Holly, how's Tyler doing? Is the therapist helping?
Tyler's exactly the same. Too early for therapy to be doing much because it's only once a week. I think what will help is when we get the school onboard and they'll provide therapy twice a week I think. He's had a couple times in recent times where he put his hands around a friend's throat and has been punching and spitting, etc. It stinks.

No he would not... His wife would be down at guest services complaining about the guy who was looting the store. Of course I probably would have wheeled the empty wheel chair out of the way also.
Wish you were there!

Woody

Well hopefully the behavior will change quicker than later. I hope the school speeds up the process so they can help too.

Oh, and, BRAVO!

Thank you Ian. I'm going to tell my leader that I'm owed a bravo star for my book mark.:cool1:

The grand opening of Terminal 5 has been a complete fiasco. An embarassment to BA and the UkK in general, and upsetting for the many hundreds of folk who had flights cancelled or delayed or who didn't get their baggage!
The luggage on their flight turned out to be from an earlier flight.

The flight crew made no mention of the luggage problem. So the passengers did not learn about until they got off the plane.

British Airways said they would get their luggage within 48 hours. The problem is they are leaving on a cruise from L.A. to Hawaii in 32 hours. Arrrggghhh!

So, what would you do if your luggage might not arrive before a cruise? Go shopping?

Me too. And the licking thing is way over the top. The teacher suggested a while back to not send him to school in long sleeve shirts because the end of his sleeves is what he licks. Left then right, every few seconds. It got to be such a distraction for him that it was interfering with his schoolwork. Gross. So then since he couldn't reach his sleeves, he now lifts the neckline of his t-shirts so he can lick that. His shirts are soaked by the end of the day. Disgusting. The OT gave him a chewy (a long rubber thing to chew on) when he gets that urge, but he forgets to carry it around most of the time.

Well, no time to catch up again . . . I've had a bit of a day.

Just when I was catching up this morning my brother called - he was supposed to go back to work today after break (he is a teacher) - and his feet were so swollen he could not even get his shoes on. He has extreme fear of doctors and hospitals, and I had been trying to talk him into seeking medical care for over a week.

I got him to call off work, make a doctor's appointment, and then I had to take him to the appointment. I had to drop him and leave him because I could not leave the office for so long a time.

My brother is extremely obese, and he looked ashen. He had difficulty even walking to and getting in my car. I think I have mentioned that my father lives with him.

Later in the afternoon he called to tell me I had to take him to the ER, he was retaining fluid, but they were afraid to give him medication without tests. The whole way to the ER he was freaking out on me - I thought I was going to have to slap him to get him to calm down.

I got him to the ER, got him admitted, and had to go home to get Sophia and my son dinner (who had brought some friends to watch the game). Can you say Olive Garden carryout? I had to calm down my dad, get his medication ready for him, and keep answering his calls wondering what was happening. Can you say 85 year old man with time on his hands?

He just called a little bit ago. He was admitted. He is anemic, and they were giving him 3 units of blood. He thinks he will be released tomorrow (who knows?). Meantime, I have to get to my dad's in the morning again to get his medicine ready for him. Take him lunch, take him dinner.

Oh yeah, and I have this job that keeps getting in the way. Now, what would have happened if this happened on May 11th? I know many of you are in similar positions with family - we should all say prayers for each other.

Poor Amy is dealing with my frustration half the world away, even though she gets to sit by a pool and have her feet massaged. I barraged her with email during the day because there is no one else to talk tol

Anyway - miss you guys - wish I had more time to spend, but it is bed time for Sophia!

Thats too bad John. Just think that just when you need it this vacation will be here. SO it's good to have all this drama now...get it over with, taken care of and outta the way!

Your Karma will be kind to you and let you have the restful and relaxing vacation that you and your family deserve.

Yes, you go shopping, and hope it catches up with them. Some people who were on the Med cruise never got their luggage. Connie

By the way...I will not be ordering any pins on this cruise so if they only let us order 1 set per person..anyone that wants an extra set, I will order it for you. PM me...first come first served. And no additional charging here ;)

What a day you have had! I hope tomorrow is calmer for you!

Oh yea..On our med cruise I was sharing clothes with a family from georgia. They got moms bag 3 days in , dads 4 days in and the 2 kids 2 days before the end. There was one woman who was doing a summer abroad with her kids and she had 10 bags from singapore with their entire summer wardrobe...gone..didn't get them back when we got off either. The disney cruise was the first of their european vacation...ugh!

I'm alive and well, no worries! Howdy everybody! No internet at home. I'm tired of AT&T not working.
Glad you're okay, Holly.

Before I had DSL, I had dial-up. It was so embarrassing for DIS chat because I was always a step behind (Jackie might remember).

For example:

Smith: I won the lottery
Smith: but then my wife left me
Woody: Hey, that's great!
Smith: Then my neighbor paid back the $200 he owned me
Woody: Oh, that's so sad.
Smith: turns out he was seeing my wife.
Woody: Can I have some?

Woody

John, huge hug!

What more can one say, not close enough to lend a hand, would love to be close enough though.

Will see ya in 38 days and 18 hours.
