okay I am dumb.... I see you are telling me myhtbusters are on tv tonight, they are always on tv everynight here, aren't they were you live too?

You want sick weather, on Friday we will be 23 and Saturday we will be 40, this in the space of 24 hours. Today it was 21. And on Monday we had massive sheets of ice falling 35 stories from the CN tower. Agh!!!! So ladies what jacket do I wear to work on Friday, lol?

Two years ago, we lost several major roads due to spring floods, that might be an issue once again.

I'm just not home enough to watch much TV with work, school, and doing fun stuff with Tyler. So I'm thrilled with my $9.95/month basic cable! Gets a bunch of local channels, TLC, Food Network, and a few more, so that's enough for me. Tyler's happy with his PBS cartoons, so we're all set.

I just don't like much TV. I watch the local news.....not sure how much good that does me. We were supposed to get 4 inches of snow .... we got a dusting at best!!

I don't even watch the local news . . . after being on a school board for 8 years, you become very jaded with the press. (sorry those of you that have relatives working in the press)

I watch shows Like Mythbusters, and while I like Heroes, and Battlestar Galactica (science fiction geek here) I am about 4 episodes behind on each.

Of course sports is a different matter.

Did anyone else see Dateline tonight? Basically, it was about how easy it is to commit a crime in broad daylight and get away with it because people either won't get involved or are too polite to question what's going on.

But the most chilling part, to me, was when they showed how easy it was for a man to approach a group of kids and get them to talk to him, even go over to his car. However, it appeared that boys were much more likely to do this than girls. A psychologist explained it by saying that it's much more difficult for boys to show fear, especially around other boys than it is for girls. The girls in the group hung back and even talked among themselves about how the boys shouldn't be over there.

I never thought of it but it makes sense to me, especially thinking of the kids I worked with over the years, that boys could more easily fall prey to putting up a front of bravado or being reckless than girls.

Did anyone else see this? What did you think?

Yes, but usually on Wednesday nights, it is a NEW episode that we haven't seen before!

My daughter would love to see Adam and Jamie - she cracks up at Adam all the time! She also likes Kari a lot.

John the new itunes 7.1 has international movie capabilities, very soon now! Can't wait for that release. The next announcement is slated for mid-April!

Why not join a group of like-minded DCL cruisers that will actually value your independent thinking? That will actually speak up for your right to have your own thoughts and express your own feelings without fear of total censorship.

NO! Scary! It is so hard to be a parent today with everything you have to worry about these days.

Hello everybody! I am just posting a blanket note that I have edited out the name of the website noted in the spam. That and the group that are members there are not permitted to be posted on the DIS.

There haven't been any viruses attached to the emails sent out. The EB group does have a website however I took it down after the first round of emails was received from this person. They posted on our thread, submitted their information to gain access to the site, then used the emails on the site...not in our group email list...to send out the spam.

Now that is cleared up, I would appreciate it if the discussion about this stops on the boards. As a group we are working together to not let this affect us or our TOAL cruise. We don't want to give it the attention it doesn't deserve. Please do not take this the wrong way. I appreciate your support but I don't want it spreading to the main boards and becoming a bigger issue than it needs to be. I hope that I am explaining myself well enough. The person doing this wants to create chaos. We have control of that here. Let's just have fun planning our cruises!

Yeah, I downloaded it last night, and looking at it tonight, I am wondering what happened to the "just for you" beta that they had. I actually bought some music based on those suggestions, but now it is gone from the main pane on the iTunes Music Store.
