I think Carol is on the 9/29 cruise. I had friends on that one, but they just had to cancel due to storm damage to their home in Mexico.

are we doing a book exchange at all on the cruise? I have tons of books I could ship and leave and although I have never had a chance to read more than the Nav I think 15 nights I may get to read something! or leaving them in Cove Cafe?

I meet AngieBelle for the first time on her brithday in 2004, at the MNSSHP parade, I didn't know it at the time, but her and her boyfriend were very sweet to this first time solo tripper.

It was Oct '04 when I was there too....hmmmm. what night did we do MNSSHP....I'll look that up.

So today was supposed to be the day my water heater gets installed (2nd week without hot water). The plumber was scheduled to arrive around 1pm. I got a phone call from his office this morning telling me that when he went to pick up my water heater from Sears, Sears told him it wasn't on their delivery truck last night when they got their shipment in. They get another shipment next Wednesday, so it looks like another week with cold water. What a pain in the booty this has turned out to be!

LSU didn't lose any of their good players and in the SEC home field advantage is very important. SC didn't lose their games by much, so an upset could come about. You never know with the SEC!

The lost Mr Russell. Do they have a replacement that is equivalent?

AND it had 8 cans of Diet RootBeer and a couple a snack bags of Cheetos....just to get me through the week. (Actually, we ended up taking the Cheetos for a snack on the plane ride home.)

I was planing on bringing one (or maybe two) book(s) I'd already read to leave in Cove Cafe the first (or 2nd day) and then whatever new book I'd brought with me to read, I would leave there when finished. If a mess of us do that, we should always find something to read.

Not on here yet (Zack & Cody on right now). I think I get the west coast feed for Disney (it varies cable station to cable station). But I did go in and turn up the volume so I don't miss it.

Just as good, I hate to say. I think LSU has by far the worse fans of any school we have ever played - so the more they lose the better. It's pretty sad when main teams in the SEC have to have police escorts to the stadium. Anyway anything can happen when you play in the SEC and it starts next week!

is Tigger your fav? He's always been my favorite and my mom has always had a hard time buying stuff for me, one year she got me a dark green jacket with Tigger on the back, this must have been 12 years ago ==== it is soooo worn out!

OMG - why so long to be installed?

First the plumber came to do an estimate. Turns out everything needs to be brought up to code. It was a gas water heater very single pipe going into and coming out of it is a code violation because it's over 30 years old, so what met code back then is long outdated by now. So the guy wanted to price a bunch of different options for me and then order parts. In the meantime, my dad suggested just switching to electric, so I asked the plumber if that would work. Turns out the unit itself is cheaper, and installing is cheaper because then he doesn't have to worry about updating all the gas stuff since we won't be using it. And my dad told me when he switched to electric, his electric bill didn't go up much, but his gas bill went down big time, so he says running it will be cheaper too. Then we had to get the gas water heater back to Sears to exchange it for electric. Then the electric one didn't come in yesterday like it was supposed to. Oh well.....I'm still much happier than when I was renting!

Peg just gave me a Marian Keyes to read, "Anydody Out There?" I've read one other of hers and really liked it. I'm 73 pages into this one and think it's going to be even better than the first one I read.

Can't keep my eyes open any longer. After work I took Tyler to a museum because he was so good at day care today, and my eyes were literally closing while walking through the museum! Not sure why I'm so dang tired.....probably never really got a good night's sleep after final exam week. So the tiredness just kept building. SO I'm headed to bed by 10 tonight and will come home after work tomorrow and take a nap. I get out at 12:30, so I'll have plenty of time to get a 2 hour nap and still do all my cleaning before going to the comedy club!

I've been exposed to SEC sports all my life. I went to UF in the early/mid 90's, much when LSU was pretty here and there, and as a cheerleader as well as subsequent years a road tripper, I thought LSU was one of our most fun places to visit. But then I only visited LSU when they were sort of on the losing end, but of all the SEC teams I visited they were always the most gracious. Except UT.

I was at UF right after all the murders happened....and I can say we were treated terribly by UT after that happened. They threw cups, ice, etc at us...and OMG the killer had nothing to do wiht UF. But the things the students said were pretty horrible!


Personally I have always thought SEC against SEC has been pretty cordial. ....it's when FSU comes around we get pretty lippy!

Oh and in recent years...gydell...UF has always had sherrif's on horseback line the field. as well as around the stadium (not on HB). I have not road tripped for a while so I thought this was standard, but there will be no rushing the FL field nor any funny business going on. They are super strict and as season pass holders we were sent a letter on conduct this season....! Feels like K!
