Hi Kaylee, glad you made it home safely! Love the AKL model pics, they look great! We were in bldg 63 really close to the HH. The dream fast passes we just happened to be in the right place at the right time. As far as waking Tink, well we have done it before but it was different then, you could walk down mainstreet and wait for rope drop at the castle...that is no more --they even rope off the lands...we were there for opening and John kept saying go check, I walked past the frint door to the shop and thought what the heck, went in the second and asked and we were first, as we were heading to the box a mom and daughter stampeded in and asked as well and the cm's let about 6 kids all do it at once and poor Haley was drowned in the background of all the big kids. It's nice that they all go to do it, but they should let us do it individually...we went back later just to get shots of the two girls without all the other families.
Laugh floor was cute but we walked in with no wait...not something I would wait a long time for...we did MK two different days and were out of their after lunch each day and did everything. The castle stay is given away by 10:10 am daily, they have to get the family ready and in the parade and such. On Friday we were the first ones to ride the speedway!! Samantha has conquered all the mountains and wanted to do RNR and TNT but I wouldn
t let her...I am still thinking those are a lot more intense.
Haley finally warmed up to the characters towards the end -- the furs --- and fell in love with Stitch, we had to buy one! We opened toontown both days and the second day Donald and Daisy took Samantha by the hand skipping towards the judges tent but she told them she wanted to go on branstormer!!
We had fun, saw two of the three caballeros and loved the flowers at Epcot. Didn't make it to a water park but both girls loved the slide at OKW as did John....:)

That is the one area we have never stayed and always wanted to. It seems to be such a great location....close to HH and you can walk there from the
1st bus stop when coming home and pick up the bus at HH when heading out...so you don't have to take the 20 min ride around the resort.

I never knew that about waking Tinkerbell....the DIS is always great for new ideas. I'll have to remember that and try that on our next trip. The girls love going in there and finding Tinkerbell during the day so I am sure they would love that as well.

we can meet on 12/7!!

Some weeks, and many many posts ago there was some discussion about this, but I think because it is so far away and people have vacations etc before then, it has been put on back burner.

From what I remember there are my hubby John and myself, Mrs Mork and Dr. Hug, John1, Amy and Sophia, Mishoe, and I think Disneylover said they could get there. I believe some are there for a reunion of a cruise from last year. Maybe PJ said she could come too, I can't remember now.

Anyway, plenty of time, but it would be lovely to meet up.

from our mini meet with John and Deb (EllaEnchanted) - WHAT A GREAT COUPLE:woohoo: :woohoo: We just met this evening and couldn't stop talking....honestly, it was a FUN night....we WILL meet again very soon....this is going to be a GREAT trip....have fun tomorrow at DL everyone.
I'll be there in spirit.....give us reports.

DEB: honestly, I can't believe how much fun I had with you guys......NOW I'm so anxious to meet everyone else. :cool1: :dance3:

Glad you guys had such a great time!

fourmcds:

I love looking at pictures and yours are awesome!:thumbsup2 I may even pirate one or two for myself (castles and fireworks will do.)

Feel free to pirate awaypirate: ....I wish I had some of my great fireworks shots on the computer still....the ones this year didn't turn out that great for me.

Kaylee-thanks for sharing, I loved your pics. Looks like you all had a nice time!!! The girls are adorable!! Okay, I don't want you and Scott to be left out, you guys look adorable too! :lmao: :rotfl2:

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: Thanks Lisa!!!!:lmao: :rotfl2:

Kaylee love the pics, everyone looks so happy!

I was wondering if you had a big version of the first fireworks shot it is beautiful, I would love to use it on the desktop of my computer.

Pj

PJ....I will re-upload them to photobucket and post that link for the full size picture...will that work? If the link doesn't work, let me know and I will email you. I think your email address is on the other website, right? I need to email you a pic for that website anyway.

we are watching Dead Man's Chest....we watched it last night as well....fun stuff....! (I know, bad parents!)

