:lmao: :lmao: She wishes!

I say the kiss doesn't count....it was stolen, not 'shared' ;)

.
hmmmmm. this leads to a QUESTION OF THE DAY!

When/where was your first kiss?

I know I was kissing boys in SECOND GRADE....does that count? OK...let's modify that question to post-puberty first kiss...

I don't actually remember, but I got my first REALLY grown up kiss ;) the summer of '65 (age 15) in a yellow convertible from a boy named Smitty from Brooklyn! I remember that VERY well!

next.....

No comment. Grew up a nerd and a Geek. I will bet I would probably win the oldest on this contest.

I was in 7th grade...with an 8th grader at FoxHunt Disco (I'm serious!) in downtown Coos Bay...I was mortified! What was he doing??

Carolyn

At Knotts Berry Farm way back when there was a lagoon where parking lots are now. On the path around the lagoon. I was 14, it was a boy from church that became my boyfriend for a couple of years.

Angie,

What is it with you and boys and amusement parks?

Was that your "trolling spot"?

Was Knotts the minor league, and you moved up to Disney and the Majors when you snagged Dennis?

Still have you beat by a mile. No contest here.

DH says his first kiss was with Barb P (he won't embarrass her by giving her whole name!) at the ripe old age of nine and that she showed him her..um...goodies...too...

Yesterday I drove past your hotel -- the Crowne Plaza -- on my way to the close by BluewaterGrill restaurant. Delicious food, spectacular view, $$$.

$$$...but so worth it! I checked out the link you provided. Nice. Yummy food selections and a beautiful setting. I also enjoyed their links to things to do in the area. I'm really going to enjoy this trip! Thanks for providing the info.:goodvibes

Ah yes, I loved Rehoboth and Ocean City. Spent lots of time at both of those. My best memories are of Ocean City as that's where we went the day after prom. I haven't been back to Delaware since 1978 so I'm sure things are very different. I would love to go back with my DH to show him where I grew up. He's lived his entire life in Seattle so he doesn't have a clue what the east coast is like.

What a great place to have grown up. Do you still have any family living in the area?

Yeah, I may start looking at airfare in June. We're using my folks DVC points for the Beach Club the week before the cruise. Unfortunately, it's not their home resort so we can't book until November.

It sounds like you have your plans well set, now it's just the waiting time until you can book too.

John-Was it older than mine?

I was 16 when I got my first BF and first kiss. Never had another boyfriend. DH and I dated for 7 years. I guess I knew what I was looking for. (My mom says I had to find somebody who could handle me :rolleyes1 ).

Maybe Ted is more of a hands on type of guy and wants to do all his meeting and greeting in person. It's ok, we'll share many glasses of wine together on the cruise. YEAAAAAA MORE WINE!

Yup, Deb, you have hit the nail on the head! He is very fun and social "in person", especially if wine and his vast knowledge of wine are involved!!

Glad you like the Annie's Lane!!

Hi Tina,

We're building in Laurel, DE. It's south of Georgetown near the MD border. Probably 1-2 hrs. from Wilmington. I was there once. It's quite a small city, but very nice. Our property is horizontal to Bethany beach. I love it there. We always go to Henlopen beach in Lewes now and we fell in love with the area and decided that's were we're going to retire. I love Rohoboth beach also. Then you have Ocean City, MD just down the road.:goodvibes

At the one year mark I can make the car rentals and the hotels on both sides. I have to wait an additional month and then I can make the flight ressies. We're driving to FL and flying home from LA. I book the car and the flight through Orbitz and the hotel directly on the Holiday Inn site. I've already checked all of them. When it asks for dates I forward their calendar as far as it will let me go and I know how long I have to wait. I'm getting very anxious because it's so close now.
:thumbsup2

Ok, now Brian Adams "Summer of 65" is going non stop in my head...

As far as the kiss... I'll never tell (even if I could remember...):rolleyes1

All alone again...

Digga, dang, digga, dang...

(Remember - sung to "On the Road Again "...)
You know, I still don't get it. Must be my blonde roots showing again. One of Tyler's Veggie Tales CDs in the car has "On the Road Again" on it, so I'll have to listen to it again and see if I can figure it out. Can't stand being clueless! Will listen on the way to work today. :thumbsup2 Just can't figure out the digga, dang, digga, dang part. Feeling lost. :sad2:

But it's Friday, so who cares! :woohoo: And my best friend from back home is coming to town today for a sleepover! We often go months without seeing each other because she's an hour and a half away, she has 3 kids, and works double shifts quite often as a nurse. But she has the weekend off, kids are staying with grandma & grandpa, Tyler's at his dad's until tomorrow late afternoon, so we get to spend real time together, without one of us chasing kids around. CAN'T WAIT!
