Caribbean beach is sold big time to Canadian tour operators for pre-packaged vacations, so it is where we stayed our first two trips. We haven't been back, I really did like it. Will have to stay there again one day.

I'am not ready, tried to take the suitcase out of the closet, it would not come. Now I have to remember how I got it in there. I guess in the next couple of weeks I will have to get to that.

Pj

My closet problem is that things fall out on their own...

Here is my one attempt at door magnet creativity.

Very cool! Is it made of craft foam?

I know we have talked about the History Channel's Modern Marvels show on the Panama Canal but has anyone seen the NOVA one? It is called: A Man, A Plan, A Canal, Panama and is hosted by David McCullough, the author of the Path Between the Seas. DH and I got the DVD and watched it last night. It is a very good synopsis of the book with videos, etc. Made me want to go all that much more.

Carol

I just found out my library has it. I'm going to check it out tomorrow--thanks for the recommendation!

Well, Sense & Sensibility is over for tonight (part 2 next week). I'm enjoying this version.

WOODY....you are on a roll tonight!:lmao:

Think I'll dose up with some Nyquil and hit the hay. OH, speaking of hay, Peg went to look at a new horse today. She has decided to get back into showing (Dressage) and is looking for a horse to train and show. This one is a Thoroughbred named, "Boo". She is planning on donating Mystic to one of the therapy organizations. Mystic will be a great horse for that kind of work, she's very even tempered and gentle.

Goodnight Thieves! pirate:

HI THERE!!!! IT's MARCH 30th and you know what that means!!!!

I'm having a mini break in my wonderul day of celebration.

I slept in and joined my pals Venetia and Bubba (and the rest of the gabby three and children and sis) for breakfast at Storytellers.

We had a wonderful time and it was such a honor to have everyone come and play with me today. You are great friends :)

After breakfast we went to CA Adventure and did a few rides, said bye bye to V&B and then went to Dland and rode somemore and then we waved good bye to the gabby 2 and kids to ride home. Then Lee and I did a bit of shopping and just stopped at the PP bar and brought a before dinner before dinner drink (get it, this is the first of a few) we head to Napa Rose for din at 6:30 yum!!!

Wilson took 2nd in his race and he was jazzed. I miss my boys :sad1: But I'll see them tomorrow night.

Going to go back and read now, doubt that I'll get all caught up but eventually I will, as I need to know it ALL....

Happy Birthday, Nan! Sounds like you've had a great time!

Yes, perfect timing. After Tax Day (for those of us who would rather DIS than TurboTax).

Woody

Start and end the day with a giggle from Mr. Woody.

I see Cheri hasn't caught up to my post yet.........:rolleyes1

.

Ken, I like it.

But how did you get it to colour so well? I couldn't fill it in very well, keep going all blotchy. Tried to erase, then fill, that didn't work well either. I was thinking that Daniel might like a Maroon and Orange shirt VT colours.

Pj

Pj,

I just used the Paint bucket tool (in PSE4) and it seemed to have worked just fine. It did come up with an ICC "Profile error" (no idea what that means and the help button didn't "help") but I just chose to ignore and continue anyway and then I had to duplicate the layer (as it was listed as a "background"), then I changed it to RGB format. If you are getting "blotchy" issues, perhaps you might need to "delete" the insides??

Oh you are right about the VT colours. I'll have to modify it.

Disneylover5 - let me change the shirt colours so ignore that previous one. I'll post a new one shortly.

"If you like pina coladas . . ." (NO, stop that tune!)

Woody

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two words: Duct tape.

Woody

Super Glue...

OOOOhhhhhhh!!!!! Bunch of crazy fools. I love the special pins too, but I don't think I would spend the night sleeping in the Artium on the floor. That's just insane......I saw it and I still don't believe it!

But we were going to "borrow" one of those comfy Deck 4 chairs for you!!! ;)

I just wanted to let you know that my brother Tim died this morning.

Thank you to everyone who has sent prayers and pixie dust for him over the last 6 months.

So sorry for your loss. I'll be keeping you and your family in my prayers.

Mine is called Diet Coke.

That would be my everyday "wine", although I do add a little lime to that.

Pj

The premade Diet Coke with Lime is very good!! (and I get Coke rewards!!)

DIET COKE...:thumbsup2
DIET COKE W/LIME (canned):thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
DIET COKE W/FRESH LIME :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

S
Had a three hour nap this afternoon, and the cough is much better...HOWEVER, I've been sneezing and blowing my nose all evening. Aren't those cold manifistations supposed to go in the reverse order???.
.

Jackie, it has been SOOOOO windy today! Was it like that down there, too? I'm sure that can't be helping!

Good evening all, Well, its been very busy here this weekend. Saw Nan, Steph, Marr & all the kids on Saturday morning then left them to have a bite with Karen and Ann & more kids (I was kidless this trip.) Then another disser friend and I did a massive garage sale down in San Diego and sold a ton of stuff, but got very sunburned. It's a true testament about how white I am since it was half clouds and rain in between glimpses of sun.... and I only bought $12 worth of other people's stuff. I'm exhausted!

THAT is a real accomplishment!:thumbsup2

Well, we are back from DL. We had a blast with Nan, Steph, Marr, Nan's sister Leeanna and the kids. I know Nan beat me with the update on what we did and where we ate. But I'm going to start the pics of the day we shared. So here goes.

And here is the whole gang.

 I wanna be there, too!!!

Funny you should ask this question. In the post I just made I was about to type: "CHERI, I'm VERY sad about missing the April DIS meet. Want to talk about carpooling and pricelining a hotel for a night (or two). Maybe I could blow out of work early on Friday, that way we could have all day Saturday to play at DTD with. Let's talk" BUT, I decided not to post it here, and just PM her. BUT, now since I've posted it, you can all beg and plead for us to join you. :lmao: :lmao: Actually, the way things are going, I'm probably going to need that weekend for trip preparation...at least my taxes will HAVE to be done before that...:rotfl2:
.

OOOOO, that is so tempting! But I can't...sis is having surgery (I'm going to help her) and our cousin will be here from CA, too.

DON'T tell Mrs. Woody. She thinks I'm working.
Woody

NETworking!:rotfl2:

S, M, L, and XL.

Woody

You're on a bit of a roll yourself, sir! :rotfl:

He set up a table at the ports to sell to DCL passengers, and others in his group were selling on eBay.

Woody

As soon as Mickey's Mates opened, he scooped up ALL of the DCL Panama Canal cruise logo t-shirts. Fist fights among guests nearly erupted, and security had to be called.

He sold them at the ports.

Woody

I bet he's never going on another Disney trip ever again... One of those banned from the resorts, etc???

Ducks, Sharks, Red Wings ....

You are all delusional.

This is a Canadian game.

It's all about the:
