OK....here's the Tooth Fairy's note, which of course, I'll have to read to Tyler.

Dear Tyler: I know how badly you want to keep your tooth, so I have decided to let you hang onto it to remember the special occasion of losing your first baby tooth. AND you still receive your special reward! Please take very good care of the rest of your teeth because I only like collecting clean and healthy teeth. See you when you lose your next tooth! Love, the Tooth Fairy

I put it with $$ in an envelope under his pillow. His dad told him the tooth fairy would leave a quarter, so Tyler will be surprised to find dollar bills! I know he'll immediately put them in his wallet (he only puts change in his piggy banks) because he loves being able to pay for his own stuff when we go out.

That's so special....would love to see his face when he wakes up and finds it!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this pic....capturing special moments in time....he looks proud to show it off with vigor....he's a big boy now, losing those baby teeth!

At first I hated that picture, but now I laugh whenever I look at it! Everywhere we went today, he told everybody in sight about his tooth and pulled the bag out of his pocket to show everybody. But what's funny is when I asked him if he wanted to call his dad and tell him it came out, he said, "Nah, he can just see it tomorrow when he picks me up." I guess the excitement doesn't extend THAT far. Yet the day he first discovered it was loose, he was at his dad's and wanted to call me to tell me he had a loose tooth. Kids sure are crazy!

Nothing was done by any of DCL on our TA cruise. I though that they might have given out a rose to each mom, but no such luck!

OK....Kathe, Kaylee, Marilyn, Jan, V, Jackie, Peg, Holly, Heather, Gator, Gydell and Lisa.....sooooooo good of you all to be so concerned about the legs....here's what I have decided to do:

I'll pack a bag to do a hosptial stay and I'll bring it with me to my wound center appointment on Thurs. If I go into the emergency room tomorrow, it'll take six hours to get admitted. If I wait one more day, the wound center will admit me. I prefer to do it that way. After six weeks, one more day is not going to matter and it'll be so much easier doing it that way. OK, when I disappear for a couple of days from Thurs on.....you'll know where I've gone! I'm sure I'll have lots of catching up to do....no DIS in the hosptial. I'll miss you all, but hope to be back soon!

I would probably do the same thing as you. Just keep an eye on it.

Are you sure you won't have internet in the hospital? When my friend had a baby a couple years ago, there was a keyboard in the drawer next to the bed and she was able to access the internet through the TV in her room. Not sure if that's just for the maternity ward or something all over the hospital.

Yup. Bottom front. He was on the playground at day care and when he yelled to his friend, it just fell out! He felt it fall and screamed "My tooth! My tooth!" He couldn't find it, so all the teachers and all the kids helped him look. They all searched on their hands & knees for 10 minutes and one kid finally found it for him. Fortutely, it was on the asphalt instead of the grass, or it probably would have been harder to find.

Yeahhhh for Tyler How exciting. That was also the same tooth my Tyler lost first last year. The one next to it on the bottom was next. Now he has his two top ones a little loose but its been like that for a long time...I think I have months for those to come out...hopefully after picture day at school. I'm glad you documented it...its such a big deal to them and makes it so exciting for us...I'm glad you didn't pull it out but waited until it was ready...much better

I'll be there....you can't keep me away....I wouldn't miss this cruise for anything....I've got to be healthy for my cruise in two months first, then I'll be sooooo ready to get on board this one! The one in two months is with all the family and it's a 4 night....this is the one I'm really looking forward to because the family stays home and it's just me and John with all of our DIS family!!!!! So much more fun with so many cool activities planned, especially... THE CHAMPAGNE GIRLS!!!!

Well, when I was a kid, I remember being afraid of people pulling mine out because everybody threatened doing that. I was afraid of it hurting and just wanted to let them fall out on their own (which is what I did). So no way could I ever pull his out.

That's a great idea....but I think John is going to be so busy with work, mom's house, our house, Ray at Mrs. Bush's personal home care, me in the hospital.....if I'm not here to help, it all falls on him. Hopefully, I won't have to stay for long!
