I love this time of the football season....so many games on so many days! I'll be watching and keeping you up on the scores.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Just stay away from the Browns Deb!

We play Buffalo on Sunday - Alex and I will be there - we have playoff destiny in our hands, but of course, it is Cleveland!:scared1:

I'll be rooting for you but I promise not to watch that one. Have a great time at the game with Alex! GO BROWNS! I don't like Buffalo anyway. John says, what does B-I-L-L-S stand for.....Boy I Love Losing Superbowls!!!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Good night all!

Time for bed.
Goodnight John! I'm headed to bed too. Been too exhausted for a couple weeks. Used to always stay up until midnight or 1am, but can barely make it until 10 anymore. So....off to sleep I go!

Hi Nan, glad you figured out what the problem is, but sorry you are under so much stress to cause this in the first place:hug: Take care of yourself:hug:

Kathe

They said they'd have the results to my doctor by tomorrow, so hopefully I'll know something by Friday.

Well, I have to say goodnight too. I have to get up in 6 1/2 hrs  I didn't realize it was so late, it's the first time in a while I've been able to sit and try to get caught up on here without having a lot of discomfort. I can't believe where the hours have gone. Oh well, I'd rather be tired than in pain :)

Shawn was surprised by his Divisional today who flew in without notice. They met for awhile and most of the talk was about the Holiday season. Then he was asked the following . . . . . . even though you turned down the Honolulu store are you willing to go there for a month end of Feb early March and help open it???

Umm, let me think, a paid trip to Honolulu for a month. . . . . yep, sure can do!

Second question, are you and your family willing to relocate to Florida???

Yep!

That was the end of the topic. Left with many, many unanswered questions, but not really the situation to ask more questions.

We were talking of making it a goal to move when the Sarasota store opened in 2010. Made some calls to find out what might be out there. Rumor has it that the North Carolina/Georgia/Florida Regional position is about to open. Hmmm, this could be very, very good. Now we play the waiting game.

This sounds wonderful to me. Who does your DH work for?
Lisa

Long, hard, very sad day.

Frank (my DFIL) was supposed to be operated on at 10am....well it was delayed (like they warned us) and he went in at 1pm.

Many unexpected complications and he was in for 10 hours...(just got home fromt he hospital. The doctor said he is just about as sick as anyone can be and still be alive. Once they finished with the surgery, his heart would not start up on its own. They had to use a "ballon pump" to keep his heart going. He can not breathe on his on and is on a ventilator. At midnight, let us see him for a minute or two.

We need to take this minute by minute. When we were in with him, all these alarms started going off and they pushed us out of the room. After a few minutes, everything calmed down and they let us back in.

They will keep him in a coma for several days. The only think I asked was "can he feel any pain" and they assured me he was comfortable.

I am off to bed.

Oh Lisa, at least he's in good hands and they're doing everything they can for him. How is Don? How are you holding up? I thought about you all day today and I'm glad you came on here to update us. Thank you. Will keep the positive thoughts and prayers for all of you!

I hope you feel better soon and the doctors figure everything out. I hope they can help with the discomfort somehow.

Marilyn, congratulations on joining DVC!!! What a surprise for John to want to do that! Great for you!!!

I just ordered the DVD online to see what DVC is all about. All I know is that you buy and use points for whatever place you buy, even though you can stay at any of them. I told John we're just speculating for the Hawaiian villas when they become available. They say it will open in 2011. I wonder when they will start selling them?

:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Marilyn you joined DVC:confused3 I am not caught up so don't have a clue but I take it you had a good time therefore joined ....can't wait to catch and find out how your trip was.:goodvibes

Hi Holly, thanks for asking. I figured out that it was and is a stress spot. When I'm stressed it is flaring up. I was ok on Monday morning and then I got called into a meeting and it tighten back up again. The rest of the week has been tight but not as bad as last week. I too had a migraine this morning, took my pill and slept from 4am-9am, then had to take mom to her doctor appt. We then went out for lunch (breakfast for me) and this afternoon it's all but gone. Back to work, I'm underwater still....

