actually it's squished all in the package it came in! And it was going to be shipped!

My DH has a corkscrew on his Swiss Army knife that he usually takes on all vacations - it's really handy, got all sorts of stuff on it for pretty much every eventuality.

But we read somewhere that knives aren't allowed and would be confiscated, so he's never risked taking it.

Has anyone ever taken anything similar on board? Or had a problem trying to take it onboard?

My DH had a knife in his checked bag on the 11 night because he could fly with it in his carryon. When the bag finally got to the room later that first night there was a note that it had been removed and he could pick it up after the cruise. Don't know what they would do if it was in your carryon.

Carol, how long ago did they do your flights? We have our air through DCL also and we haven't be provided with that information yet.

We have had our flights since the end of February. I think we got the first reservations around the 19th or so through our TA and then we got new ones the following week because they had done away with one of the flights we were on. They do not show on our internet reservation yet. The booklet we got said they show on your reservation around April 10th. Problem now is, I heard from someone yesterday that Delta is going to quit flying into MCO. If that happens before we leave it could change everything.

HAHA! Well, that just won't work for me - I have to have my As The World Turns and Guilding Light. Young and the Restless I can miss and not be too upset. I've been watching these since I was a kid and my mom used to watch them. How insane is that????

The last time I used a piece of cardboard to fold things and make them neat, it was because the Sergeant was going to inspect them in the morning and I didn't want all my kit to be thrown out of the 2nd floor window again!

I did the same thing when i was in basic officer training in Chilliwack, B.C. i always wondered why the Warrant or the SGT would always bang our drawers shut. After a week or so of doing it....our shirts and pants would splay out...and thuse we would not pass inspection.....extra duties ugh

I had an afro like that when I went to University in the early 70's....all natural....lol
