Ok. Now just for the record, the PSE4 on my laptop is VERY basic. All of my fonts and brushes and the like are installed on my desktop where I do most of my work. My laptop is actually my work laptop so it is very basic as I don't do a lot of PSing on it at work. But the basics are there to answer most questions. Unless of course PSE6 is completely different.

Ken the only extra I have is a mickey head brush, lol. I will put it on the key.

Who is renting a car in California? Will the Car rental be opened? Is there one close to the port?

imho driving in CA isn't fun, unless it's up or down the PCH (pacific coast highway 1)

I don't think so. But I suppose I should give that some thought. I think we could perhaps call one as soon as we dock?

If DH flies home in ACA, he will take a one-way flight on Sunday morning to Long Beach and pick up the van and meet us at the port. That way I don't have to manage all 4 boys on my own.

We are really hoping he doesn't have to do that as it seems such a shame to spend on this money for us all to go, and then for him to miss a week of it...it would be sad but I'm getting prepared for it so I won't be too disappointed. As Nan would probably point out, should look at this has half full cup as it wasn't too long ago we weren't going to enjoy any of it.

thank you but I must also point out that I have offered this very exit plan to Paul too. He is concerned about work, so he may also leave mid trip (even though he says today no way) but work might be a factor and when it is, you have to go. The cup would be half full, but I'm sure I'd be very thirsty adn want a full glass too, so I'll be there for a if your DH has to go, you there for me too?

Geez! Leave you guys back on page 60 and you guys put on 50 more - LOL - anyway, finally checking in as I was whisked away from home - hhmmm....wonder if my grumpiness had anything to do with that?

Anyway, we are literally zipping thru the desert at about 75 mph. We just passed "Field" which is in the middle of the desert - literally!

I'm not as grouchy, hm....wonder if the marathon round of shopping had anything to do with my high spirirts?

BTW Ladies, was in Wet Seal this weekend and they had some Mexican Style long tops and a sundress - you know the peasant type - embroidered? THey were on sale but they ran about $20. Not bad for something that is actually stylish and your teen might steal from you.

OK - did I mention we went to Vegas? not sure but we left The Orleans at 10:30 and should be home by 2:17 if all goes well.

Maybe I'll have time to catch up? Somehow I don't think so.

Hope everyone had a great weekend an I was just telling DH - 42 days to go - less than 6 weeks! Its just now starting to feel real now!

Seriously, I don't see the girl vs boy easier arguement. I think this depends on the child. My daughter has not been hard for me, my son...another story.
