I have decided we must be in the wrong line of work. Everyone here gets to go on lots of cruises and take time off... gotta figure out what I am doing wrong, or better yet, what you are all doing right!

Speaking of that, this cruise seems to have a lot more repeat cruisers than the last thread I was on. Is that because it is a repo and different or something else?

Yup, I agree, I am in the wrong line of work. Low profit margins, and all that follows in the grocery business.

I have noticed this too - I thought I had been on a lot of Disney Cruises, but many of you guys put me to shame! I am guessing that the PC is not a cruise you would do with Disney unless you were a real Disney Fan, or a DCL vet.

DH had an internet bill of $800 last cruise. All necessary for work. I felt really bad for him, but he was a good sport. Should be about double for this one.

Wow!! I don't know what our last bill was as DH company credit card is charged but $800 seems a little steep.

I think we just are clicking as a group. I have never been on a DCL repo cruise but this group of people seem like ones I wouldn't mind cruising with again and again . We seem to have alot of similair likes and dislikes and have been able to relate pretty well to each other in such a short time.

My daughter's best friends parents are co-owners of a small grocery chain called Molly Stones. They seem to do pretty well here in California.

come on how many shoes???? I have promised not to pack as many as last time, but what will I not bring????(17 pairs between the 4 of us last time)

A couple teams needs more team members ($$!). We will make sure these teams are complete before making any new ones. I'm sure as time goes on, all days will be taken and some days you might get mail twice!

I got Carol's fish extender today and it is a beauty! Can't wait to start decorating it - although I would need to let my sons in on the surprise and my DH won't be able to take hearing more Disney talk in the house!

I am the oldest of five girls, no brothers. Each of us has had at least one boy, one sister two boys. My DS has three boys and DD has two girls and a boy. The number 3 seems to run in my immediate family. I have a sister in Mt. Shasta, in Springfield, OR and the last sister in Sisters, OR. One of my sisters had lived close by but she passed away in 2004 of cancer. Since my sisters are not closeby, we only see each other in the summers as two of them have school age children and the unmarried one has a BF who two of us have never met in the 6 years she has been with him. We all gather for at least two weeks in the summers and have for many years.

Have you ever been to the quilt shop in Sister, Or? I hear it's fabulous and I have seen the quilt books put out by the owner Jean Wells.

When we go on this cruise we will have:
3 Video ipos, 1 shuffle, 2 laptops, 4 cell phones, 1 fuji digial finpix, 2 kodak digitals, 1 mini camcorder/camera and 1 dvd camcorder. I haven't even gotten to the personal stuff like curling irons!!!

Oh, and don't get me started on the shoes!!!!

My DD and I are with you on the SHOES!! On most of our 7 day or more trips, we have a separate duffle just for the shoes!!

Unfortunatly, we have to keep up with work at all times on all vacations, part of the deal with owning your own internet business. So our DELL LAPTOP WHICH WE L O V E comes with us on all trips. Wasn't going to go there, but we are not MAC people at all (unless we're talking about the cosmetic line, my DD and I LOVE MAC cosmetics!)

All three of us have cameras, I still do film DD and DH have digital, we also bring the camcorder and my daughter has her mp3. My new phone (love hate relationship) is also mp3 capable, but we'll see if I get there.

Still, the shoes take precedence over almost everything! (except maybe the wine, but we ship that!)

We were in WDW from December 15th to the 23rd and I spent from 2 to 6 hours a day, every day, on our internet stuff for our wine shop. I told the family, "never again, until we move and I get more minnions to do my work!! We only paid 10.00 a day I think.

Still had a great time, but I felt like I needed a vacation after my vacation!!

Hi everyone, back from the funeral today. It was the saddest day I've ever had to experience I'm afraid. The sight of over 200 people, lots of them teenagers, as friends of Joanne, quite heartbreaking...but what a courageous lot they were, singing songs for Jo, reading poems....her coffin was covered in sunflowers and the song playing as we finished the service was 'Walking on Sunshine'. Quite a day.

anyway, I've been trying to catch up but am VERY confused about the gifts, teams, and various activities...I may ahve to go abck and re-read it all I think! who do I pm about being part of a team??
