Mrs. Woody just returned from LAX, picking up friends from England. The flew British Airways out of the new terminal at Heathrow, and the plane arrived without any checked luggage for any of the passengers. They were not happy bunnies.

Well, I get to go to the Mac hospital and bring home my iMac tomorrow. Not sure exactly what was wrong, but it's working fine now (according to a phone message received yesterday from Dr. Mac). After seeing all the great door signs people are making I really want to try to make something, too.

John, PJ, and Ian, I found out today from a Mac tech support guy (English speaking ) how to set up multiple iPhoto libraries. I can't wait to do that on my iMac. I think I have close to 12,000 items in iPhoto right now. He also told me how to copy the whole library by doing "option" & dragging. So slick! Apple Care is the best money I ever spent!

Jackie, I SOOO wish I could do the April 19 DISmeet! Rats! But the cruise will be here before we know it!

Well that makes eight but he thinks he doesn't need that many. He says he can wear them all twice and with the three formal nights that would mean he would only need five or six. Right now we don't have any pirate gear but he wants to get some. I just wanted to get a t-shirt or something. I really don't have room to pack that. The kids do have pirate costumes.

do me a favor and warn me when they are day 2 shirts, will ya

One shirt per day, keeps my DH not so stinky...

Cheri, I learn everything by the seat of my pants. Are you bringing a laptop on the ship? I wasn't planning on it, but maybe someone with PSE will let us borrow theirs, eek!

I have a tonne of digital scrap stuff on a usb key, ready to bring with me, to share and play with.

I like that. Not sure why you like mine more? Yours is nice and sharp.

Those bevel tools are nice, but you have to have the right background. Sometimes when I am trying to "cutout" a graphic or clean one up I will use the bevel tool and really exaggerate the depth as it will make even the slightest speck look really big. Really helps with erasing some backgrounds around graphics I want.

I tend to overuse drop shadows as they can hide an imperfect cutout. Lately I've been using the "Stroke selection" combined with drop shadows to get lazy with my cutouts.

OK PJ.....I'm getting you a Bahama Mama.....John says they are rum based with lots of fruit juice and DCL does them great!

Also, if you like a Cape Cod......then maybe I'll get you to try my Caribbean Lemonade.....it's Absolute Mandarin, Triplesec, sour mix, cranberry, topped with Sprite.....it's soooooooo yummy. Promenades gave us the recipe when we asked.....we still have the bar check that it's written on.

Then John says he's really going to get you going by giving you what he drinks......a Tropical Depression......it's like a Long Island Iced Tea on steroids.

Oh I can tell we're going to have a lot of fun on this cruise.

With all the drinks we owe her??? PJ... leave the booze home!!!

I'am not ready, tried to take the suitcase out of the closet, it would not come. Now I have to remember how I got it in there. I guess in the next couple of weeks I will have to get to that.

HI THERE!!!! IT's MARCH 30th and you know what that means!!!!

I'm having a mini break in my wonderul day of celebration.

I slept in and joined my pals Venetia and Bubba (and the rest of the gabby three and children and sis) for breakfast at Storytellers.

We had a wonderful time and it was such a honor to have everyone come and play with me today. You are great friends

After breakfast we went to CA Adventure and did a few rides, said bye bye to V&B and then went to Dland and rode somemore and then we waved good bye to the gabby 2 and kids to ride home. Then Lee and I did a bit of shopping and just stopped at the PP bar and brought a before dinner before dinner drink (get it, this is the first of a few) we head to Napa Rose for din at 6:30 yum!!!

Wilson took 2nd in his race and he was jazzed. I miss my boys But I'll see them tomorrow night.

Going to go back and read now, doubt that I'll get all caught up but eventually I will, as I need to know it ALL....

So... What'd you bring me??????

Ken, my mickey is a northerner, no tan, lol. Yours is more like Daniel, a southern boy with a nice tan. All I did to erase the background, was the magic eraser, then the simple bevel and a soft drop shadow, lol, then saved as a png file.

I'm the same as you PJ. Everything has been self-taught or found out via the web. Mainly just sitting down and playing with things. I think the UNDO button is my most used feature!!

I'll have my laptop with me with PSE4 on it. But it's Windows... Not sure if that helps you maccers Bringing it as my photo backup, as well I was given a Powerpoint presentation for the Geocache talk I'm giving on the ship.

Found a pin online that I will HAVE to get when I am in DL. Website says it will be released in DLR on April 18, 2008. No mention of limited edition"ness". Now I don't trade pins but this one is a MUST get for me.

Ok. Now just for the record, the PSE4 on my laptop is VERY basic. All of my fonts and brushes and the like are installed on my desktop where I do most of my work. My laptop is actually my work laptop so it is very basic as I don't do a lot of PSing on it at work. But the basics are there to answer most questions. Unless of course PSE6 is completely different.
