And the worst part is that the teenage years will make these early years seem like a cake walk!

You may be surprised.....Daniel kept getting easier and easier as he got older.

My daughters that is not the case....harder and harder!!

Awww....thanks! But looks are deceiving. He's been a horrible monster for about a week now and after he goes to his dad's tomorrow, he just might come home Saturday to find all his new birthday presents locked up and he'll have to earn them back one at a time with each day of good behavior. :headache:

I bet you will be so glad to see him that all will be forgotten!! Seems like the parental memory is as short as the kids one!!

Yes! The cat kind of got out of the bag at our dismeet because of something that happened at the dismeet that I don't dare repeat. I had mentioned that he was before but not really often. It is kind of hard because you don't want every one to ask if he can do certain things because it is such a large group we have on here but when pixie dust is on your side like at the dismeet it is wonderful. It was not much but better than a kick in the pants.

I am not sure what happened at the DISmeet but guess I really do not want to know!!

In my experience, guys are easier to raise and girls are WAY harder!! Just my thoughts...

Very true! I always miss him by bedtime the first night he's gone each week.

Logging off myself...only 9:00pm ish here in Arizona. Need to go watch my dvr'd Bachelor, Dancing with the Stars, and American Idol.:upsidedow

When it gets closer, have someone here in southern CA, like me, check stores like Vons and Costco. They will have "discount" tickets that are only available for purchase here. We can purchase them for you. You might end up saving at least a little.

What's up Tahoe? How's my new buddy Conner? Anyway, just wanted to throw this out there.... Me and my DW were just discussing your offer to buy "discount" tickets for someone else. Don't think you can and here's why. We're pretty sure that when you buy these tickets, especialy at Von's, that you get a voucher type of thing as opposed to an actual ticket. You then take this voucher to the ticket booth at Disneyland, upon which time you have to show ID to prove that your a So. Cal. resident. You must be in certain zip-codes to be eligible for the discount price. We're also pretty sure you have to show ID at sometime for the Costco ones too, as they are 4 day passes that can be used at any time within a certain time period, but by the same person. Whew!! I haven't typed(chicken pecked) this much since highschool!(ROYALS RULE!) This only took me all of American Idol to type!:rotfl2: So don't kill the messenger, O.K.! Hope I'm wrong, but I don't think so.

The sisters are home safe and sound! Had soooo much fun at the DIS Meet and our two days in the park. My feet are bloody stumps! Just did a fast read through...loved all the pictures everyone posted of their vacations/graduations/birthday parties!

Fabulous pictures...my pics of the sisters were horrible, so I didn't post them....

Bless you, my child!

4th comment - I'm waiting on pins and needles to hear NoSoLittleMermaid's report from the POTC III:AWE Red Carpet. I've been viewing alot of pics and I keep looking for her in the crowd. I found a pic of one friend, but she was working the red carpet so I knew she'd have her picture taken.pirate:

Cheri won't be home till later tonight (well, maybe she is by now!). But she has GREAT pictures from the event.

Must go drag the rest of the luggage out of the car....see I checked in here FIRST!

Special big THANK YOU to Mrs Mork and Dr Hug for the lift back to the hotel! :thumbsup2

We saw the multi-day tickets at costco the other day. They cost $129.00 and are for 4 days. They did have an expiration date sometime in November. good deal if you plan on going 4 times. Comes to about 32.00 per visit. The tickets do have to be used by the same person.
Hopefully they will have something similar next year at this time.

these usually have a start date clock...you use it day one and have 13 or so days to use the rest of the 3 days.

I think you are right on the local ones like Vons. We can get Costco tickets up here in No. Ca which is of course nothing like So. Ca (I'm going to be snotty speaking here) I get really mad that those in So. CA can buy cheaper season passes. seems that we all bear the cost of being in CA together for alot of stuff (we all pay our state taxes), don't get why Disney doesn't value us up in No. CA the same as those is So. CA. I say all of that being an AP for the past 4 years, I pay I pay I pay...Noel, don't get me going on those hotel costs at the Grand. We are going to Dland this weekend and I couldn't stomach the costs again so we are staying offsite at the Best Western accross the street. $129 per night.

POC update - It is opening here on Thursday night. I pick up my Xmas 2005 DCL friend (& daughter) at noon from the airport, we mess around for the day, lunch out, BBque at our house then movie at 8pm. It is playing at a cool theater that has events planned, pirates games prizes..me thinks we'll be in costume. Miss Molly was a bit sad to hear that her costume from 1 1/2 years ago is now indecent. She is all ready for the costume. The real trick will be getting Wil to wear the full gear, wig is the hard part, can you say bribe...:rolleyes1 :woohoo: I'm not below trying.

last note (man I'm talking my head off tonight) sent the request and cc to Hong Kong disney tonight. Hopefully we'll be booked for concierge room for
4th of July. I can't believe we are leaving for China in less than a month :scared1:

okay, I'm done. talk to you guys tomorrow.

I tell you...I check the list all day...not much happens, have a crazy night and come back to 6 pages of posts!! Just my luck :lmao:

Well, as far as the boy vs girl thing....only having girls, I can't compare, but UGH girls can be hard. Mine is only 8 and tonight was an all out brawl between us over homework....really, can it get worse?! :scared1: I think we need to trade kids for a homework hour every few days. I don't know about everyone elses' kids, but if someone else is helping mine, she does so much better.

John...I understand your sons' desire not to want to go with the military way....it has its' pros and cons for sure. Another suggestion would be to start looking into the grants for practicing in underserved areas. Although I have been practicing for 10 years, I just got a grant in Sept. that will go on for 3 years and at the end of it, my loans will be paid in full :yay: :dance3: I don't have to do much different than I was already doing (forgiving debt and sliding scale) but the state now pays me to do so. My medical school debt was close to 85,000 when I graduated so this will be a great relief in 2009 when it is all gone!!!!!!! :woohoo:

As far as plans pre and post cruise....we are flying out on May 9, the 830am flight from Seattle on Alaska that gets into MCO at 530pm (I know only because we just flew it 2 weeks ago). We are going to stay at the airport to make things easier. We talked about hitting a DVC resort for a night, but we wouldn't be there long enough to make it worth it. Then....it is the big hummerzine to get us there! As far as the LA side, I think we are just heading home the day we arrive. No real desire to do DL with memorial day crowds.

And Craig's list is my new best friend:rotfl2: We sold our trailer in 3 days and have started putting other smaller things on there. It amazes me how quickly things sell. Love it and love the no fees!!!!!

Just getting on for the first time since our fun, fun meet! It was so nice to meet those who could attend. Again, thank you, Lisa for setting this up! We are having too much fun at DL to have any DIS time. We have one more Disney day tomorrow then to DrHug's sister's for a couple of days before we head home very early Sunday morning. I will say I am looking forward to having Monday off to rest up from this little vacation! ;)

To the AZ sisters - you are very welcome. It was not really out of our way and we enjoyed having a few more minutes to visit with you.:grouphug:
