I know that I'm going to be spending the money, but knowing I won't face any bills after the cruise will make it more enjoyable for me and provide peace of mind.

No lurking charges afterwards.

I am right there with you in wanting to have everything paid BEFORE I leave the house. I would rather that I know how much I am spending beforehand then have the shock later. When I board the ship I will know that all my tips, spa stuff, drinks, pictures, and excursions have been prepaid onto my account. That along with some mad money to spend. Who knows maybe I will have a refund upon leaving?

Quick post, and then tomorrow I'll try to download the photos.

Telling the kids was just great. As we were walking up to the door (and the treasure map was taped to the door), my eldest said "this was the best Easter ever." I just smiled to myself as I knew it was going to get a LOT better!!!

So they walk up to the door and examine the map, start questioning what it is. One son says "oh the Easter bunny must have left us eggs here." My eldest said "of course not - a bunny couldn't write a map like this with his big hands."

So they find the treasure chest, and just love it. They thought it really was from Mickey and the Easter bunny for awhile. It was so cute. My second to youngest still believes that it is from Mickey and Captain Hook. The older two know it is from us (for the reasons I posted earlier). It was just beautiful. They are so excited. They spent a lot of times looking over all the stuff in the treasure chest. I got some photos of them all holding their passports. They are in heaven!

That's great and a wonderful start. So nice to not have to worry about a really big bill hitting you on the last day. I know they charge your card little by little when it builds up but still the idea of not having to see a huge number the last night I think I prefer.

You might be able to get a deferment due to financial hardship on the student loans. If they are the federally insured type, you can ask for a deferment or forbearance, I forget what it is called. Call and ask, it would give you at least six months of relief and give you a chance to catch up.

V...don't be so hard on yourself...both my girls have gotten burned on an occasion despite lots of sunscreen...sometimes it just happens. Put lots of aloe on it

Hope these photos give some idea. The eggs are not egg-sized, they are bigger. The size varies but I suppose an average sized one is about 8-10" high.

The last one is very similar to the egg my DH bought for me. Yum!

Me too. Everyone was complaining about carrying around a case of wine and all I could think about is "we can take on an entire case, woo hoo". So my DH will be carrying one for all of our carry-ons!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow. finally caught up.

Glad to hear everyone had a great easter and birthday celebrations. I ended up spending the weekend going from women's clothing store to women's clothing store as my wife was getting new clothes for the trip.

I have never been in so many women's clothing stores in one day as I did on Saturday... I am still surprised they don't have seats and TV's with the sports channel on for the husbands. I swear the store that does that would double their profits as the husbands would glaldly just sit there and let their wives shop more!!

Shannon also picked out some "tropical" cloth t omake into our Tropical night outfits. We shouldn't be hard to spot as the 4 of us will all have matching patterns. Her and the girls in dresses and me in a shirt. And it is quite a "loud" print too.

Woke up this morning to a light dusting of snow on the ground but I see that is already starting to melt at a good rate, so that makes me happy.

Girls are busy watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse while I get caught up on the DIS. It's the last day of my 4 day weekend and I think today is "clean up the House" day after having been gone all weekend. Shannon had to work so it's just me and the girls considering the school is closed and the daycare is too.

I noticed recently that our flight is now showing an arrival time 30 minutes earlier than when we booked. Departure time is the same though, as is the aircraft.

Maybe the Atlantic has become smaller?

Maybe they expect the tail wind to be stronger
