that or going to see Alvin & the Chipmunks. I want to do both, so I'll let him pick. :goodvibes And since tomorrow is supposed to be so crummy, I think we'll make Christmas cookies! :yay:

I have a Best Buy 10% off coupon I can mail to you...if you want it. You have to look at this camera. Vanessa brought it with her from Norway and we able to get it at Best Buy for Annie for her birthday. It is so cool cause it is waterproof and you can take it swimming with you!! It is a SW790/Olympus.

Well, the hospital just called and they have been able to completely ween Frank off of the artifical heart!! We are waiting for the snow to get here...so I went ahead and cooked dinner early (just about ready) and Don and I are going to the hospital.

He is still in a coma and he is still on the ventalator....but this is a very big step. His heart is finally working on its own!!

They are hoping to bring him out of the coma some tonight, so Don and I want to be there.....

Thanks to all for listening me though this.....it really helps to type your thoughts out!!:goodvibes :goodvibes

Oh Lisa, all the best, please know we are thinking of you and your family and FIL and praying for the best. Stay safe as well, in your travels!

We got our tree....I think it's very Charlie Brownish because it's only 4 feet tall....but it's got a good shape and it's bushy. We had to get a tree to go on a table because Angel (the dog for all the new friends) and Ella (the cat) will knock it down as Angel chases Ella all over the house.

Then we went to Hallmark and got our traditional new Mickey ornament for the tree. We get a one every year. This year we got Micky and Minnie shopping....it's really cute.....Minnie is on the cell phone while Mickey is carrying all the presents.

We'll put the tree up and decorate tomorrow. It's getting late tonight and we have to do dinner. We'll be snowed in anyway. It's supposed to get here about 3am.
