Lisa we were gone 12 days....I was ready to come home on day 2 (mostly due to the drama). The girls actually did great. We did talk to them every other day and IM'd with them periodically....but they were having so much fun with my mom, we missed them more than they missed us!

I know for a fact I will miss them way more than they will miss me!!

Wow 12 days is a long vacation.....oh yea....we are going on a 15 day vacation!!:goodvibes :goodvibes

You will have to tell us the drama story sometime....maybe you already did and I have not gotten to it yet
Lisa

Seems its been going on for a couple of weeks. If you think about it when would they fix it if it takes more than a couple of hours?
Maybe on a port day. :confused3 Or maybe a ship can run without all engines going like an airplane can, and they can shut one off and fix that, and the ship would probably be slower while they do that. :confused3

Just ordered some from Sierra Trading Company...

They are some colors on clearance there:

15" folder (small size) is $12.55 (colors: navy, berry)
18" folder (med size) is 14.35 (color: berry)

Don't forget that there are some discount codes available out there for Sierra Trading company. They can be up to 20% off the price above.

On the same note, if you have ordered certain Eagle Creek travel accessories and pack-it items after March 1, you may be eligible for a discount.

Here is the information:

Here is the form:
http://www.eaglecreek.com/promotion/013108/2008RebateForm-8.5x11.pdf

Make sure that you read all the fine print. All the Eagle Creek items for the rebate have to be on the same reciept. I hope this rebate works, sounds too good to be true... to get that good of a price on the folders and then get a rebate on top of it?

Just so long as it is going when I get on the ship. I can always float around for a few extra days if the engine doesn't work!

right now we are debating on whether or not to renew our Gator tickets....we don't have the money number one, but if we let them go, we will probably never get them again......we've been season tickets holders for so long I just hate to see them go.

Wow that is such a hard decision.....I know how much you LOVE your Gators!! One of Daniel's best friends was accepted a few days ago and she will be heading south soon!!

Maybe you can buy them and plan to sell half of them on ebay to pay for the all of them???

It might be John1 as he has been known to go off snow blowing in areas other than outside his house!!!;)

I'm trying to catch up, but I could not pass this one up . . . boy, that would have been a loooooong sidewalk from my house to there. We just got a dusting of snow. Had to work again this morning - took Amy to the airport at 1:30. Now just wait to hear from her when she arrives in Manilla.

Great pictures Kaylee - looked like a lot of fun.

I'm just relieved for a day off tomorrow - we are invited over to Amy's cousin's house for an Easter Dinner.

A dream come true for sure! Lets hope for that! :goodvibes

That definitely made me laugh out loud! That's the real reason why we don't hear from him much lately, he just keeps snowblowing and snowblowing and snowblowing! ;)

He might hit Chicago soon!!!:lmao:

I would actually prefer that I think. Wonder if there is a Guiness record? Would have to have a "chase car" to refuel too . . .

In the continuing saga of "if Kathy bought it last week, it must be on sale cheaper this week", we bring you the chapter regarding the titled article.

It is on sale this week at Sierra Trading Post for $59.95. If you are lucky enough to find a 20% off coupon, it brings the price down to $47.96. Colors available: green, gray, or orange.

I am returning the one I bought for $71 to Best Buy on Monday. I am sure that they are getting tired of me returning and price matching!

You know, I love having a fresh new stock of groceries in my kitchen, but at the same time, that's a rough day or two for me because I can't stop eating because I want a little bit of all the new stuff I just bought. :sad2:

Me! Me! Except, that family is wide awake. As soon as DH and I sit in those chairs we are down for the count (or at least until the pager goes off)!

Me too! I find it impossible to stay awake on those loungers.

I sure hope Mexican night has something fun happening on deck after dinner. Tyler's all hyped up about that night. Somebody at church asked him what he's going to do on the cruise and all he wanted to talk about was Mexican night. I tried to bring back his former enthusiasm for pirate night but all he said was, "Oh....yeah, there's a pirate night too" and went right back to raving about Mexican night! What a nutso kid.

I went to Costco tonight and spent $300.....I know just what you mean!

Tonight for dinner (I had to show Vanessa's sister I do cook sometimes) I made a V meal.

Rosemary Honey Mustard Chicken with Cous Cous with peas and carrots. Fresh Fruit Bowl. So yummy!!!

I feel the same way about my Browns tickets. They raised the prices too. Can you split them with anyone?

I've been out cutting blackberry vines. UGH!! I would be a happy woman if I never heard the word blackberry again! They are a weed here in the northwest and take over everything.:headache: I have been cutting and raking around the pump house yesterday afternoon and this morning. DrHug needs to paint and replace the roof on the pump house, but he has to be able to get to it to do that. We spray them each fall and spring, but don't want to spray close to the well so those have to be cut out, raked into a pile and burned. They have horrible thorns. OUCH! I covered up with jeans, double long sleeves and thick gloves this time so I only have gotten stabbed a few times. :sad2:

VINES???

I knew I should have gotten the iPhone!
