Thanks for the reminder for the travel ins. I did not know about the pre-existing thing and I am glad I found out. DrHug has had quad bypass and has uncontrolled hypertension. So, by purchasing today I think I have him covered if something comes up between the 90 day mark and sailaway. Hopefully, it won't but for $190 I feel better. ;)

Thanks for sharing all your great ideas! Are you going on the cruise? If so, I'd love to spend some time and have you teach/show me how you put things like those logos together.:goodvibes

DH and I are going on the cruise alone. Katie will be cruising when she graduates from college. :)

This sounds kind of like a game I've played called "Shanghai" or Shanghai Rummy. We played it with regular playing cards, but multiple decks (2 or 3, depending on how many were playing). First hand was a set, 2nd hand a run, 3rd hand 2 sets, etc. Final hand was 3 runs. It took forever to play all the way through, but it was fun.

I think this is what we call "Continental", I love this one too!

I think it always better to be safe than sorry. Your John and my John are almost same age, my John is about a year older. I will be same age as you on the cruise and do take the insurance. We have no pre-existing conditions but always take the travel insurance.

An OT, but DH had to take two physicals for key man insurance as company would not believe he did not take any meds or have any pre-existing conditions when he filled out the forms. Had two complete, every test in the book physicals before they were satsified he is healthy. Those insurance companies sure do not like to insure people over 63, do they?

Okay, so I *think* I figured out how to post images and we'll see if this works. The following is our door sign for our July 2005 cruise and I also made a DIS Magnet-

OOhhhh, I love it!

We finally received news about our friend Sean. He is fine. :)

Sadly, he lost 5 Marines from his squadron.

Thanks for everyone's concerns and prayers. They only have a few more days left in Iraq.

Thanks. :)

The software is not all that hard to set up, and I've done it a number of times. The really great part about it is that if you follow the installation instructions, it's ready to use in 10 minutes. The software is a bit quirky, but it functions much similar to the software that runs the Disboards, in terms of concepts and ideas.

As I said, I like it because it's easy to install. I also like it because it keeps track of the last time that you read a thread or a conversation and it uses visual clues to point this out to you, and it does it based on the last time you accessed the software. I've seen the software being used on databases with millions of postings and you wouldn't know it. I've seen my server tell me that it's handling over a hundred transactions per second and it doesn't even blink an eye at handling the load that the board software requires.

I guess the best part of it is that it's free. I had it for a number of months before looking at it because it *was* free (free used to equal "not good" in my experience)... sort of regret it now. It's not like vBulletin, but very, very close.

I set everything up under the domain www.shipofthieves.com so it's fairly easy to remember.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to message me.

Jim.

That is a great site, can´t wait to register!

I am glad to hear your friend Sean is safe but very sorry to hear he lost 5 Marines. Our hearfelt sympathy to all the families in their time of loss.

I am really glad that your friend is ok, sorry about the other marines.

Thanks Julie and Noel,

It really is true what they say, Once Marine, always a Marine. The Helo community is pretty small and close knit.

Sean's squadron is being relieved by another close friend, Mike's squadron. We were all stationed in Hawaii together.
