do you get your deposit back if you decide to cancel? Just wondering what the chances are how many days before you cruise do you have to payoff...just trying to see when people might cancel...

Actually I had another cat 3 booked for a December 2007 cruise. When we decided to go on this one, it was too much school for DD to miss for both so I transfered my non refundable deposit to this one. It is non refundable, but is transferable. Suites have to pay off 105 days in advance.

I'm sorry but no luck! They brought up the reservation I entered and their
response was it was probably a large table that had 2 chairs available. The
Supervisor tried to add a 3rd person to my fake reservation and it put the
3rd person on 2nd dining.

I still think it's early and the odds of you getting main dining are good.

John1, we just need to link your reservation with ours, Vanessa's and Kim's. We are early and they will then move you. We will take care of this within the next couple of days. We are with DU also, I'm sure they can make it happen.

Kwork, that was to be the 2nd Geekorama cruise, then the Repo's were announced and many transferred to either the WB or EB PC cruises.

We are still on the 12/8/07 7 day. Doing that with a large group of family. DH and I are the Disney people that got all the others to book, they would have a real hissy if we canceled that one!

I am was greatful to get up and only find a few pages to catch up on.

My DH (Mike) and I have officially lost our minds!! We have decided we can't wait until May 2008 for our next cruise. So we have booked a quick get away on the Wonder (4 days)this weekend!!!!! I am so excited!! We told the kids this morning, there was lots of cheering! One in tears, because she will be alone in group! Her wonderful big sister (13) tried to make it all better by offering to do tons of things with her; movies, swimming, ice cream! Then we sent them off school to share their excitement.

I've been thinking about your post all day! Boy, I wish we had that freedom. Maybe some day. Please give us a report of it all! Lisa

Is your reservation still non-refundable? Curious whether that is a loop hole in the system: book a non-refundable deposit suite, transfer to non-suite and then it becomes refundable? Just curious.

I am doing the same thing. I just can't decide if I want early or late. We had late last time and really liked it. I figure it is easier to get on late than early. I bet the dis people got waitlisted quicker than non-dis.
