Good to see you. I've missed you, but hope you have had a great vacation in Montana. We have been fairly busy some days posting!!

We did have a wonderful trip. The MH is great, no lugging suitcases in and out. The University is pretty, they were very nice and most helpful. DGS has decided for sure that is where he wants to go. It was great visiting with old friends. Now I cannot wait to get the house sold, retired (363 more days!) and get moved over there. It was just so pretty.

Yes, March 30, 2008 is my target retirement date. We plan to have our home base in Missoula, Montana with our motorhome as our second home and DVC as our third home. We plan to travel the US and park in John1's driveway!

I would love that schedule. I wish we could move to a more year-round schedule here. I don't see it happening, though. I'm just envious at the thought of being able to go to WDW during January when it's at its quietest. Have you ever gone then?

No, not yet, but it's in our "plan". I have friends who have and they said it's a great time to go....weather is good and the parks are "quiet".

Jaide....DD8....does Hip Hop and Cheerleading (dance style). She did tap and ballet, but moved onto the faster speed stuff. DD5 does Hip hop and tap. I tap dance...well try to. Quite a site seeing me on stage during recital time

I'm back!! There is no way I can catch up. I'll just jump in here and someone can let me know if I missed anything important about the cruise plans.

Just had the most brilliant idea.....



I've just seen on the DCL site that the Eastbound transatlantic repo cruise on May 12th is selling cat 12 staterooms for $999!!!!!!!! That's for 14 nights too!

Now then, we cruise with DCL on the 5th May for 7 days and are due to fly home on the 12th May..........can you see where this is leading?......

I think it would be a MUCH better idea, rather than fly home, for us to get back on board and bring that lovely ship across the ocean to Europe....don't you??

Mark has just said 'NO'.....but he has to go to work....and I don't!!!!!


Well....what do you guys reckon? (or do you think this would lead to divorce?)

We haven't (and still don't) have internet or cable. We can't get ahold of comcast to switch it over to the new house. (Comcast costumer service is HORRIBLE). So no Dis for me unles I am at school (where I should be studying) and I have an online coarse.

If anyone would like to do a summary and post it on the website for those of us who can't get on often it would be great.

Can't speak for the last part of April, but the beginning of May is a great time to be there. For the most part all of the Spring Breakers will be gone by then so you should be fine!

By the 27th of April you should be fine. Not sure if there is anything at WDW at that time (flower and garden show at Epcot), but no major school holidays. It should be moderately busy since it is Spring, but NOT like Spring Break weeks, and Easter Holiday.

The Moon Spinners, that was another HM movie I liked. I used to watch Disney Channel afterschool and all night when I was a kid!

Well, almost a day here. Closing so it's been hectic and the rest of the week will be also. I wish the darn game was not on so late! My gosh.....great for the West Coasters though.
I hope it is a good game. I don't like all the hype that Fl has been getting, I feel that is very helpful in self destruction. OSU is a great team and ended the season number one and also has a what -22 win streak or something..seems some of the commentators forgot about this and are jumping wagons.

Maybe I will break out the SEC memory game to play with the girls tonight.....definitely going to read them their Gator bedtime stories!!

Other than that I am exhausted today and feel like I am coming down with a cold...yuck!

My mom never really explained what the neurologist said, in fact, I think she made something up. But she is supposed to take some experimental medication for 30 days and go back....she has yet to start taking it. She is worried about the side effects.

I only appreciate the fact that the cruise is 400ish days away so that I can save up lots of money for shutters, DOD's and goodies...otherwise I wish it were tomorrow (but that would not leave me enough planning time, )

I'm feeling like a miserable failure at the moment. I just did a demo of the software I support to Disney. We have taxonomic software and I was demonstrating the product using their character names. It didn't go well. The program that I was demonstrating is very new, a bit buggy, and I'm not real familiar with it yet. They were asking questions I couldn't answer and I was showing things that didn't work as I thought they should. It was horrible. And the fact that it was Disney made it all the worse. I thought I would be able to have fun with it.

If you go to the Travel Channel's website, you can have e-mail reminders sent to you when the show is going to be on again. If I remember correctly, most of the Disney ones are running next on April 12. I had reminders sent to me a day ahead so I won't miss them. DS9 really wants to see the show about the Imagineers. That's what he wants to be when he grows up. (Or an actor, or filmmaker, or.....).
