Did anybody watch her as Pru on Charmed. I LOVED that show. I loved Pru and Piper and Phoebe.....I didn't like it when Paige came after Pru died. I still watched it and got used to it, but Pru was the best.

Just booked our first DVC vacation! 17 nights(yes 17) at SSR from November 30th. We will probably mess around with a few of the dates such as going up to Universal for a couple of nights etc instead of a few SSR days. Just wanted to have something booked and in place.

Hi everybody, I have not bee on this site for a while. Frank took very ill again and we had to rush him back to the hospital. I was with him at 1pm in the afternoon when he started bleeding from his nose and mouth. We got him to the emergency room at the Rehab center and then we were going to transfer him back to the same hospital by ambulence. Well, there was no room at the hospital and they told us we had a 36 - 48 hour wait

Well we opted for a different hospital and by the time we got him there it was 1am .....12 hours after he took sick.

No one can tell us where all that blood came from....he needed to get 4 pints transfused into him.

Anyway, needless to say, it has been way too busy here. I just figured out I am 65 pages behind

But he booked the Couple Massage for us... Very romantic and well worth every penny!! He isn't usually very romantic, and he had NEVER had a massage in his life before this. He enjoyed it as much as I and here are some pics:

Did you contact the dr about his biting episode? They may want to speed things up a bit. I would hate to think of Tyler having to suffer more while waiting for everything to happen. Does he do any of this stuff that his dad gets to witness? He really needs to put aside his feelings and issues and focus on Tyler and what he needs to help him.

Many thoughts and prayers out to you and Tyler both....!

Thanks V! That incident happened just 2 days before his scheduled appointment, so I just waited. It's not the first time he's done things to try to hurt himself, but it's the most severe. I made sure the doc knew about it right away when we got there and we all spent a good time talking about him doing that sort of thing. He was so good about answering her questions honestly. The session ended with her telling him she'd like to see if he can stop himself when he starts to feel that urge to hurt himself or others (including his dog ) in the time before our next appointment. She then told his dad and I again that she's not sure how much of that is something he can control or just biological, but also said that since he told her he always tries not to and just can't stop, she thinks we should discuss medication next visit. Unfortunately, I don't think his dad heard that part because he was helping Tyler clean up the toys. I told her I'm all for it but....and motioned to his dad. She mouthed "I know" to me. She gets what's going on. We're not the first family who have had a split opinion on the issue, and since she really feels that's needed, I suspect she'll keep telling us that and it will eventually sink in with his dad. I hope.

I'm not surprised you have migraines at the moment Holly with all that you are dealing with. You need a massage or something just for you to help you relax.

I'm hoping to be able to afford a massage after I get my tax refund, after I pay off the cruise with those funds and get caught up on bills with the rest of that money. If there's enough leftover, I'm getting a massage once a week for 3 weeks!

I'm glad Tyler is opening up to the Psychologist - that is a good sign in itself and will help. Isn't it hard to understand what goes on in his little head. He seems to be doing well explaining it.

His verbal IQ tested almost off the charts for his age, so the psychologist says that's making a huge difference in him being able to explain how he feels and what he thinks is going on. She says that's so helpful and will really speed things up for us because she won't need so many sessions trying to draw info out of him and trying to interpret what he's saying. He's straight and to the point.

Thanks so much Marilyn! I truly believe love and prayers are what's helping us through this!

Oh and about "traveling companions..." I may have a special guest traveling with me - will know as soon as final payment is done. He's sort of a celeb on the Dis boards - will let you know asap...

I still don't like meds and I take them!!! I think they are way overused but some people really do need them. I have been through what Tyler is going through in a way and it is no fun but in NO way is he a freak. Having multiple disabilities is not easy.

I also have depression but it is currently not a problem. They doctor told us (my family) that depression doesn't just go away and when it comes back it will be worse. My family is supposed to keep an eye on me. I hope the doctor is wrong they have been before. I seen to be against the odds which is not always good.I have every side effect of the medicines we try no matter how unusal they are!!!

Lisa, with how much stress you've been under, you DESPERATELY need this cruise to rest, recover, rejunivate, etc. I've been struggling with thoughts of cancelling for financial reasons for months, but decided that because of all the garbage Tyler's gone through and all the stress I've had in dealing with his issues, his dad & stepmom's stubbornness, and my financial issues, as well as school issues, I desperately need this as a stress reliever as well! RIGHT DECISION!

Thanks Holly, I know you are right and I am so looking forward to meeting and visiting with everyone!!

I still need to make the rest of the plans. I started to make the rest of the ressies and f\Frank got sick again......
