I read somewhere, not sure where, that the May repo in '05 only had a 1/3 the normal amount of kids or something like that. I thought that there were so few kids they actually opened up the kids club to adults one night. I know there are a few here who cruised then...am I right about this? . . .
Yes, the kids clubs were open on two nights for adults.

That sounds amazing! Bet there will be some great 3 generation pics taken on that trip. Can't wait to hear about it.

Sounds like a great scrapbook to me!!;)

Karen, wishing I could go to China too (If only to visit Hong Kong Disney!!!)

Boo hooo...no one on this cruise is on our 10/28/07 Halloween cruise. Only a total of 5 pages on that thread. Imagine! :confused3

We have 10 pages on our thread but only about 4 active posters. Many of the original posters jumped ship to other cruises.

Wow,

You would think those would be really active threads since it is Halloween and New Year's Eve cruises. I guess not everyone can be as cool as us. :rotfl: I wish I could go on either of those. This waiting is going to kill me.

I think it's because most people don't know about DIS yet. When we do our Halloween cruise, we'll use our fish extender and Mickey out the door with decorations and maybe get tee shirts to try and spread the word.

Or maybe it's a great place to be because it's such a "closed" group and then you get the best of the best not just the multitudes.

Not sure why it works the way it does, but if it's not broken, don't fix it!

Yes sometimes it works great that way. For my first cruise in September we were not a huge group but very chatty. It ended up being a great group. :goodvibes

Does anyone have any clue as to who the Captain of our cruise is going to be??? I have a favorite....Captain Henry and his lovely wife Melissa. Captain Henry was the best on the 11 night Southern. You could always see him walking the ship and engaging conversations with everyone. It was like he was one of us and he personally wanted to make sure everyone was happy. And his wife Melissa was just as special. DH and her got to share a kyack ride and she was with us when we swam with turtles in Barbados. She was schricking with delight and excitement so hard, you could hear her under the water. She was happier about it than I was and I was at my peak! They were a great couple of good people that I would love to see again.

I have no idea. That would be great if it was him. I hear wonderful things about him.

They sound just lovely. Don't the captains rotate on a fixed schedule? We had Captain Thord on our first two cruises on DCL. Wonder if anyone knows what their schedule might be?

Every evening after returning to our stateroom, I read the Navigator and I circle a half a dozen things I want to do the following day....If I get to two of them, I'm happy. Somehow I just get caught up in the pool and drinks and spas and shows and chatting with people and then opppppssssss, time just passes by somehow. :confused3

I just remember reading that the captain on the other repo would not release total control to the panama pilot last time. I wonder if that was Captain Henry. I think maybe because they hit last time.:rotfl:
