Me too! And I love to cook. Mark commented that I haven't been myself and I explained it's because I hate dieting and food is so much of what we do...we entertain with friends and family and when you're dieting, it's not as much fun to diet. Not to mention, I've banned alcohol because that's a huge diet buster for me. So not happy right now but I will be in a few months after I've lost some weight. That's what I keep telling myself!

you sound just like me, food is a huge part of our life....DH has no problem eating and maintaining.....me, well.....I expand!:lmao:

I booked about 2 weeks ago. the trick is to fly on a Tues. or Wed. nonstop.

That's why...we can only fly in on Friday due to STAR testing at my boy's school. If I could fly on Wed it would have been $94!!! Oh well, such is life!

What are everyone's plans for sunday?
I forgot to answer this part! Oops....another scatter-brained moment! :rotfl:

Our Sunday is church at 9:30, a quick snack for Tyler to keep the the monster at bay, Cherub Choir for Tyler from 11-12, home for lunch, maybe a nap for Tyler or rent Underdog, or maybe a quick visit to the RV show, then back to church at 4:30 for week 2 of a 4 week class.

PJ,

The last time we went to DL we went to BAB. They actually have an outfit that has a Disneyland shirt, Mickey or Minnie ears and a pair of Mickey gloves. Got the Mickey for Chewy (only one we had at the time) and would like to see if our daughter (who has annual passes) can get us a Minnie. Went to the one in Orlando but they didn't have anything for WDW. Would love to find one. Not sure which other outfits they had. I know the local stores only have Woody and his girlfriend, Buzz, Little Mermaid and a couple of the princesses.

Carol

Don't get your hopes up about what they will have because they change their supply every month. Each time we say we'll go back and get something we saw, it is never there again.

What are everyone's plans for sunday?
Mom and I are heading to Williams-Sonoma for a cooking demonstration/class (free is for me) and then we will have lunch at Johnny Rocket's or Red Robin and then we are hitting the Mall. I have to return some items that I bought during their sale last week online (cruise wear) so out of 11 pairs of pants/capris/crops I ended up with 7 pair that fit  Some will get made into Capri's from Crops, or Capri's from Pants but since most didn't cost more then $11 its not that bad a deal! Then its onto Cabela's (does anyone else have one near by) I am going to bring my Camera and ask them if its ok i take photos (i always ask afraid of copyright infringement) if i get any i'll post them here for all to see! I have Sun/Mon off so I am glad its my weekend! --Lisa/lbgraves-- what does WM mean? (abbreviation meaning challenged)

I love WS cooking classes.

I'm a foody, all about food. I'm pretty sure I was the model for Remy!!!

Is anyone taking the cooking class in Mexico?

Was it Tyler who wanted to drive one of those houses and vacation for a job? :rotfl: We love RV shows too! Can't wait to drive our house and vacation for a job. ;)

This is a second choice for me, but I didn't want to go cooking alone, lol.

That would be me...it bums me out sometimes. Just recently DH starting seeing some gains (he's 41...it's about time) but nothing drastic. So he tells me this morning that my diet is having a positive effect on him--he lost 5 lbs! SO NOT FAIR!!!! He's just doing it half the time!!! Such is life!

That would be Tyler! My dad has one of the kinds you pull behind your truck...forgive my lack of knowledge of the terminology, and that's what got Tyler hooked. It's quite large, but Tyler insists that we need what he calls "a driving camper"! :lmao: The reason he likes these shows is that he thinks he's picking out the one he's convinced I'm going to buy for us! :rotfl2: It's so funny! He's very particular about what he wants and knows the minute we step in one if it's right or not. I keep telling him there are many problems with this idea. 1) I don't camp. 2) I can't drive something that large. 3) We'd have to PAY to store it somewhere when not using it. 4) I can't afford to take enough time off work to use one. 5) I can't afford to BUY one! There are many other reasons too, but I just can't think right now. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

are you right on the water, V? Sounds wonderful...

I wish! We are stuck in between the water! I live on a corner - across the street is a canal to the intercoastal, at the other end of my street is the actual intercoastal.
But from the front door to the beach is less than half a mile...so we're good!:cool1:

I want to do this, but I need to call DCL and make sure it isn't going to be all shell fish cooking. Big Allergy, so that would be a waste of time and money for me. If not, I'd like to do it. Of course, we could all walk away with the "don't eat the food in mexico" stomach. What do you guys think about the safety issue? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

we could always have Lisa or another Mod change pg 1.

I think we should wait for Laura to come back and join us or give permission to change it on her bahalf. I'm hoping she will be able to join us soon.:goodvibes

v's tip of the day - how to get your house smelling great.....

purchase air diffuser.....
set said air diffuser up in a central location....

proceed to knock off said air diffuser onto the floor, smashing the glass container all over the floor leaking the heavily scented oil also all over the floor.....

let dog track through the spilled oil and run throughout the house and small child on riding vehicle do the same.

You painted a pretty good scene there V. Sorry to hear it made such a mess, but glad your house smells good. Lemonade from Lemons, huh?
