One of my co-workers just left to go to the Bulls game. He is going with two buddies...none of them like USF but they all HATE West Virginia...Steve is a Western Michigan Alum and the other two are Buckeye's....But they did all go buy the USF green shirts!

I was just getting the house under control from being away two weekends in a row, patting myself on the back.

I'm relaxing a little bit after my morning shower, and the power goes off. I jump, get dressed, and run outside. The yard guys are flicking the power on and off trying to get the sprinkler timer working.:confused3

I open the controller, take out the 9 volt battery and put it to my tongue, dead. I go in the house, bring out a fresh 9 volt battery, plug it in and the controller is working. I look at the pool, it's green and I check it's controller, it's all wrong and not turning either.

So I open up the electrical panel, and sure enough, the pool circuit was off. So I switch that on, clean out the pool filter, throw in some chroline and go in the house.

The oldest was home from school yesterday with Pink Eye, so I go grab his mattress cover to put it back on his bed and I hear a crinkle and one of the dogs barks. I look out my beautiful custom 9 ft tall french doors and all I see is cracks.:scared1:

So I go outside to take pictures of it for the insurance company, and the glass starts to fall from the door.:headache: So I call the insurance company back to say "I need someone to come and help me with this 9ft tall piece of fractured glass coming down." They ask, "Are you going to be there today?"
"Yes", I reply as I'm still doing the laundry from yesterday's Pink Eye decontamination. :laundy:

I need a spa day.:sad1:

Here is hoping you get your spa day soon!!

I don't like the quote that they are building "Bulls Nation" come up with something different than UF!

Hope you get your paycheck sorted out before you leave!!
No such luck. :sad2: :headache: My employer has confirmation that it was deposited, but my bank sees no record of the deposit. The bank will investigate on their end and I'll just have to deal with it when I return next week. Too many last minute things to do today. Oil change, laundry, nap, clean out the car, pack, etc. :yay:

Two jump from St. Petersburg bridge; only one survives

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

ST. PETERSBURG -- Authorities say two women jumped from the towering Sunshine Skyway bridge in St. Petersburg during morning rush hour. One of them survived the fall.

Authorities say a woman in her 40s parked her car at the center span, left a suicide note and jumped from the bridge at around 7:20 a.m. She hit the rocks below and didn't survive.

About an hour and a half later, a woman in her 80s parked her car at the south end, left a note and jumped off. She was still alive when the Coast Guard found her in the water.

OMG, I can't believe this! The 80 year old woman is still alive. I always get the willies when going over the Skyway. It is so very tall!

anyone skipping out early this afternoon? I sure wish I could. At lunchtime it was gorgeous out. Hopefully it won't be pouring when I leave. Gotta love Florida weather!
