'Pirates' May Keep Sailing After This Summer
Insiders Say Depp May Have Interest in More Films

The Los Angeles Times reports that the successful 'Pirates of the Carribean' franchise may continue past the conclusion of this summer's 'At World's End,' long thought to be the final film in the series.
The Times reports that there are murmurs on the Disney set that the film may have sea legs once the trilogy concludes. Insiders have said that Johnny Depp , who plays Captain Jack Sparrow in the films, may have interest in continuing his role.

The production director, Rick Heinrichs, tells the Times "If Johnny's interested, why wouldn't they?"

I was thinking the same thing. I am rarely in the pics. Sometimes wonder if I was really there at all:lmao:

The only trips I've been on with pictures of me are those with other scrapbookers and recently, when we gave DD her own digital camera for Christmas while we were in WDW last December.:thumbsup2

Otherwise, it's as if I dont' exist...:teleport:

Last year, we got an AP discount for a DISmeet at Storytellers.

Woody

Cool :cool1: - thanks!

My problem is my DH will take pictures of me and I'm the smallest item in the picture. But the pictures I take of him are much more close up. So all of our character meal pictures are pretty funny when I scrapbook them - I'm an inch tall and he's like 3 inches tall. We are going to work on picture taking before the crusie.

OT: Elementary School Concerts.....
I remember when I was in elementary we would do 1 or 2 "choir" concerts per year with the whole school. My DD (in 3rd grade) does 1 (3/4 concert) and it is all this weird stuff about harmony, drumming beats, and simple songs. Are all schools teaching this stuff or is it just my DD's? I would love to see them sing some nice songs, not do all this other stuff with pots and pans and boom whackers (yes that is what the teacher called them). Just wondering what other kids were doing. Of course, it was a joy watching DD up there singing and smiling and proud of herself!

In our district, which is in California, they have to "achieve" standards that have been put in place for all classes. I recall her "music" teacher utilizing the sections from the standards list when he did articles for me for the school newsletter.

Our DD's elementary did performances that were centered around a theme that had to do with music from regional areas. I remember "Christmas Down Under" which had music and rhythms and animals from Australia and New Zealand. Next they had one that had to do with the "Ranchos in California" from the early to mid-twentieth century. Their final one in fifth grade had to do with American and the rights that we have here. They were all very enjoyable, though different from what I had grown up with.

Not a traditional song, really, among them.

Her Chorus this year in 6th grade is an elective course and they are doing more "choral" type songs. Not really too much along the lines that I did for so many years in school, but very enjoyable.

Yeah, I wish you luck with that...:thumbsup2

My DH insists on taking pictures of me while I am eating. Usually about 20 shots, one millisecond after the other... Really flattering (NOT)!:confused3

We've avoided the eating shots - he likes to take about 2 minutes to take the shot so I'm usually making a funny face or saying "are you done yet?"

Karen is being very nice. I will not say how I feel about the music shows.:scared:

Any idea if we can use our AP discounts or not? (Not a big deal if we can't.)
We have before, BUT they will only give it to the people on your ticket. We did one ticket for everyone (of course they all prepaid) and got the AP discount.
Last year, we got an AP discount for a DISmeet at Storytellers.
Sounds like we got the answer from Woody and Laura. Javier (Storyteller's Manager) didn't specifically exlude any discounts and I can't imagine why an AP discount couldn't be used. I made the ressie by calling priority dining just like anyone else would so I'm assuming it won't be a problem.

FYI, our meet is now up to 30 people (mix of kids and adults)!!! Should be lots of fun! :dance3:

Don't we all just pay as we go like in Goofy's Kitchen! :confused3

is it DIS green???? :thumbsup2 :lmao: :lmao:

Did ya get it on sale ????:confused3

Oh, you'll just have to wait and see! No, it wasn't on sale, but it was worth paying full price for (full price being $16)---wheeeeee!

I made a turnaround trip to the valley this afternoon. My sister got an appointment with a psychic and asked if I wanted to go with her. I did...it was very intense! Plus, I'm working tomorrow, subbing for a reading teacher friend at my old school. I wish I could just be at home an assimilate what I heard today.

I'm going to have to sign off now--too tired to read any more. I'll be back tomorrow night!
'Bye all!

Lori-Believe it or not, we've never been to Goofy's Kitchen so I'm not sure how the "paying of the bill" there works. At Storyteller's you get the bill at the end, at least that was my experience there. I believe we can ask for individual bills (by family) when we first sit down. So unless you make an agreement with someone who has an AP pass (cuz you'd have to be on their bill), or if you have one, then you'll pay the full amount at the end when your bill comes. Did I just make things more confusing?! :lmao:

I am 34!  Is Kronk someone I should know?

From The Emperor's New Groove? Disney film from 2000? He is also part of the Saturday morning cartoon called the Emperor's New School and the actor, Patrick Warburton, is the voice as you enter Soarin' over California.
