I thought so too! Of course, I'll probably have my usual breakdown at around 5 days because I can't take the whining and fits, etc. with no break 24/7 (because at least at home I have work or him going to his dad's which gives me that desperately needed break from his high energy level), BUT Tyler will have a great time again, as always, and that's what matters most!

We were finalists for Wife Swap after the first year but we decided the money was not worth it because they show the worst of people and while I think we lead a wonderful life, going to church, homeschooling, active in many community activities, etc. live in nice neighborhood, travel, etc. BUT that got me worried about who the swap would be with and after watching several years of the shop on and off I am glad we opted out! They even called back 1.5 years ago offering more money - and we still said no.

It would be terrible if they would send the swap wife on my disney cruise!

Oh, I'm so glad you didn't do this show. They for sure would have swapped you with the worst possible family. I can't even watch that show any more. It just seems so fake. I'm sure that thats the family's true selves, but to swap to such a drastic degree is just stupid. I don't see the entertainment in it. What happend to learning and embracing our diversity. Now it just seems that people think their life style is right and there are no other shades of life

I'm not supposed to, but schools are closed, so that means I can't work. However, since I worked Saturday and have been working extra hours every single day, my paycheck will still be very nice! We're just enjoying an extra day to be lazy and have fun together!

I will PM you with an article I'm writing for little kids about the role of the pharmacist. If you wouldn't mind checking it out for me.

I would love to check it out. With all of the regulations and legal restraints nowadays, it is hard to do what we should be doing. It may sound funny coming from a "pill pusher" (hate the term), but there are just too many unnecessary prescriptions being written nowadays, we we have to fill them, by law, whether or not we want to,, unless it is a phoney, or blatantly wrong.

Well our family is cruising with you on this wonderful Panama cruise. We are so excited. I regret however that I have not been able to keep up with this thread. It is a lot different from others I have been on. Not too much cruise talk, and vacation planning going on. We have been really busy getting rental car and hotels lately. I would love to hear from others as to what your plans are. We will be flying in on the 9th. Overnighting at the Sheraton in the Coco Becah Surf company, and then boarding early. After this cruise we are renting from Avis .2 miles from the port, then heading straight to DL for 2 days. Then on to Malibu. Vegas, and finally 1 day in Sonoma and 1 day at pier 39/Alcatraz in San Fran. Then sadly flying home. This will be a wonderful 24 day vacation for us. We are so ready. I went and bought new Mickey luggage, and am getting ready to make the Mickey head paint chips from Home Depot luggage tags. We have designed our door signs and such. I will hopefully be able to print them soon.

I just had a minute to check in and thought I would grab it. I am sorry that I do not get to post much. I try to catch up each day at some point, but I am lost. I see something about lanyards...but again....lost

Have they looked into dietary considerations? There is an expert here in Portland that treats ADD, ADHD, etc. without drugs, and he is very good. I met a lady and her little girl at one of the Pharmacies here, that drives up from San Francisco for office visits. She had glowing reports.

I have a question - I booked this cruise through DCL and am being tempted with OBC's being offered.

I am scared to transfer a cruise - especially one that is sold out.

Anyone have any advice?

As I'm sure most have told you already.... Go for it. I don't think there is anything to worry about. DU is so familur with DCL that I don't think there is anything to worry about. And who can say no to free money.

OK, so here's a little about Bob, Bob's stand up is considered one of the bluest (dirtiest) in the business. I think it became even worse as he tried to shed his image of Full House and America's Most Funniest Videos. Off stage he is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. After my fire, he gave me his desk (in fact, everyone from Full House supplied me with clothes, linens, furniture, and money.) He said, "Kelly, I wrote some great stuff on this desk for 11 years and now I'm going to pass it on to you to write on." I'm sitting at that desk right now! I heard all about the act from the PC 05 and it didn't sound good, it was the wrong audience for his material. Disney bookers should have known better. Great guy, don't care for his current stand up. He is a wonderful director and won a student academy award. He is extremely smart.

I agree. Go for it. We do this every year, and it is fine. We have not had any problems aand it works out very well. It is a very common practice.

I just found this picture of MrsMork & me with our DGS and the band geeks at the Toon Town Fire Dept. That was the most fun I have had at DL. Well, except for 9/9/67 of course. That was a much better kind of fun.

Did you do Multnomah Falls and the gorge area?

Nope, sorry.

We left Bethlehem, PA, drove west to Ohio, north through Michigan to Mackanac, west across the upper penninsula of MI, south through Wisconsin to get to Minneapolis-St. Paul to see the Mall of America.

Then north to Hibbing Minnesota to see the iron mines--DH worked for Bethlehem Steel at the time and that was one of their iron mining sites. West through North Dakota, Montana, dipped into Wyoming to see Yellowstone again.

North to Glacier only to discover that the permitted length of vehicles through the park on the Highway to the Sun had been decreased another 12 inches since our research so we had to loop south of the park on Rt, 2. I did the tour-guide thing and named peaks as we went based on glacier patterns. Since we had expected to drive through, we did not have enough time scheduled to camp a day and take the van transport so that was all we saw of Glacier.

Staying north we went through Idaho and into Washington. We stopped at Grand Coulee Dam and went on to Seattle. We ate at a waterfront restaurant and the next day started south. We went to the Aquarium, then south on Redwood Highway to see the TREES!

South to Disneyland a couple days and then east to PA through Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio.

In 1986 DH and figured out that if we planned our trips well, we could hit all 48 of the contiguous states before DS#1 was a Senior in High School, so he became a MAN WITH A MISSION.
