Howdy folks, sorry I have been absent a bit, but I have this stupid thing called work, and while it allows me to eat and live indoors, and since I have become accustomed to living in such a fine fashion, it does every so often suck my life up. Now without further Ado....

Round Up -

More are being sucked into the Mac/Ipod collective. You will getting your number as soon as you register with Captain Spanxx...you will have to submit a body part for bedazzling to mark you as a member of the collective though. If you do not get this, go watch reruns of STNG (Star Trek, the Next Generation) and tivo the Borg episodes...

While we do on occaision run with scissors, we play nicely with all! What a nice group of peeps we is!!!!

Some of us are going to train for a new marathon on the DCL. The team is being led by Capt. Spanxx. You may sign up for the breakfast buffet marathon or the Palos Brunch marathon. Elastic waist pants are recommended.

Somewhere ice sheets are starting to fall and they can injure people. I have visions of 300 count frozen percale falling from the sky...or big frozen sheets sliding off roofs down the driveways and into streets, and somehow the local youths riding them, trying to turn it into the next X sport, or a new segment of Jacka**... Of course, I am just odd that way...

Wilson has a snaggle tooth...it's so gross, he is playing with this loose tooth it is hanging on by a thread...it's grossssssss. I took some pictures I'll go get my egg to up load them so you can also be grossed out with me

hey guys what's up? just wanted to drop a quick note wishing everybody a happy week. I've got 2 tests tomorrow, and then spring break here I come!!! I'm off to california for my first ever visit to the original House of the Mouse!!!!!!

So Kaylee-what did you think of LOST tonight? I'm getting so frustrated...I need them to give me some answers, not more questions!!! Gray's is a repeat tomorrow night but gladly I can look at McDreamy repeatedly.....

We also train for the Palo's brunch marathon!! I thought you were in that one too?!?!?!

I'm in on the Palo's marathon...specifically how many times can I have the chocolate souffle?! Really that's the whole reason we're taking this cruise...15 days means more opportunities to go to Palo's!

Lovely sunny day here at last, shame I'm going in to work to deliver some training today really...

I watch shows Like Mythbusters, and while I like Heroes, and Battlestar Galactica (science fiction geek here) I am about 4 episodes behind on each.

Love 'Heroes' too a big SF geek here...

Back to Mascot Talk!

I see your mascot and raise you Testuto! University of Maryland's Fierce Terrapin!!!

My brother goes to the Baltimore school and his mascot is a Retreiver, as in a golden retriever...

I just don't like much TV. I watch the local news.....not sure how much good that does me. We were supposed to get 4 inches of snow .... we got a dusting at best!!

Okay when it was all said and done we did get 3 inches of snow....it got so cold last night (5 degrees regular..no wind chill) that everything froze. Then this morning, 5am, we had fog. The news was saying FROZEN FOG WARNING....I don't even know what that is. I was imagining a great big block of ice I had to walk though outside. Streets all had black ice...schools 2 hour delay. Side walks are dangerous because of the ice....

The sun is shining brightly and I have heard rumors that we will get to 70 degrees next week. I can not wait!!!

We are actually going the 10th as our DD will only miss 3 days of school with their schedule. The week of Thanksgiving was more than 4 grand more than the week we chose!!

What a bummer that we won't be on the same Nov. cruise. Wow! Thanksgiving week sure is expensive! We have the week after Thanksgiving, so the price isn't much different than what I paid for last Sept.

You know, as the show ended tonight, I looked at DH and told him it was driving me crazy....I am so confused (or should I say lost ) in the plot. I think at this point I keep watching just to try and figure things out! As for Gray's....repeat

I am all up for any food marathons isn't that why we try and lose a few pounds before the cruise...so we can gain it all back! But, I have never eaten at Palo's is that bad to admit?! We have only done 1 other cruise (what I called a teaser) and it was a 3 day. There just wasn't enough time to do anything and Palo's meant too much planning for us, so we didn't go. I guess I will have to change that this time....so, it really is worth it? Gee, I feel like I should do another dcl cruise before this one just to learn some more things.

Is anyone else ready to relocate their life to somewhere tropical after this winter? For some reason, this year has just been horrible (great ski season, but that only gets me so far in making it through the days). We started with the flooding, then the ice storm, then the wind storm and it just kept going. So, who is up for moving somewhere tropical? Those of you living in fabulous southern places...any good jobs around?

Oh you guys haven't seen anything yet. I think DH opened and closed the brunch on the last cruise.

I have gotten a few good ideas, just hope I remember them in 14 months (where is the day count at? have be gone below 400 yet?!). I did know about the pillow case one and had that done for my dd's. Someone listed about 20 characters that signed theirs, we only had about 10. Maybe the longer the cruise the more sigs? I saw this too....I really like the idea of the pillowcase and the matting for a picture frame...will need to remember these!
