Should we all turn up in pink for the Champagne Girls get together?:cutie:

great idea Maz!:thumbsup2

Totally not on any topic, just sharing...

DD just put a sign up in here: Come to Layla's Kabob Shop

So, I did. I guess she'd been downstairs making kabobs of raisins and sliced string cheese. Loose raisins were free. Kabobs cost a hug AND a smooch. Her brother got a deal. He only has to pay with a hug (she says his smooches are too slimy).

(Layla's not her name. We decided that since she and I don't have sisters, we would be each other's sisters. Every now and then she changes our sister names. Used to be Rose and Sunflower. Lately, it's Layla and Elayla.)

Carolyn

Lovely story Carolyn, your dd sounds so sweet, bless her!

That would be appropriate...I like hot pink and have several outfits...hmmm....what to wear?....and shoes....I do have hot pink shoes too!

Hot pink was my theme for the 11 night southern and so I bought the outfits. I think I'll do aqua blue for the 15 night WB repo. Have to buy clothes and shoes...!!!:hippie:

ooooooh more shopping....mmmmmmmmm.......Deb, we could be shopping sisters!:lmao: ;)

She's 5. No pictures. Bad mom. Don't scrapbook, either. I will save the sign, though. She does a lot of stuff that probably should be chronicled. In her next life, with her perfect mom:)...

Carolyn

I'm going to be that Mum too in my next perfect life........;)

Had to look. Found a recipe for Pink Panty Droppers:

18 cans beer
1 bottle Everclear® alcohol
1 bottle tequila
1 1/2 jugs, pre-made pink lemonade

First add all 18 cans of beer to a large container. Add bottles of Everclear and tequila and last but not least add the pink lemonade. Place lemon slices in the mixture for extra flavor. Let sit for a few hours, then serve.

**I think I'd need to worry more about passing out than dropping panties after drinking this. Is this how you make it Kaylee? I, also, saw it with vodka rather than Everclear...

Carolyn

:scared1:

Well, my DH has my daughter and now one of her friends as well. The flight takes off from Tampa at 6:15pm (about 6 minutes) and they are on board!!

Today, a total of 8 students are sick (out of 40).....Annie and Laura are the first to leave.

I bought trip insurance on this trip. The trip was $2,000 and the insurance was $159. I am on the phone now with Worldstrides and they say the insurance only covers injury not illness. This really makes me mad.

Glad to hear she's back with you now. Bummer about the insurance tho. Hope she's better soon.

Well, I FOR ONE will find out soon! My hubby has business in Sweden in August and after we are heading your way!!! I've ALWAYS wanted to visit - even have some long lost cousins in Wales! Horseback riding thru your country side is CALLING ME!

You'll have a great time, we hav family in Wales too and hope to move there in a couple of years. The riding is really good I hear...dd loves riding :)

My Disney World Custom Maps are on the way!!!:mickeyjum

Just got an email from them, talk about great customer service!!!:thumbsup2

Woohoo!!:woohoo:

Karen

Hi Angel, Did you read about what you have started....:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

but, we're having soooooo much fun with it!!!! Thanks to you!:lmao: :lmao:

Have a great few days in the old neighborhood. I'll tell John you'll say hi to the pier. We figured out that maybe you and he were there around the same time. quaint, isn't it. maybe around 1970-71ish.....

and it all started with a coffee........:rotfl2:

I was certainly in Southend in 1970 (and before) but didn't work near the pier til 1977 (I must look older than I am!:scared1: );) :rotfl2:

As of now, we have 11 drinkers and 8 non. We'll probably get some more as time goes on. We are having lots of fun with it!!!:goodvibes

Don't want the other 2 to feel left out so here is a picture of the 2 of them:

100_1391.jpg

Jasper is on the left - he's 5 and weighs 14 1/2 pounds.

Sweetie is on the right - She's 6 and weighs 9 pounds.

She was in the cubbie first but she likes to hold her ground when he tries to squeeze her out.

so sweet! love your cats :thumbsup2

OK ladies, you heard him......No need to pack undies. John's bringing a supply for us! And we expect them to come pre-bedazzled. :rotfl:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

How do I explain to my husband that I don't have to pack my unmentionables, because some guy named John is bringing them??

Carolyn

:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

But, then, it would be, "Noel's husband, John, is bringing my underwear!" Not a conversation that would ease us into vacation mode...You all would have to meet me at the dock, drinks in hand...so much for Designated Walker status!

