Santa's bringing the Flying Dutchman to go with the Black Pearl that he got last year (the legos kind with billions of pieces), a doctor kit with white doctor coat that says "Dr. Tyler" (he's really into playing dr.), Kraaken (sp?) to go with his pirate ships (another legos thing), a space shuttle/astronaut/spaceship type playset (he doesn't have any astronaut stuff and always complains about not having any), a stuffed Sparty (MSU mascott) that dances and plays the MSU song when you squeeze his hand (he LOVES Sparty), and I think that's it. Then from me: a Sparty ornament for the Christmas tree, pair of Spiderman shoes (he's been protesting his tie-up shoes and begging for velcro or slip-ons like all the other kids have), and a stamper/ink pad/color pencil kid (because he's really into doing art projects).

Brent's getting lots of power ranger stuff since they came out with new rangers, science projects, games for leapster, star wars things, new rolling bag for travel, a telescope and a 27" LCD tv with dvd player for his bedroom(this is what gran-pa bought). Lots of small stuff too. He has way too many toys!

Holly, what are your parents giving you?

My parents are giving me $$$ and everyone else I hope is giving disney gift cards. Don't think my dh is giving much since we are going to WDW the next week and I sure will not complain knowing that he has a cruise to pay for that he knows nothing about!

At 4:30 today, I wanted to run back to the store to exchange the shoes I bought for Tyler because I mistakenly bought a 1/2 size too small. But I didn't go because I didn't think I'd have time before Tyler was dropped off. Yeah....that was THREE HOURS AGO. I should have gone. Sure would have been nice to have some sort of estimate of when he'd be dropped off instead of sitting here all night waiting.

Tyler went through a very short Power Rangers phase, but it never surpassed his love for pirates!

Brent got all 3 POC ships last year. The Power Ranger phase has hung around for about 3 years now. Star Wars started this fall but hasn't taken over PRs yet.

My dad usually gives me a $50 Walmart gift card. My mom will probably buy candles or something useful.....I don't know.

Wow.....I can barely afford just one of those ships! The Flying Dutchman was around $50 everywhere I looked, but I got lucky and found it for $17.99 on amazon.com! And last year my mom bought the Black Pearl to be from Santa, thank goodness!

No, because it's already past his bedtime, so he's likely falling asleep by now, so it's best for him to just get here and into bed. I can just exchange his shoes after he opens that present. No big deal. He'll be fine with that because he might see another pair he likes better anyway. This is the first time he hasn't picked his shoes out, so he'll likely want to pick his own.

OH......and I did try to call earlier to ask if they knew when they'd be dropping him off, but nobody answered the phone. So it could be that they didn't take the phone.

Great price on the ship! When it comes to Brent, my dh will buy anything that he ask for even if his Mom and I say he doesn't need it! People in the neighborhood laugh and say that Toys R Us does their shopping from Brent! I doubt there is much that you can mention that he doesn't have! We could take a 7 night cruise on what we spend at Christmas!

I will have to work Thursday and Friday next week, then head back for Wednesday-Friday the week afterwards.

We have a national holiday called Boxing Day, that government, banking and some stores are closed for.

Well, I finally finished another very busy day at work.I'm off tomorrow, have to work Monday until 7:00 pm then have Christmas Day and Boxing Day off, but then work Thurs-Sat. We are open Boxing Day, but it is an "optional" day because we have a union, and it is in our contract as such. People who work it get double time, so luckily I have two of my staff who offered to work,so I won't get "guilted" into working it So tomorrow I have to wrap all of my gifts, at least the shopping is done, clean my house, visit a good friend to exchange gifts, and then visit my in-laws. I'm supposed to go to an open house tomorrow night at a good friend's home, but I'm just not up to it this year.

We don't on our home phone! Heck the answer machine doesn't always work either.

Do you think Todd should have won? Did you want him to win? I'm kind of glad he got it, as long as Courtney didn't. I'm not sure if I like her enough.

Probably best to do Christmas first then with that behind you, maybe you can spend New Year's eve together. That could be a lot of fun. Will you definitely call him after Christmas? He said he would love if you called. Maybe you just want to call and say Merry Christmas?!?

Out of the three left I thought it should go to Todd. I really wanted James to win and after he was gone then Denise. Favorite moment of the season was when Jamie played her fake immunity idol. Definitely a priceless moment!


Well I better go wrap Darrell's presents while he's at the gym

I got him a new roll-behind carry-on suitcase, pedometer, books - first 2 in the Dexter series and Meerkat Manor, DVDs - Superbad and Simpson's and a calendar - Get Fuzzy.

I'm getting a 160gb iPod classic (which I have tons of questions about) from Darrell. I'm pretty sure my parents got us gift cards and so did my sister's family.
