I left work at 3:15 because I just couldn't pretend to be busy any longer. Plus, I was anxious to get home and install my AT&T internet. I got home 5 minutes before the guy came to connect my phone line, then I pulled everything out of the box and I got my internet going!

I still haven't configured the wireless part yet....just had to get a taste of the wonderfulness of being able to be on the internet at home again! After dinner I'll get the wireless going and can be a couch potato again with my laptop.

I think everyone on this site is very supportive and sometimes its good to get it out there...then you find out how much we have in common. I remember years ago I had my first miscarraige(I've had at least three documented) I was open about it but felt alone and it was before I had kids so didn't know if I could even have any kids and when I would talk to people they would say oh yes that's common I had one too ...it turned out so many people had it happen and some people I knew for years and didn't know so I'm open about it and things like that because you never know who you might be helping Hang in there As Noel would say...."just my thoughts"

Holly- we all love your Tyler already(and you too) I wouldn't worry about what people think(I know easier said than done)...I'm sure you'll find a lot of support from all of your DISer friends...I'm including myself in that bunch You and Tyler are going to have a ball on this cruise

Hi everybody, I have not bee on this site for a while. Frank took very ill again and we had to rush him back to the hospital. I was with him at 1pm in the afternoon when he started bleeding from his nose and mouth. We got him to the emergency room at the Rehab center and then we were going to transfer him back to the same hospital by ambulence. Well, there was no room at the hospital and they told us we had a 36 - 48 hour wait

Well we opted for a different hospital and by the time we got him there it was 1am .....12 hours after he took sick.

No one can tell us where all that blood came from....he needed to get 4 pints transfused into him.

Anyway, needless to say, it has been way too busy here. I just figured out I am 65 pages behind

So sorry that things aren't improving!

What would be a good saying to have imprinted on it?
Would you all want a DIS "badge" too or just the lanyard?
I kind of like the idea of making badges complete with pictures. Would be cool imo. Could make them like the cast wears with dis name and our home location.
I could mail them out to you all from home if that would work for everyone. Someone had mentioned $5 but even custom ones with nice hardware is still under $5 each.
Any other suggestions?

I checked with the place Wendy got our lanyards for the december cruise and the cost per lanyard for 100 (did not know how many we would order so I just went with that) would be around 2.50 each including the holder and shipping. He still has the disney font so he can use that.

Thanks Angie, I didn't know this.....will the private dining room hold 36 people? That's how many I have for ladies only tea. Also, who faxes to DCL? Me or TA? What's the fax number? or where do I find it listed? Thank you for your help with this.

It will hold 14. I have no idea how to get ressies for 36. You would do the faxing yourself. I will pm the number and the wording I have used when I get home and get it.

I wonder if I could get a concierge volunteer to ask about a tea party for 36 and see what they tell them.....Karen, anybody, any volunteers to do an inquiry and see what they say? We won't all fit in the private room. Maybe they can set it up somewhere else or do it during off hours.....not sure, but it's worth asking.

Shannon Dougherty I believe. Rumor has it she was hard to get along with on sets and that is why she kept getting booted from the shows.

I watched all those, and still catch the reruns!! Melrose Place as well. SD has been in a ton of lifetime movies...and I have always read how awful she is to work with but I love most of her movies.

An option for mailing is to have everyone who wants on to mail you a SASE, you put the lanyard(s) in and mail it back to them.

If someone could ask conierge that would be the way to go. Otherwise you request for 14 and the other 22 people would have to try and book for the same time. If the ressies are linked you can book for 4 people.

well this 50's PT pot pie, is way more labor intensive than I was prepared for! Dinner will be a tad late tonight and John is going to have mucho dishes to wash!


tebow is a hoot! I got him some sort of forever bone and he is desperate to bury it somewhere....we have terrazo and tile, so his options are the couch and laundry basket, both of which he has tried to no avail. John tool him for a walk, boneless though.

And who wants to volunteer to do the group dinners and brunches that Noel has the lists of? and who wants to book the high tea couples and ladies only that I have the lists of? The group dinners and brunches in the private dining room have already been requested. Those can't be booked online. There were faxes sent early on requesting specific days for each group that Noel and Kim set up. :

I have a question on this - I was on the list with that Noel did for the brunch - do we still try to make reservations separately also or just wait to hear about the group? I do not want to mess anything up with having brunch - I enjoyed it so much more than dinner!

I think mailing them out would be a BIG job but could be doable if each person who wanted them mailed sent a label with their address and/or maybe did the flat rate priority mail envelope for those who order quite a few.

on the December Cruise they were delivered to my house and I packaged them up with each person's name on the baggie with the number they requested and handed them out at the meet and were paid for then.

#1 Was Leopard (new operating system). The most interesting thing here is an enhancement to Time Machine (backup program) that is a new piece of hardware. For $299 you can buy a combination Airport Extreme router / 500gb Hard drive called Time Capsule, that will automatically do backups of all the Macs in your house wired and through Airport (Wi-Fi).

Do you currently use Airport? We were thinking of purchasing. Scary, but we have bought two other wireless routing systems and they are just WAY too confusing! We are not very techie at all. Is Airport as simple to install as all the reviews say? If so, we saw that there is a couple of options. Do you have any suggestions? Would the Airport Extreme be the best option? Help!!!