Carolyn

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Alright, will give into the temptation. Meet one of our gift to our daughter's for Christmas - - - Pumpkin and Macaroni

Sweet cats! and sweet little girls too!:):thumbsup2

All I have to say is A.I. sucked the big panties that John is going to have to bring me. I liked maybe two of of them. I liked Gwen Stephani when she was with No Doubt but to have her as a helper?:confused3 That's like having Brittany Spears help out. :rotfl:

no! don't tell me! we don't get AI til Friday!;)

drat! I thought I could have a bit of fun here before I left but the boards are up and down....so 'au revoir' my friends, 'talk' to you all at the weekend!:grouphug:

Good Morning!

T-minus 58 minutes to Epcot!

Cute, Cute pictures!

Used to be cat people until we lost our two after 12 years. Now we are dog people - and DD is alergic to cats now too.

Have a great day John, Amy and Sophia. Have a ride on Test Track for me!

:thumbsup2 Roger - will do!

Having lunch at Norway today with the Princesses too.

Last night we had dinner at Boma, and it was a Great dinner! I think Sophia had about 5 of those Zebra Domes for dessert, along with about 3 sccops of chocolate mousse. So far, not that crowded - I'll let you know how Epcot is. I think next week and the following week are the BIG Spring Break weeks. We may be lucky.

I love to see the little princesses on their way to Norway for their meals. So cute!

I have only had breakfast at Boma, worried the food may be a little too different for a plain meat and veg guy. I think I would like it though. Same with Jiko which gets great reviews.

I hope Ariel is at Norway when I am there. I am going this Sunday. I'm thrilled to hear it isn't that crowded. You may have already said this but which resort are you staying at and for how long. We will be at the All Star Music from Friday - Monday.

They had a wonderful flank steak last night, which should satisfy the meat part. The potatoes were African spiced, but I liked them very much. I also had a WONDERFUL chicken corn porridge that was just delicious. There are a lot of vegetarian offerings, rices, hummas, etc. There is always mac and cheese and pasta on the kid's station!

The flatbreads are also very tasty.

I really think they have something for everyone, and the food is tasty. I really like the African spices, but it is not too spicy! We also got to talk to a nice young man from Botswana who was out at the Savannah observation area. He was wearing long sleeves and long pants because he was COLD!:rotfl2:

We are at Beach Club Villas.

Hate to say it, but this weekend they start later hours because of anticipation of more crowds. We leave on Sunday to get back home for school next week. Maybe we will pass at MCO - we fly out about 3:00 pm on Southwest airlines and storm door company.

.....so Sophia and I went for a swim in Storm-a-Long-Bay. She likes that waterslide too - but the water is over her head at the bottom!

No fear though, she wants to do it without the vest, and swim to me at the rope! After checking in and unpacking, we went to Animal Kingdom for a couple of hours, and then to Boma for a Great dinner.

Watched the Epcot fireworks from our balcony, and now just chilling before a full day at Epcot and Animal Kingdom tomorrow. Can't wait to see Vanessa and Family on Saturday!

Man, you are killing me here! I still have a little over 8 months (I think...better check my ticker) till my WDW visit. Glad you are having a great time. I love, love, love Boma!

We're a little in front of you Jackie, arriving at WDW on 25th Nov, but I can't wait and am beginning to think more about it! I have hesitated booking the accommodation around the cruise as we will have to pay a deposit, and it seems we have paid out so much recently. We are off to Lanzarote in 3 weeks too, which has had to be paid for.

Lanzarote is a Spanish Island off the coast of North Africa, part of the Canary Islands. It is basically volcanic, but it is a great place to go for a winter sun break, or spring sun break in our case! If we lived in Arizona of course we wouldn't feel the need for that!:rotfl:

Hey, is the older gentlemen (great description, but I can't think of his name right now, Bill maybe?) still working the door there? My girls love chatting with him....he was showing them all the hidden mickey's on the carosel in december and telling them that they should stay there again instead of OKW since BCV is much better!

John -
Glad to hear you're having a great time. I'm so jealous, but I found out I get to stay at the BC in May for a conference. I'll definitely avoid the water slide now.

I also wanted to ask about Art, the Beach Club greeter. I heard a rumor that he retired. That would definitely be a loss for Disney.

I think we wore everybody out yesterday with our pink Champagne Sassy Bubbles day!!! Hangover or something!!

Thought I would share some pictures of Lily Ann.