BUT the important part is that we have the basics and the weather is supposed to be nice tomorrow, so a good time will be had by all! :yay: I just have to remember to charge up my video camera and put my dad in charge of that, put new batteries in my digital camera, and we'll be ready for fun! :goodvibes

Holly....hope the party goes great! I have had that same issue with ordering party supplies before and it is so stressful...but after the party and all the smiles, you kind of forget about the "pre" stuff! Glad you were able to find most everything on short notice!

Awwwwww, so cute! I'm always amazed at how little kids can sleep in such bizarre positions! Too funny!

I think I should do a scrapbook of pictures of the girls sleeping...when kids crash, they crash! Of course, sometimes the waiting for them to actually crash can be a bit difficult!:lmao:

II loved all your pictures...but this one is the best of all!! How funny!!:lmao:

Thanks

Gretchen has been on a dance competition all weekend.....today she ended up with two Gold Metals!!

Tomorrow we will be there most of the day....3 more....

Sometimes the weekend is more work than the weekdays!!

Congratulations to Gretchen! You must be very proud. What type of dancing is she competing in?

Tyler came home today, it seems a tornado followed him in. :scared1: I'm not quite sure how kids do that! And where did all this clutter come from?! And why are clothes and stuffed animals lying all over the kitchen floor? Since when do they belong in a kitchen anyway? I'm suddenly reminded of how I used to call him "Tyler the tornado" when he was 2! :rotfl2:

Maybe it has something to do with kids that start with "T" Taylor is called the tornado as well! :lmao:

Kaylee, love the pictures of the DVC at AK.

DH and I loved the picture of your DD sleeping on the airplane as if we did not know better looked just like youngest DD when she was the same age.
.

I am really excited for AK to open up...the proposals for the swim area and water play area are amazing looking as well. Prices go up on June 1 (4.00 more a point) and I am trying to decide if we "NEED" more points:lmao:
I bet many of us have pics of our kids sleeping in the craziest positions...that would be a funny posting event sometime!

V...great pics! Personally I love John's pink lanyard! :lmao: Why is it that we adults always end up wearing the kids lanyards?! They need to have them for trading and then 1 trade later...."Mom, I don't want this on anymore, can you wear it?!" Well, maybe that is just my kids.

I really liked the topiaries this trip. The Lion King one with Rafiki was my favorite (and Tinkerbell) and the girls loved Stitch. The Pooh ones were graet too!

Taylor is watching Peter Pan right now and they just had a preview for a new movie, Tinkerbell. Has anyone heard anything about this?

Thanks for the pictures. What an adorable cutie you have there!:cutie:

OKW looks very nice - it is not somewhere I have thought of as we are not DVC ovners, but it looks and sounds great.
I have had reservations there before and canceled thinking it really wasn't "us", but I really really enjoyed it and the studio room is much larger than the values and mod's, even seemed more spacious than pool view and bunk bed AKL and WL....(not sure of the exact square footage)

It's funny --- I bought lots of pins for next to nothing on Disney Shopping so John could trade but I only had one pirate lanyard...(he just got into it within the past year) --- we got some GREAT pins...an I love Jack, several YOAMD pins!! But yes, he ended up with a princess backpack and a pink lanyard most of the time....:rotfl:

I am watching the Panama Canal - the 8th Wonder of the World on PBS right now....alone, the girls are watching some Tigger movie and John is watering.

Yes, the Tink movie is supposed to have Britany Murphy as the voice of Tinkerbell....there was a hold up of some sort in the production, not sure when it is coming out. :confused3

ok == more pics....

Have a great time at graduation! :yay:

Loved everyone's pictures - so jealous of you guys!

V - how many of those Gator jerseys does John have anyway?

We are recovering today after the long graduation day yesterday. Everything went well - almost - the guy reading names mispronounced Alex's last name . . . But Alex is now a college graduate, Summa Cum Laude with a BS in biological science.

Here are my pics . . .

John and Amy - WOW, great pics! You guys must be so proud!!

We really are - it's been a good weekend, even if we are not at Disney.

We love OKW too V, We also love Beach Club. It is now hard for us to decide between the two resorts for where we want to stay. We love the size of the rooms, and the tranquil setting at OKW - and love the pool too. For BCV, we love the proximity close to Epcot.

Must be cool to get those fastpasses - twice there during the year and never got even a whiff of dream fastpasses.
