May 10, 2008 Ship of Thieves! Stealing the Magic..AGAIN!!! Panama Canal FL to CA!!! Part 3

I keep popping on to keep my eye on it. I don't like it at all when it nears the bottom of the page . Never, ever allow it to move to page 2!!

There are only a handful of us posting on my other cruise thread and it goes off to page 3 sometimes!

I never see what page it's on, so I can't help out there. On my other cruise thread, one woman always says she'll get out her whip if we don't post more to keep in on page 1. Again, I never see what page that one's on either, but she cracks me up! In fact, next to her name in her signature, she has a smiley cracking a whip!

We had an eventful morning. Our power must have gone out in the middle of the night and I did not have batteries in the alarm clock. OOPS! We got DD to school on time but it was crazy. My DH just left for work. I think I learned my lesson on this one.

OH NO! Sorry for your headache this morning. What a way to start your day.

She sounded so terrible this morning.....she was crying and saying she felt horrible. The teachers talked her into trying to stay anyway. Advil...Tylenol....she said okay she felt better.

11:30am...she called crying ....fever 104.....I got my husband on a flight from Dulles (glad we live 10 minutes away) at 12:41...takes off in about 2 minutes. I need to rent a car for him and then he can drive right to the Busch Gardens Health Center.....that is pretty cool.....so she does not need to walk at all.

Back to airport catch a 6:15 flight back home and in her bed at 8:30pm.

I feel so much better that I know she is on her way home.

Please pray for my husband and Annie......

Now on my way to the doctor with 2nd DD. She smashed her finger in te car door last night and we tried to treat it with ice and meds......she need to be seen...soonest for her was 2:30pm today. I think it must be a broken thumb.

okay, please pray for Gretchen as well.....

Oh my goodness! Well, I'm glad to hear one is on the way home and one is on the way to get treated. What a mess! Hang in there! Hopefully everybody will be fine before you know it.

Yes, of course you can. Anyone who wants to can be a Champagne GIRLS Official Mascot.....but first you have to ge the name right!!! HA HA HA HA!!!

We'll just have to pick a mascot. Do you like the Pink Pussycats Champagne Girls???? It'll be easy to get into costume for all of those who want to be mascots.

Mandy, O Original One, what do you think would be a good mascot for your girls?

I love the group and logo. I would love to join the Champagne Girls. I don't drink but maybe I can bring some non-alcoholic bubbly stuff for us that can't handle the other. What do you guys think? I was going to ask Karen about any good non-alcoholic wine but I keep forgetting when she is on.

I used to hate taking sick days for the kids being sick. I used to feel so guilty about not being at work but I would feel worse about taking a sick kid to school so good call.

I had a boss who was outwardly so nice about kids being sick, but always asked a gazillion questions trying to treat/diagnose over the phone, so that I could get back to work. (No, he didn't have kids at the time.) DS18 had real issues with asthma when he was little (doctor gave us an open prescription for liquid steroids and we'd start medicating right before we called the doctor). ANYWAY, I started stopping by work after taking DS to the doctor, so my boss could see and hear just how sick he was. One day, I had my son pull up his shirt so bossman could see how retracted his lungs were into his ribs. Didn't question me too much after that!

Oh how silly, I didn't picture it that way....more like cat makeup and everybody can wear pink clothes....pants, shirts, dresses, shorts, even a bathing suit, I don't care....and everybody can pin on a tail and ears in pink!!! cute!!!!