Lisa, praying for good results with surgery.

Happy Bday Amy :goodvibes :dance3:

Welcome newcomers and hello old timers....

And ladies....save me a spot on the Walt or Roy couch when that call comes ok?:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

peaked at the excursions nothing looked outta this world, I think we may lay low too and hang at the beach.

Hang in there.:grouphug: I hope your stress reduces somehow so your back gets better. Last thing you need is stress on top of the business this time of year. Just think the cruise will be here before you know it:goodvibes

Well, I'm going to try and catch up tommorow sometime. Have to get to bed its midnight my time and my stuffiness makes my head feel like its going to explode. :headache: I've had this cold...I guess... that I've been trying to fight off but have no chance to get any rest. My DS had an allergic reaction to something and has had hives for two days(he's allergic to a lot of things) he's been on a benidryl RX type med. and its helping. My DS winter program was tonight so of course had to go to that since he always looks so forward to stuff like that ....its so cute. Monday I felt horrible so ended up not going to a Christmas party that I was going to go to. I got some Christmas shopping done today, should of stayed in bed but trying to get everything done. organizing group gift for DD soccer coach. Our first of our out of town guest fly in on Monday and the rest come in the following week. They are all staying at our house and I make Christmas dinner alone as I do every year for the past 10 years...can't think about that though feeling this horrible. I also took my dd to her 5 yr well check yesterday...I forgot and so I scheduled it a couple of months after her bday and she is 90th percentile in height and 70th in weight...she's almost as tall as DS. It's been such a busy week and I've been sick I just want to make it through the week but this weekend is of course bday party and soccer day and DH works all weekend:eek: Just trying to get through it healthy before Monday to be ready to entertain for the holidays:confused3 I'm sooo not ready...next year I WILL get all of my shopping done the day after Thanksgiving...no more procrastinating:sad2: Well, good night...hopefully I can catch up soon...even look at the excursions...haven't had a chance yet:sad1:

Well I had a great night's sleep and feel so much better today.:)

We have been long time "lurkers" but not "posters", but I'm planning to change that. I'm Bob and my wife's name is Lucy. We are friends of Deb (Ella Enchanted- Hi Deb! Time to get together !!) and also Lisa (Liserann- Hi Lisa!)
We have been booked since the first day and posted for a while in the beginning. But we really haven't kept up with the posts like we wanted to. But this group all seems so close and so special that I decided it was time we got to know everyone better. This cruise is coming so fast and now that excursions are out, it's even more exciting.
We are leaving for WDW on Christmas Eve so we'll have a little Disney fix before May, but really can't wait to meet many of you on the cruise.

Nice to see you back and it will be great to get to know you before the cruise.I am Marilyn and it will be just me and my husband John.

We book our excursions through Disney. We are terrified of being late or getting a dud!

Castaway Cay- Eco Tour
Aruba- Sea and See Island Tour
Acupolco- Hightlight, Shopping, and divers
P.V. - Sea Lions
Cabo- Canyon Canopy Adventure

DH does not really like beaches and is allergic to the sun. He also had a terrible time snorkeling but I LOVE it. I will do that on CC and he will watch.:rotfl:

If we book anything I think it will be through disney for the same reasons! However I don't think we will go too far apart from the cliff divers in Acapulco. Need to do some research over the Christmas break. I keep thinking I will be to lazy to move off the ship though!:lmao:

He has the last week of Dec & the 1st week of Jan off, so his last day is 12/21 and he goes back 1/7. Unfortunately, I can't afford to miss any work at all, in fact, I'm trying to get more hours. I'm already losing 2 days of pay for Christmas and 2 for New Year (the Mon & Tues of each week). But I'll also have to take off each Wed those 2 weeks, and then each Thurs & Fri he'll be at his dad's, so his dad will have to figure out those days. Good news is my office manager told me she'll ask the guys if they'll let me work extra hours Thurs & Fri of those 2 weeks to help make up a few lost hours. Depends on work flow though, so I hope they need me.

Hope that works out for you Holly.
