It is done!!!!

WOW - that looks awesome on her!! SHe has a beautiful head of hair - I know you loved her long hair, but you have to admit she looks great! So stylish - does she love it?

Had the most wonderful facial this morning with lots of shoulder massage. Pre birthday treat. Going for a back hot stone massage tomorrow and hair colour and cut on Friday. Should be relaxed and half way presentable looking by then!!

I'm waiting until early May before I go get my hair done. I'll get a cut and color and maybe highlighted and I'll get my eyebrows waxed. I start prepping for every cruise like this. Then when I get to Cocoa Beach, I'll get my mani/pedi done. Then I'll be ready to get on board and maybe do a rain forest spa day and the reflexology, which I have never had done before, but would love to try it. Has anyone else done this? How was it? How long does it last?

It's fun to have a pamper day......it feels sooooooo good....enjoy yours Marilyn.

Oh and bought a tee shirt and a more dressy top. Still not formal night dressy, but it looks nice. Seen a few items I want to try on when i do my major shopping trip. Dreading the swimsuit buying though as I usually have to try on loads before finding one that does.

Hope yours fit Monica as that is by far the easiest way to buy them.

Marilyn, how about a nice silkly blouse or a lace or ruffled blouse to go with your skirt for formal night. Then you could always accessorize with jewelry and/or a shawl. That would really dress it up and look formal. You could go with a favorite color or just do a black and white look....that's always classy. You'll find the right thing when you start looking. You'll be fine.

I had a terrible reaction on my face for a few weeks before our vacation last November which went much worse after the flight and with the aircon, sun etc. You might have noticed when you met me. It was horrible, red, blotchy, itchy and flaky. I didn't seem to be able to deal with it at all. I began specialist facials when I got back and it has just begun to look and feel normal(well as normal as it get these days).

I am hoping to try reflexology too Deb so will be interested in reviews too. I know my friend, before every holiday(and she has a few) goes to the Chiropodist, then has a pedicure and finally some Reflexology!!! She loves it.

I will be having a hair cut and colour a couple days before we fly in May, and some waxing too. That won't last the cruise, so I am going to buy an Epilator when we get there that works over there as mine here isn't dual voltage.

We are going to look and feel so good! I'm glad your face is getting back to normal now. I have a little of that going on on my face now too.....never had it before.....so it's new to me. I'm hoping it will go away as quickly as it came. It is getting better.

Lisa, I don't want you or V backing out. We're going to end up doing some kind of a party because that's what everybody wants. I think the easiest thing to do is just buy a bottle of something onboard and bring it to the party. Drink whatever you like and share it if you want. That's it. Forget about an official tasting and just keep it simple and informal. That's what I think.

LADIES I already said I will bring the Champagne on no worries. Yes I am lugging many big bags around since I cannot ship stuff to port...... BUT I have limo service for every leg of the trip and I will never be burdened with my bags so taking some champagne onboard is not a big deal to me.

maybe it's a daughter thing, because my son is the little one in our family. nope not concerned about him at school, or haircuts for that matter. Okay the first one, but then no big deal.

My DD11 is finishing elementary school this year and will start... oh, I hate to even type it here..... MIDDLE school. That to me is the real turning point that my "little girl" is most definitely growing up!

OMG it looks so cute! It is not nearly as short as I had thought it would be. WOW Well cheer up Nan it could have looked bad on her but it looks really great. I have to say though she does look older and I think that is where the mommy sadness kicks in.

Please lord no nose piercing...it's so not my thing.

Heck I have thought about getting my nose done before! I have had piercings other then my ears. Things hurt for a but like ears but in a few minutes it is done.

I'm just so sad. I have to find the happy place in this. I'm crying for real now.

Well you can find comfort in the fact that yes she is growing up BUT she is growing up into a caring wonderful young lady. She did a really great thing and she looks fantastic. Be happy all these things point to having a great mom!

6 will fit in a backpack. 3 up and 3 down, wrapped in light bubble wrap so they don't clink against each other......I know this to be a fact.

Good idea!! Need to buy bubble wrap. Put that on my list with everything else.
