I emailed DCL about projected arrival time in LA. Here is the reply. Might help some of you book transfers etc.



'Thank you for choosing a Disney Cruise Line Vacation! I hope you are

Normally, the ship is cleared from Customs in Los Angeles at
approximately 7:30 AM. Disembarkation procedures will begin at around
8:00 AM and the ship is typically cleared by 9:30 AM.

She totally loves it, and I like it too. I was expecting just a straight bob cut, but my friend called me this morning to remind me that her cut is right for her personality, a bob just wouldn't be Molly.

I'm waiting until early May before I go get my hair done. I'll get a cut and color and maybe highlighted and I'll get my eyebrows waxed. I start prepping for every cruise like this. Then when I get to Cocoa Beach, I'll get my mani/pedi done. Then I'll be ready to get on board and maybe do a rain forest spa day and the reflexology, which I have never had done before, but would love to try it. Has anyone else done this? How was it? How long does it last?

It's fun to have a pamper day......it feels sooooooo good....enjoy yours Marilyn.

I made my appointment last night for mine (cut and highlight), I'm going 4/2, but now I'm wondering too early???

For those of you that have the Lowepro CompuDaypack Camera Bag , will DD's 17" MacBook Pro fit inside?

I read the spec's and it says "with a rear compartment for a notebook computer to fit most 17 inch models ."

Since apple's tend to be on the smaller size, I would say yes. PC laptops will be larger in foot prints and may have more issues.

Thanks PJ. I've been reading the reviews on Amazon and it seems to be a mixed opinion. With most saying it's snug.

My DD11 is finishing elementary school this year and will start... oh, I hate to even type it here..... MIDDLE school. That to me is the real turning point that my "little girl" is most definitely growing up!

yes I know that dreaded feeling too well. Molly has made that jump, her Middle School is 5th-8th, she is there now. But I have to stay it has been the best experience for her. She is much more confident and self assured in this school environment. She could have stayed at her elementary thru 6th, but we opted to move her for a variety of reasons. Lots of her old school chums will be coming next year and she is a year ahead of them in the game of navigation of Middle School.

Jacinda had hers done very young and has never given me trouble with it other then wanting to buy lots of earrings.

I can see that with Jacinda. I bet she was able to handle it at a younger age. Molly, nope never could have taken care of them. Remember she was the girl that didn't want to comb that long hair of hers...

OK PEOPLE THEY HAVE CONCEADED TO US ON THE BOXES!! The guy who runs IDS is a very nice guy and he got it sorted out for us. I just got off the phone with DCL who conferenced him in too so I know know exactly what we can and cannot do as far as shipments.

It was 6:30pm last night but I bet you know that already! I went to bed last night at about 8pm!

you were making up for the late night before...your body needed the rest and now we expect to see you in the wee hours again.

OMG it looks so cute! It is not nearly as short as I had thought it would be. WOW Well cheer up Nan it could have looked bad on her but it looks really great. I have to say though she does look older and I think that is where the mommy sadness kicks in.

Turns out when it was wet she didn't have to go so short, relief on both of our parts.

Yes, she isn't a little girl anymore but growing into a young lady

Maybe reverse phycology is worth a try to get her to want to grow it back? Maybe she would want to do locks of love and not cut it again(for a while)???

Heck I have thought about getting my nose done before! I have had piercings other then my ears. Things hurt for a but like ears but in a few minutes it is done.

I'm ok with others piercing, just not me (okay or Molly or Wil or Paul)

Well you can find comfort in the fact that yes she is growing up BUT she is growing up into a caring wonderful young lady. She did a really great thing and she looks fantastic. Be happy all these things point to having a great mom!

Thank you, but I do believe that she was born with a kind heart, I'll take credit for encourging it but it being there is all on her and God.

It will grow much faster now that it is cut I swear it sound goofy when people say that but J cuts hers every year and it does come back!
