that's great!! I only hope they are selling AKL by then, I think that is the only way I could convince John....I am still not sure of the overall value for us, but I think as the girls get older a more "condo" type room would benefit us all.

I can't yet see my reservation on the DCL site(I booked with DU). Can everyone else? I keep getting the message about birthday not matching reservation number. I know we don't need it there yet, but I would like to see it!! Tried John'd birthdate too, but no good. I wondered if it was just taking a long time to enter everything.

Every cruise that we have been on our reservation Birthdays are one year off. Don't know why or how, tried to have them changed, but it has never been done, so we just have learned to type it in the way they have it.

Makes my DH and I a year younger though!

Does anybody know how to get Temporary tattoos made up with the logo(s) that were designed and submitted? Can you print them out at home on special paper?

Sorry, ship horn blowing in my mind! It's on my desktop both at home and at work and I play it at least once a day. My co-worker a couple cubes down from me just laughs when she hears it....she's a DIS regular too, so she understands!

AKL is already on pre-sale!! It won't be available until 2009 for occupancy.

Although people threw things off the ship during the repo thru the canal and the people loved it, Panama considers it littering, and the Captain got really made and told people if they didn't stop it, DCL would get fined and he would personally make sure they never got into Palos again, and no good deserts for the rest of the cruise...(ok, maybe I made up the end part just a little bit... But he did get REALLY mad and yelled at everyone over the loud speakers!)

BTW...I work for a school and one of the kids was singing that today and I stumped him by asking him to sing the next verse...he didn't know it! Points to whoever does...

That's still one of my favorite memories from the EB Repo trip in 2005. Hearing the Horn in the Canal and all of the people on the banks cheering when they heard it!!

Wish we were in the same time zone. We both seem to be night owls that still get up in 5 or 6 hours!

My husband lived in Holland, MI and most of his family is still there (thank heaven they don't live close) (Did I say that outloud?)

Doesn’t it just repeat, ad infinitum?

I actually have the original 45 somewhere in one of the many black holes in my world. My folks and I went in it's inaugural year and I still enjoy the memory!
