The Moon Spinners, that was another HM movie I liked. I used to watch Disney Channel afterschool and all night when I was a kid!

I'm thinking this was her first one screen kiss....we were all a-twitter.

I'm feeling like a miserable failure .... And the fact that it was Disney made it all the worse. I thought I would be able to have fun with it. :sad2:

:grouphug:

HI GRETCHEN! Welcome!

I'm feeling like a miserable failure at the moment. I just did a demo of the software I support to Disney. We have taxonomic software and I was demonstrating the product using their character names. It didn't go well. The program that I was demonstrating is very new, a bit buggy, and I'm not real familiar with it yet. They were asking questions I couldn't answer and I was showing things that didn't work as I thought they should. It was horrible. And the fact that it was Disney made it all the worse. I thought I would be able to have fun with it. :sad2:

It probably didn't go as badly as you think it did. We are always harder on ourselves than we need to, but I understand the frustration . pixiedust: and thoughts of :beach:

Ok, I'm so sad I am missing all the fun. But I just don't have the time - especially at this time of year.

I missed some Haley Mills talk - boy do I love her! She's still beautiful!

Notice something in someone's signature that I stole??? Hope you don't mind CHERI!!!!

I taped the DCL show last night -was watching something else and want to sit and watch with DH who has very little patience for me and my sis and the DISNEY talk, although he did put up with some at breakfast on Saturday morning!

Ok, folks, back to work!:wizard:

Hi Everyone,
I haven't been on the boards in a while but thought I would say hi. I also wanted to know if anyone knew of any discounts being offered for hotels near Disneyland after our May repo cruise. I was really hoping Disney would offer cruiser's a special deal at Disneyland and their hotels. We called DCL today but so far the CM hadn't heard of any deals.

I doubt it because it is a holiday weekend when we get back. There are quite a few hotels across the street from Disneyland that are not as expensive. I stayed at one in March. It was O.k. for the purpose but no magic going on there.

OK....I think I'm losing my mind. I'm pretty sure somebody asked earlier how many people are required for a Magical Gathering or Grand Gathering or whatever it's called, but now I can't find that post. I'm thinking it was Granmaz or UKangel who asked? Well, anyway, we did this when we did the land/sea package with my family and there were 12 of us, but I think you only need 8. Hope that helps whoever asked! :confused3

Im DisneyLover5 daughter i have been playing on teen boards and it is awsome i thought i just say hi :cheer2:

Wow,

What a long weekend. The airshow was great and the weather was perfect. We were really tired when we got home though. Today, I have been doing laundry and getting ready for the beach on Thursday. The weather is supposed to be great. The campsite that we are going to has no hookups. The only nice thing about it is that the girls are forced to have family time. No computers or T.V.

GOOOOOOOO

GATORS!!!!!

Keep your wits about you boys, play safe and smart and no matter what....Gator Nation is behind you!:woohoo:

Have a great time camping this weekend! Sounds wonderful! We're supposed to get snow Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun, so I'll be really jealous of you at the beach....soak up some extra sun on my behalf! :goodvibes

Well, I'm not really surprised because we usually get one last substantial snowfall mid-April. This one's just a bit early. It'll sure put a damper on the Easter egg hunt my dad does for us every year! But we're pretty cut-throat about it, so I'm sure we'll all be out there with our baskets, looking like idiots, racing around the yard, trying not to knock the kids over, fighting to get the most eggs! :rotfl2: I decided many years ago that all the neighbors must look forward to our crazy escapade each year---about 6 adults on a very competitive (and downright mean at times) egg hunt! :rotfl: Hmmmmm......I'm sensing a redneck joke in there somewhere, but can't come up with one. Maybe something like this: If you knock down at least 2 children to get to the hidden Easter egg first, you might be a redneck. ;) I wonder who will be the lucky one this year to find the leftover eggs from last year that nobody could find?

Before we had kids we used to hide lottery tickets in the Easter eggs. That could get pretty insane sometimes.:rotfl:

That would be fun! My dad and stepmom boil and dye 4 dozen eggs and write a number on each one. My dad is the one who hides the eggs and my stepmom randomly picks a number ahead of time to be the winning egg number. After we've found all the eggs, she tells us what the winning number is, we all check our eggs to see who has it, and the winner gets the prize (usually a $50 gift card somewhere or sometimes $50 cash). All the little kids each get a card telling them they're a winner with a few bucks inside.
