YEAH SOPHIA!!!

So did Amy ride too?:confused3

Wish we were there now, but we'll see you bright and early Saturday!!

I am still shocked at the American Idol results but hey, it now is proven it is a popularity contest. I am toying with the idea of going to my WW meeting. I did not have a good week and don't really want to meet the scale but I guess I better buck up and go. :thumbsup2

We've had quite a few accidents around here lately. A man was crossing I-75 yesterday am and was struck and killed by a tractor trailer. He was 30 and it closed down the interstate until after 11 am. Today there is a tanker fire that has closed 375 and they are trying to see if it has done any structural damage. Not sure if anyone is hurt yet....everyone, be safe out there! Just seems like a lot of accidents lately.

Not much going on today. My sister is coming down tonight. Then she and mom are coming back tomorrow to go out to dinner. My mom has a dr's appt tomorrow...she's had sinus, face swelling issues for quite a while, they finally did an MRI last week and she is seeing a neurologist tomorrow. I know she is pretty worried...hopefully everything is ok.

John's got a ball game tonight, not sure what time as they are in the playoffs now. Hopefully Grey's is a new episode!!

You have got a lot going on there! Hope your mom is ok and they can sort the facial/sinus problems easily.

How awful about the accidents. It is so sad when someone dies.

Morning boys and girls. I planned on checking in last night...but went right to bed after "Lost". Still a little behind on my sleep, since I can't keep my nose out of my book!

LOVE the pink Tink!

Speaking of Matt Lauer.... ;) ...he is a very, very nice man! ::yes:: I got to drive him around in a golf cart a quite few years back, when NBC had a conference here at the Biltmore. My sweet boss volunterred me for the day to drive him back and forth from the resort to various spots on the golf course where we were doing promo shoots. I made sure I showed up PLENTY early to get in some practice as I had never driven a golf cart before! Didn't know it was so easy. Had a great day AND wasn't chained to me desk!

Well, off to check the main DCL board then time to hit the shower!

Later kids........

Of course she did! She did not ride the first time because it was a 40 minute wait, but rode with us the second time.

I hope they are more in a mood to get up Saturday - I am letting them sleep in today so that they are not grumpy. Amy and Sophia are still in bed!:rotfl2:

Morning John. Why oh why can't folk get up and GO in the mornings at Disney?:confused3 I am always up and down for a coffee in the food hall just waiting for John!! Grrr.

Have a good day. What are your plans?

Just an FYI for any who might have an interest in other than AI, Survivor, or such stuff, tonight at 10:00 on National Geographic, part of the program will be about the moving of our Church. In 1958, our church decided to move locations for expansion. They actually cut the church in half, and moved it accross town. My dad was one of the people who helped move it.

Of course, the program notes do not mention our church, but the other one.

I am thinking MGM, and then MK today - with maybe a swim in between that is becoming less possible as my sleepy-heads continue to snore. We have dinner at Ohana tonight (new one for us - we heard good reviews so wanted to try). I must say though, if it weren't for the DIS, I might be making them get up - maybe the internet access is not such a good thing!

I wish I could watch that. I will keep an eye out over here for the programme.

It may be you who is Grumpy and not them today!!!:) Will be inteested to hear how you like Ohana. We haven't been, but it always looks interesting.
Ate you going on ToT?

Had a good time at the gym, if one is really able to say that!:rotfl: It was a 1-2-1 with my key instructor, so I had to work hard on the circuit. This is interval training, and I did well apparently!!! Need a lie down now!

Did a great hooping class yesterday. Do you know? 10 minutes of hooping uses 100 calories!! Our instructor was at classes last week taken by a lady over from CA - they were hooping with fire hoops!:scared1: It is such good fun and the 'in' thing at the moment. Do try it if you can.:dance3:
GREAT JOB on your workouts! :thumbsup2 Keep up the good work! I don't think we have hooping around here because I had never heard of it until you started doing it. Sounds very fun though!

Lots of    for your mom! :flower3:

How cool John! I'll try to remember to check it out. :thumbsup2

And I don't look like the girls in the Youtube vid down the page either:lmao: , but we have just been practicing the hooping on our hands!!

Is Art the older African-American gentleman? That is who greeted us. He kept saluting and smiling, and was really nice. That is the only guy I saw greeting incoming guests.

Yup, that's him. I'm so glad to hear he's still there.

Thanks for all the trip reports. I love reading them and seeing the wonderful pictures of Sophia.

Have a Disney Day!

Are you going on ToT?

Nahhhh! I am the late to bed - early to rise person in the family. I like my sleep, but I just feel like I am missing life if I don't get up!

Of course I am going on ToT - and Rockin' Roller Coaster! I have no fears of such stuff. Love it! Of course, Sophia just informed me we are now going to MK - perhaps all day. So, maybe MGM tomorrow.
