Ew! 4am is EARLY, but not too early for Mickey! Hope you have some luck getting that later flight. If we decide not to go to do NASA, do you want to get together before Grills and maybe do beach or pool. Our hotel is right on the oceanfront. We like to hang out at Mambos....it's the outdoor bar at our hotel. Does Brent like the ocean or the pool better?

He loves both! Our neighborhood has the largest pool in the south. Water slides, diving boards, waterfall and kids play area. It's over 2 acres of water, so finding a good pool at a hotel is hard. We go to the beach several weeks a year and he loves the sand. I like the pool better.

Wow, that's nice to have in the neighborhood. Our hotel pool is just a pool, nothing special....it's nice but it's basic. I love the beach, John loves the pool. So we usually go to the pool. I used to get my beach in with Sandi and boys.

We'll keep our plans tentative for now and we'll PM cell numbers before we leave. We'll keep in touch.

Me and Brent can do the beach and you and John can do the pool and your DH and DD I'm not sure about!

I may have mentioned, we and the rest of our fellow Geek cruisers (from our December 2006 cruise) will be staying Friday night at WDW at Saratoga Springs. We have a Grand Villa and another room booked to fit us all. Amy, Sophia and I are arriving Friday morning.

I am guessing our thread will not finalize and settle down until final payment is due.

Leslie - great news for your DH - we are envious.

Holly - good to know Tyler is doing better!

I am the beach person of the family - Amy does not really care for the beach.

What are your plans for Friday during the day?

I am guessing our thread will not finalize and settle down until final payment is due.

Do you think we'll get our room assignments at that time?

I am the beach person of the family - Amy does not really care for the beach.

Does that mean you don't do the beach excursions? Me either coz John hates them. We'll probably end up on one or two for an hour or so. He can tolerate that because he can snorkel off the beach. He likes that better.

You did good John, it's great to see you back on again, we have all missed you!!!! So many people have been gone all at the same time. They're all starting to come back and then another group goes. We all LOVE our mouse.

Marilyn, congratulations on joining DVC!!! What a surprise for John to want to do that! Great for you!!!

I just ordered the DVD online to see what DVC is all about. All I know is that you buy and use points for whatever place you buy, even though you can stay at any of them. I told John we're just speculating for the Hawaiian villas when they become available. They say it will open in 2011. I wonder when they will start selling them?

Doesn't seem that DCL will be making too much $ on any of us. The beaches will be full!

Well, I think they'll make some money from me Since this is my first cruise and since I'm travelling solo, I think I will be booking at least one excursion at each port, except for CC. I'm not too comfortable booking elsewhere by myself. I know I can't do everything I want to do but I do want to swim with the dolphins, experience a zip-line, maybe parasailing and see the divers in Acapulco, and try snorkeling. The hardest decisions are where to try what! Can someone remind me when we can start booking? Do I need to pay in full first, or is it so many days out??

We have no plans for Friday, and will probably just hang around the Saratoga Pool or DTD. As to beach excursions - nope, probably will not be going on any. I love to snorkel though, so we will see. My favorite excursion on the Eastern is the Golden Eagle Catamaran and snorkel.

Any football games on this Thurs night John? Or just the usual weekend ones?

There is a Thursday game (Denver at Houston) and a Saturday game (Cin at SF) but since I do not have the NFL network, no game watching for me!

First you have to be paid in full, then you can book 105 days out for concierge, 90 days out for castaway club and 75 days out for all the rest.

What are you doing on CC? John and I are booking the glass bottom boat. It's a short excursion I think. Then we'll have time to do something else like go to serenity beach, the adult beach, or Cookies BBQ and have lunch or back onboard if we feel like it.

My favorite snorkel to date was swimming with the sea turtles in Barbados. I'm still excited when I think about it!

I knew all this from doing research when we first booked, but it's been too long since then, I'm forgetting everything I was planning on CC being my one beach only day, going to Serenity Bay and relaxing with a book and maybe a drink But if this is the only port there is parasailing at then I might do that as well.

I'm feeling better thanks. Keep reminding me of all the good reasons to quit when I'm having my cravings for a cigarette. I know it's the right thing to do and the sooner the better.

I'm happy about the info for sale dates in Hawaii being 2009....that's only a year away. That's good timing for me.

How many points did you start out with? The website says anywhere from 150-250 is average. What does that cost for a moderate resort? I'm hoping from $150-250 per month. Do the points match the dollars?

Hi Holly, thanks for asking. I figured out that it was and is a stress spot. When I'm stressed it is flaring up. I was ok on Monday morning and then I got called into a meeting and it tighten back up again. The rest of the week has been tight but not as bad as last week. I too had a migraine this morning, took my pill and slept from 4am-9am, then had to take mom to her doctor appt. We then went out for lunch (breakfast for me) and this afternoon it's all but gone. Back to work, I'm underwater still....

Hi Nan, glad you figured out what the problem is, but sorry you are under so much stress to cause this in the first place Take care of yourself

Go for it Kathe, I'll wave to you....you can still do Serentiy Bay after parasailing, it won't take all day.
